-- Henry David Thoreau
Mien: Lux' skin darkens to nearly pitch black, dark enough to contrast the bright neon glow that emanates from them. The light rarely shines directly from them--instead it shines out from inside their clothes, casting their dark features in stark highlight. When in motion they live afterimages behind them and trails of light, like a long exposure photograph. Their ears come to slight points, and their eyes are black, save for the irises, which creates two rings of neon light staring out from the darkness. If they stay in place for too long (Which is fairly rare), flickers of light will drift off of them, creating a halo of eerie firefly-like orbs. Mantle: The glimmer and glare of cold light reflecting off of a fresh snowbank--sometimes the shine of white sunlight, sometimes the colorful ripples of the aurora borealis. Personality: Lux is high energy all the time. They yearn to run and dance and constantly stay active. Even when sitting still they're bobbing their foot or tapping their fingers. They're incredibly outgoing, flirty and friendly, sometimes to the point of coming off narcissistic. They look upon the world with passion and optimism that some might find surprising from a Winter. Public History:
Won't Slow Down: Lux has only been out of the Hedge for a few months--but they've made the most of their time. They hit the ground running, quickly joining the Winter Court and integrating themself into mortal spheres. (More info once sanctioned.)
"This is an example quote. You can leave a quote here, showing how your character would speak of Lux behind their back." - Your Name Here "A dear friend, and often a much-needed reminder that there's more in the world than one's comfortable four walls." - Asbolus "There's so much more to them than what I see. I know that. I someday they'll let me in all the way, but I'm not holding my breath. What we've got is fine, now, we're making it work." - Jack "The outside observer might think that there's something insincere about how Lux can swing from petty to cloying, from intense to bored. As if there's a single 'real Lux' and the rest are all acting. But that's not a accurate; it's all so very real that it's sometimes jarring. Which isn't to say they don't hide their feelings, when said feelings feel like they might be unpleasant or inconvenient. They are a Winter, after all." - Mearcstapa
