 A long-wandering Spring, Gisa Cohen has been moving from one Freehold to another for quite some time, but she seems to have settled here for the time being. Rumor has it that she's been back from Arcadia for over half a century, maybe even closer to a century -- but if that's the case, then she hasn't aged a day that whole time.

 She's bought a small shop space and is transforming it into a Jewish bookstore and a hangout for the Freehold's Lost. The golem is part of a motley and is also a Joyeux.

Standing on the parted shores of history
we still believe what we were taught
before ever we stood at Sinai's foot;
that wherever we go, it is eternally Egypt,
that there is a better place, a promised land;
that the winding way to that promise
passes through the wilderness.
That there is no way to get from here to there
except by joining hands, marching
together.
