| Hook and Ladder: Jacob has worked in a firehouse in some form or fashion for the last twenty years, recently transferring to Philadelphia after family business brought him northward.
Don't Mess With...Well, You Know: Jacob hails from one of the smaller towns due west of Houston, although he doesn't sport much of the telltale accent unless he gets particularly hot under the collar.
Strange and Unusual: As an Ithaeur Jacob ends up in peculiar places at times looking into the phenomenon that occurs within. Beyond the usual spirit fare he is well-versed in ghostly goings-on and is willing to give the dead a hand when needed.

| Jacob is one of those people who gives the impression that he should be a few inches taller than he is, sporting a well-built physique that reflects years of both mundane training and serving the Urfarah as one of Kamduis-Ur's children. He keeps his hair short and facial hair to a minimum due to the needs of the job, his dark-eyed stare sometimes looking past someone more than at them. He sports a number of tattoos across his shoulders and upper torso, including some recognizable as the marks left by earning a new Gift to those who know what to look for.
