Emissaries of Renewal

Under the shadow of The Underworld tree, lies a forgotten ghostly village from the Mother's people, in the darkest shadow of the deepest roots, you can understand what was lost, but you can’t recognize it. Breathe in the cloud, can you feel your heart burning? Can you feel the struggle within your soul? The fear within me is beyond anything a mundane soul can make. You cannot kill Truth in a way that matters - Inspired by Tumblr user Personsonable

History

In the Underworld, there is another presence from the Martyr’s Tree. Its fruits are rare and prized for the Mysteries and knowledge that it can bring. The history of the Legacy is nascent and vibrant. The mage traveled the darkness of the Underworld, in search of answers about recent awakenings, about the knowledge that was lost, forgotten, due to the fumbling steps of her youth. Upon reaching the glade of the Martyr’s Tree in the Underworld, she found humility and a new depth of empathy to aspire to.

After learning of the Ghostly presence's link to the trees and after a conversation with the Mother, the group was sent back home by the mage while she remained behind. During her stay, she received a mysterious blessing from the Mother, her curiosity, her attempt at understanding rewarded.

Understanding others and their needs and responses is an important, sacred act for the Emissaries of Renewals. The Sporeling adds Empathy to their Rote Skills as a result.

Additionally, when under the effect of the Life Sight, the spores living within the Sporeling translate sensory information of various kind in a much more efficient fashion and gives them automatic successes on scrutiny rolls that concern living beings of any strips equal to their dot in the Life arcana.
Optional: Death 1
The spores are lodged deep and permanently within the soul and body of the sporeling and it deepens their senses to a soul-deep level. Whenever they come in contact with another person, the Sporeling may peer into their soul. This function as the Soul Mark spell (Instant activation)

Second: Spore Cloud

Prerequisites: Life 2, Empathy 3
The Sporeling can deploy the spores around them like a cloud that carry their senses out of their own body, making them hyper-aware of every details of their surroundings. Any life form that enters the area is known and identified by its types of life. This replicates the effect of Web of Life in an area around the Sporeling as big as a small room. The area covered expands further (A Large room) when the Sporeling reaches the fourth attainment. (instant casting, Advanced Duration)
Optional: Death 2
The Cloud of Spores exemplifies the very concept of rot and decay, an extended form of life that exists as part of the cycle, with this ability, the cloud of spores sense the presence of the undead and allow communication through mundane means with ghosts. This function as the Speak with the dead spell with the reach applied to Instant cast and Advanced Duration

Third: Mycelium of the Soul

Prerequisites:Life 3, One of the optional skills at 3

The Sporeling and the Spores within are one and the same at this level and their ability to act through the spores is increased. The Sporeling may spend 1 Potentia to alter the range from touch/self to sensory as long as the spell or attainment targets someone within their Spore Cloud.

Optional: Death 3
The Sporeling's soul is intertwined with the Spores and with only a thought, it can be made much harder for anyone to meddle with their souls. They can also impart this blessing to others through their clouds or through touch. This function as the Soul Armor attainment with the Advanced duration and the instant casting reaches applied.

Fourth: Sporecrafting

Prerequisites: Life 4, Empathy 4
The Sporeling can will her spores to alter life forms within and out of her body, granting her new abilities that only vegetals normally have. This grants 1 feature per dot in the Life Arcana and a list of potential such affairs is listed in the Mage core pg 151. Transform Life (Advanced Duration, Instant Cast reach).

Optional Matter 4
Even things so small they escape everyone's senses need to be tended to and it can be helped with this attainment, By aligning herself with the micro-organism she controls and reflecting upon on the Size of the Underworld's Martyr's Tree the Sporeling can alter her own size along with any gear they may be carrying. This function as Shrink and Grow with the following reach applied: Instant casting, Advanced Duration

Fifth: Nurture the Soul in All things

Prerequisites: Life 5, Death 5, Empathy 5, One of the Other skills at 4
No one under the watch of a Sporeling is left uncared for if the Sporeling has the ability to do something about it. By expending 1 Potentia, the Sporeling may extend the effects of her own non-legacy attainments to people within her Spore Cloud, provided that they (the sporeling) also expend the Potentia required for those effects in the same turn.

Optional Matter 5
By imparting spores into an object made of formerly living material (Wood, leather, bones), the Sporeling can animate a construct and can command it to their liking. This function as the Golem spell with the instant cast and advanced duration applied. If a willing ghost is nearby, the Sporeling may choose to bind it within.
