Dr. Naomi Milner grew up in Lancaster, and after leaving the Amish community to which she was born, she began traveling the world. Her Adamantine Arrow Moros wife, Zilla, lives in Maine and rarely leaves that town; Ansatz always circles back to her. Her duties as a member of the Choir of Hashmallim call her all over the world. The Mysterium regards her as a trusted teacher; the Awakened world as a whole knows her to be a gentle soul likewise capable of channeling Divine Wrath.
A professional translator and statistical consultant (which is a pretty weird mix, you gotta admit), Ansatz is also an activist, a member of many groups such as Evangelists for Social Change and Redeeming Our Faith. To call her an unusual follower of Christ is to put it mildly; she's a gently outspoken one, in favor of many reforms and non-denominational. She seems as comfortable in a Catholic church as she does a Quaker meetinghouse. She's also a relatively well-known Acquisitor who's traveled the world in search of many items now in the possession of New York's Athenaeum. Yoshitsune calls her Miko.
