All Bacchantes have the ability to stir the passions and emotions in others. Every mundane social action is considered an Exceptional Success at three successes instead of five.

The members of the Duchagne line are never able to throw themselves fully into an endeavor, suffering from terrible boredom. Any action used twice on the same target, be it a Discipline power or a simple social interaction, loses two dice

Devotions

La Touche Illusoire (Majesty •••)

This Devotion enhances Awe, and allows the Duchagne to create the illusion of a single touch in a target’s mind if her victim is affected by that power.

 Cost: 1 willpower

 Dice Pool: Intelligence + Expression + Majesty vs Resolve + Blood Potency

 Action: Instant

 Failure: Nothing happens.

 Success: The Duchagne creates one specific touch her target feels. It can be something like a slap to the face, or a caress, anything that is brief. The target takes the Distracted Condition for a number of turns equal to the Bacchant's successes.

 Exceptional Success: The Daeva crafts a complex pattern of feelings that overwhelm the senses. Instead of inflicting the Distracted Condition, she imposes her Blood Potency as a penalty to the target's Composure.

This Devotion costs 2 Experience.

Douleur Agréable (Majesty ••, Nightmare ••)

A touch of the Duchagne's hand is enough to bring a target to a halt, either in agony or ecstasy. Spend a vitae and roll Intelligence + Empathy + Majesty resisted by Composure + Blood Potence. Outside of combat, this Devotion may cause either the Spooked (Pain) or Swooning (Pleasure) condition. In combat, it inflicts the Stunned tilt instead of the usual effect, and requires a target to be touched on bare skin.

This Devotion costs 2 Experiences.

Insensate (Nightmare ••, Vigor ••)

With but a soft whisper the Duchagne can leave a victim senseless.

 Cost: 1 vitae

 Dice Pool: Intelligence + Subterfuge + Nightmare vs Resolve + Blood Potency

 Action: Instant

 Failure: Nothing happens.

 Success: For every success the target takes a penalty of 1 die to all actions using the chosen sense. The effect begins to fade immediately, at the rate of one die per turn.

This Devotion costs 2 Experiences.

Jardin d'Agrement (Majesty •••, Nightmare •••)

The most powerful Devotion of the Duchagne, Jardin d’Agrément allows the Bacchant to craft fiction that overlaps and competes with reality, confusing the victim and warping her perception completely. The Duchagne does not control what the victim sees, but chooses exactly how anything the victim experiences will make her feel.

 Cost: 1 vitae, 1 willpower

 Dice Pool: Intelligence + Subterfuge + Majesty vs Resolve + Blood Potency

 Action: Instant

 Success: The subject is overwhelmed by the warping effect of the Jardin d’Agrément, and the whole of his surroundings are suffused with false meaning. A penalty equal to the Duchagne's dots in Blood Potency is imposed on all actions that the subject undertakes for the remainder of the scene.

 Exceptional Success: The subject is not only distracted, she gives more importance to the Jardin than reality itself, confusing real input with that of the illusion. Any action against her must be identified with a Wits + Composure roll before the victim can react.
