Bloodline Gift

The Dynasts' are known for their steely resolution, and any who try to conquer them must face a challenge like no other. Any rolls resisted by the Dynast's Resolve lose their 0-again.

Bloodline Bane

Icarians are ambitious vampires, and small victories do not satisfy them. Icarians can only spend Willpower to activate Disciplines when furthering their Aspirations or when acting accordingly to their Dirge.

Devotions

Holy Fervor (Resilience •••)

The Icarians are known for their fervor and will, their minds fortresses hard to conquer even with Disciplines. Holy Fervor allows a Dynast to use Resilience’s active armor effect against Disciplines like Majesty or Dominate. The vampire spends 1 vitae and negates as many successes from an attacker’s roll as she has dots in Resilience.

This Devotion costs 2 Experiences.

The Icarian Edict (Dominate •, Majesty •, Resilience •)

The Holy Dynasts are the superior Damned, but as obvious as it is some need to be shown this truth. The Icarian Edict forces other, lesser vampires to understand they stand before their rightful ruler, one they have no right to command and should instead serve.

 Cost: 1 Vitae

 Action: Instant and contested

Dice Pool: Presence + Intimidation + Majesty vs Resolve + Blood Potency

If successful this Devotion temporarily removes dots of the victim’s Majesty or Dominate in whatever combination the Icarian wishes. The vampire removes dots one-for-one along with her Resilience, up to her successes, losing a dot of her Discipline for each she takes from her enemy. This Devotion lasts a scene.

This Devotion costs 2 Experiences.

Manifest Destiny (Dominate •, Majesty •)

The throne awaits the Dynasts and this certainty makes them superior in the most subtle ways. Whenever an Icarian has Awe active she always wins rolls when they are ties.

This Devotion costs 1 Experience.

Armor of Righteousness (Majesty •••, Dominate •)

One of the most popular legends of the Icarian is that of a zealot that remains composed enough to negotiate while burning at the stake. Armor of the Righteousness may have something to do with that. After activating Awe, the Dynast can then change how Confidant works. When attacked by the victim of Awe the Icarian overwhelms her aggressor with regret. Any successes on the attack are used as a penalty to further aggressions made by that target for the remainder of the same scene.

This Devotion costs 2 Experiences.
