Amos Mansouri was a pilot within the US Army Air Corps prior to and during the second world war. His father flew with the French in the first world war, coming to France by way of Algeria. His presence in the United States therefore was never tinged with the stain of American slavery, and the Jim Crow laws and segregationist policies of the United States at the time didn't know quite what to make of an american pilot of French Algerian extraction who spoke several languages and could outfly the average aerodrome.
And then his plane disappeared over Western New Jersey during a night operation ferrying materiel to some secret base or other. The whole affair was, of course, brushed under the rug. Disavowed. Buried, and so on. Nobody thought to make too much of a fuss at the disappearance of a square black peg in this army of round white (ass)holes, and with time it all smoothed over again.
Something something and then Amos awoke.
Something something and his shadowname is Hades. He's an Emissary of Renewal. Only Kayla never taught him, nor does she recall handing him a Daimonomikon. He swears he didn't study her soul, too. It's what you might call a mystery.
He is a Moros, has been around for years, but is seemingly fresh in his understandings. And lately he just doesn't seem to remember all the things he ought to. Not that anyone else is having much luck coming up with all the details, either.
