Scourge: If you entered the Hollow now, it would be difficult to miss a large, furry man sitting on the grass next to the sparring area, idly petting a wolf with fur like night while holding a tankard of ale. Scourge looked around, sniffing at the air. There weren't many people around at the moment, but he wasn't much of a people person anyway.

Aurelio Menegi: As Scourge sat with his lupine companion the sight of a tall but wiry man emerging from the memorial area would be easy to see, dark clothes contrasting the white marble of his form. Pale blue eyes scanned the area as he made his way out, pausing as he spotted the other Lost and giving a polite nod.

Scourge: Scourge returned the nod, raising his tankard before taking a drink. "Wonder who he's grieving," he muttered to Hati.

Aurelio Menegi: Aurelio continued on towards the sparring grounds, the banked heat of a covered kiln wafting from around him as he came within conversation range. When he spoke the words were firmly touched by his native Italian tongue, and not in the standard South Philly manner. "Do not think we've met. Aurelio, a pleasure."

Scourge: As Aurelio approached, he would have noticed the smell of burning wood and the sound of crickets chirping. Scourge pulled himself to his feet, regarding the slightly shorter man. "Scourge. Nice to meetcha."

The big man started to hold out his hand for a handshake, realized he had nasty claws and this might be taken the wrong way, and awkwardly transferred it into a fist for a fist bump. Smooth.

Aurelio Menegi: Aurelio didn't seem to mind the claws, shifting to the fistbump after a moment when it was offered. His own hand was almost shockingly cold even with the brief contact. "Sorry if I interrupted. Been in town for a few months, but still getting to know others here."

Scourge: "No worries, I was just relaxing with Hati. We were patrolling the trod for most of the day." He narrowed his eyes slightly. "You from New York?" Scourge is clearly a master of understanding accents.

Aurelio Menegi: He shook his head at the question. "No, Venice. Murano, to be specific."

Scourge: "Damn. Long way from home." He grunted noncommittally. "I've barely even been outside the city. Besides, uh... You know. Is it true what they say, about Venice sinking? Must be wild."

Aurelio Menegi: "Very, but it has been pleasant here." He nodded quietly. "The lagoon has reclaimed some, yes. Most still stand firm, however."

Scourge: "That's some poetic shit. But it's a nice thought, I guess. Even regular schmucks can win against the ocean, right?" Scourge looked down at Hati, who looked suitably insulted that she wasn't being pet anymore. Scourge made a clicking noise with his tongue, then mounted Hati after she stood up. "Hey, sorry to chat and run, but I got some idiots back in the city that need me to keep them in line. Nice meeting you, though. We should patrol together sometime."
