Sirius: There was an odd mix of emotions on Sirius' face as the moments ticked by, crouched beside Alexis where she fell and 'helping' with the more mundane care his other cadremates were giving her. The concern for her well-being was clear as day, but so too was the wonder that came from watching the dance of golden light and pneuma that surrounded her as she continued her journey into the Supernal. It was something he had hoped to see ever since he took up the tenants of the Illumined Path, and it was just as glorious as he had thought it might be.

When she finally roused he breathed a sigh of relief, giving those more familiar with the green path room to do their magic. "Alexis? Do you know who I am? Do you know me?"

Diamond: "Her soul is back" A not so distant sigh of relief is heard, a sniffling sound and she wipes at her eyes "You made it." her voice maybe familiar, emotional. "I promise I'm never making another short joke about you again." she chuckles.

Alexis Bartram: Alexis spits out a wad of half-clotted blood and snot, "Motherfucker, oww." She groans, leaning her head back against the ground and closing her eyes, "Jay, why do I feel like I just had the mother of all anyurisms?"

Sirius: "Long story...welcome back, though." He looked around briefly, lightly tracing a circle on the piece of metal set into the leather bracelet on his left wrist. "Give me one second and we'll go somewhere we can explain it."

Diamond: "Yeah, glad to have you back." she steps closer to Jay and Alexis. "Wait for the others, they're coming, or checking the park for more trouble."

Hearth: Hearth breathed out a sigh of relief when she arrived back with the others. "Congratulations," Hearth said softly, sounding a bit fatigued herself. "And welcome back."

Alexis Bartram: "So, just a point of interest. Satan apparently wears a trenchcoat and a blue tie. And has no face." Alexis might be a little loopy still. Maybe

Sirius: "...really." Sirius smirked a touch. "Was a black suit for me."

The light tracing on the metal continued for a moment or two before the flicker of magic settled around the gathered mages, shielding them from easy view of the world around them. "Set. Let's get you up, yeah?" He shifted in his crouch to help her sit up at the very least, being as gentle about it as he could manage. (Incognito Presence, 2x, 1 reach instant, 1 reach adv durtation)

Diamond: "Satan is blue and faceless...." She nods once, wondering about the potential implicated of that. Kay is wearing denim and leather jacket right now and playing with a braid of glowsticks in her hand, just like she was back at the protest she met Alexis at.

Hearth: "A devil should have multiple suits of clothing," Hearth said lightly. "My vehicle is nearby, are you able to move? It would be wise to get you somewhere safer and less exposed."

Alexis Bartram: Alexis lets him help, her head lolling to the side as she feels a tingle from...somewhere that leads her to focus on that sensation of something lying behind everything she was seeing. "Ohhhh. Oh. Oh. Is this that thing that got used on me yesterday?" She pokes Jay in the side with her free hand, "It feels like it does something like what that woman did."

Sirius: That got the Warlock's attention, eyes narrowing as a rather large flare of WHO DARES rose up. "What woman?"

Diamond: "I doubt someone used that on you." She looks at her Cadremates. "But more like on themselves? Isn't that what that does?"

Hearth: Hearth put a hand on Sirius' arm, and offered Alexis her support in moving. "Come on, sweetie. Let's get you taken care of and cleaned up first and foremost. I know you must have a lot of questions and we do too."

Alexis Bartram: "It made my brain hurt and freaked me the fuck out. She was there and then suddenly I couldn't remember she was there. Except I know she was just there, so clearly she was still there." Alexis gives a tiny groan, and starts walking with Jay in the direction Hearth suggests. "Her name was....River. No last name. She said she was one of Mei's friends, was getting in touch with me to let me know Mei was all fucked up and wouldn't be able to work on cases for a while."

Sirius: "Usually...it makes you harder to notice." A wary note wrapped around the response to Diamond's question, relaxing as Alexis explained. He offered himself as a support as they got on the move, letting her set the pace. "Right...I'll have a word with her next time I see her."

Diamond: "Yes, hence why I'm saying it wasn't used on Alexis." Diamond explains there and looks around "Heather, is that your car over there or did you park it further?" she points to a care that's likely the right one. "That River lady used it on herself to conceal her presence from Alexis." Kay says with a shrug "Semantics, maybe, but I'm guessing that's going to be the important detail here. Law stuff can get a little detailed like that." a roll of her eyes there.

Hearth: "That's it," she agreed when Kay pointed out her minivan. It even sported a My kid is an honor student at Rosegarden Preschool bumpersticker. She pressed the clicker to unlock and open the side door. "All's well that ends well, and Alexis is safely with us," Hearth said.

Alexis Bartram: Alexis lets herself get plunked down in the minivan and leans back, "Why do I feel like this is going to get complicated?"

Sirius: "Complicated is an easy word for it, but you've got us to help walk you through it." He said with a smile, claiming a seat of his own in the van. "To put it simply, you just opened your eyes on the greater truth of the world, and now have the ability to help forge it into something new, something better than the fallen pieces we've been left with."

Diamond: "If I may offer one important piece of complication to you right this moment." she gets into the car and looks over her shoulder. "Avoid using your real name and that of Mei or the rabbi that was with her." She explains soft and simple. "Names have power and they... also woke up, like you did, but not on the same path." She looks to Jay with a little nod. "Jay can explain why in more details."

Hearth: "And that's plopping you right in the middle of the explanation," Heather chuckled as she got in the drivers seat and buckled up. "Life is complicated and this world is full of lies that have clouded your experiences until now. It won't get less complicated, but you now have the tools and ability to cut through the lies and understand the truth. Also, yer a wizard, Harry."

Alexis Bartram: "Yeah, the douche in the trenchcoat was warning me against signing up for the losing side. Claimed he wanted to save me from a lifetime of suffering if I would just sign up to be someone's slave. Probably would have worked better if he wasn't muttering about that same someone making him pay for fucking things up." Alexis sighs at the news about Mei, then perks up, "Hey, wait, is that what made the riot so weird? Them going thorugh....whatever just happened to me?"

Sirius: Sirius' eyebrow arched at the mention of the bargain, shaking his head. "Pulling the Jareth routine...typical."

"Possibly, or what was going on there might have sparked it. Bit of a chicken and egg sort of thing." He looked over to Alexis at that. "We call what happened to you an Awakening, what with it being a realization after being asleep to the Light of the grander world."

Diamond: "You know, before you went through it?" She explains "I thought that was it too, but after witnessing what happened here today? I'm not sure there wasn't an exterior hand in the riots somehow." Kay seems a little thoughtful as she fiddles intensely with the braid of glow sticks. She reaches out behind the seat to pat Jay on the knee. "Can you take care of the guest room when we get back? I'll deal with your turn at the dishes." Yes, they have a dishwasher, no Kay doesn't use it, she prefer to handwash them thank you very much.

Hearth: "People like that... they're called the Seers of the Throne. Instead of reaching for the Truth, they use the power they have to empower themselves. It's like a secret cult designed to abuse a corrupt system for their own gain. They prop up the broken system- the Lie for their own benefit. We are here because we want you- and everyone else- to be able to break through and Awaken to power and enlightenment for yourselves."

Alexis Bartram: "Figured that was it, or something like it. Especially since he had this...symbol of authority. Also, the whole being physically chained to a throne bit was a clue." Alexis closes her eyes so she doesn't have to watch the scenery go past, "That entire trip was horrible, I would like to note. 2/10, would do again but really glad if I don't."

Sirius: "Sounds good." Sirius nodded to Diamond with a small smirk.

"Pandemonium isn't an easy path to walk." Said like a man who knew all too well. "Usually have to face a lot of ugly truths along the way. Or that was my experience, at least."

Diamond: "Four other paths you could've walked." She says, she reaches out to Alexis with a pack of tissue. "Mary will help deal with the wounds that attack did when she join with us." she make a quiet motion of where the blood is.

Hearth: Hearth pulled the van into theit parking garage spot beneath the Soulwarden's sanctum, turned off the engine, and turned around to study Alexis for a long moment. "No path is easy, but the one your soul chooses is important. It's a matter of debate whether such a choice is nature or nuture, so to speak. I went across the Styx to Stygia, others visit the realms of Arcadia and the Fae, the Aether and its angelic host, or the Primal Wild with all its life and beasts."

Alexis Bartram: "So. Where to now? It seems we've arrived somewhere." Alexis finishes wiping off what blood she can that leaked out of her, but she still looks pretty punch drunk.

Sirius: "This is our place of operations, as it were. Going to get you inside and cleaned and healed up, then go over what's going on and where things may go from here. Work for you?

Diamond: Kay, once the car is stopped, can't get out of the car fast enough, wiping her forehead after she's out. She holds the door open for both Alexis and Jay. "I went to Stygia also."

Hearth: "And I'll get you something to eat if you think you can stomach it." She smiled and locked up the van behind them as they headed inside. It was one of the old converted loft apartments with high ceilings, a wide open floorplan, and a light and airy feel. The scents of fresh bread, sugar, and paint lingered in the air.

Alexis Bartram: "Something simple might work. At least I only sorta feel like I threw up, instead of like I spent five minutes throwing up everything down to my shoes." Alexis finds a place to lie down that seems reasonably soft, pulling out her cell phone and fumbling her way through a message to someone before setting it to silent.

Hearth: "Chicken soup? Ginger tea?" she suggested.

Sirius: Sirius helped Alexis get settled on the couch, eyeing the phone briefly when she pulled it to send off a message. "One big thing to start off with, although considering the circles you've run with you probably have an idea: this is not something you can talk about to those not in the know. It can get you in some deep kimchi, to put it lightly."

Diamond: Kay disappears behind a door, no magic, she's just being discreet and she comes back about a minute later carrying a little bundle of clothes, she drops parts of it in another room and then comes back to their meditation room, the one with all the plants and tea that Mary grows. "Change of clothes for guest, might be a little large." black sweater and comfortable pants.

Alexis Bartram: "Gotcha. And that sounds fine...uhhh..." Alexis pauses for a moment, "What should I call you. Actually, what should I call ALL of you?"

Hearth: Heather puttered around the kitchen and put the kettle on. "I'm Heather," she said cheerfully. "It's not a secret for secrecy's sake either. You've had a brush with the Seers. There are other dangers out there too that do not wish the world to change for the better. Also, do you remember something like a black void? A nothingness or cthonic abyss before you found your Tower? The Abyss is a wound in our world. It wishes to drag everything down and taints our reality. To do things too overtly and in the public eye can cause a Paradox. Someone who still Sleeps can't reconcile seeing something Supernal with the Lie they are immersed in, and they reject the Supernal. The world rejects the Supernal, and it strengthens that Abyss."

Sirius: "That, by the way," Sirius motioned towards Heather at that last note, "is most likely what got you scattered after River pulled the cloaking trick. Can't say for sure, mind."

"Jay is fine in public. Among those like us," another quick motion to those in the room, "I'm known as Sirius."

Diamond: Kay sits near Alexis smiling a little bit toward the new magi. "I'm Kay, when in private you can call me Kayla, if we're getting around to doing Official Magic Things I chose and empower the name of Diamond." She nods "And if we're really getting fancy, there's a whole damn lot of titles related to how good you are with each 'area' of magic."

Alexis Bartram: "I think it might have been at least partially inside my own head. I have this...thing about my memory, for reasons you'r..eee.....heeeeeyyyy wait a fucking second." Alexis bolts about a quarter of the way to upright than freezes and subsides back back to horizontal. "You don't think...?"

Hearth: "Oh lord do not get into the archaic titles and that nonsense now. Do you want her to run screaming? Suffice it to say, we have a very long history and traditions can get rather formal and excessive. It can take some time to get used to but you don't need to worry about it just this second" She brought over a cup of ginger tea and a plate of crackers and cheese for Alexis, then started to get out the ingredients to make soup. "Think what?"

Sirius: Sirius gave Alexis a "better lie back down, missy" as she shot up off the couch, watching as she lied back down to make sure she was alright. "Possibly."

He looked towards the others at that. "About ten years back she lost a night, and with how sharp her memory normally is she noticed the difference with the memory that's filling in the blanks. I haven't actually checked yet, but she might've gotten the MIB treatment."

Diamond: "I suggest waiting for a less traumatic night." Kay smiles and curls up onto the couch, squirming a little there, then looks toward Heather and Laugh "Yes Heather, I'm giving her the space, don't worry." she makes a heartshape with her hand.

Alexis Bartram: Alexis nibbles away at the crackers, "I'm not the only one who noticed. Mei said there was definately a difference between my normal memories and the memories of that night when she took a look last Friday."

Hearth: Noodles, broth, precooked chicken, some fresh veggies that she peeled, chopped, and tossed in the pot. A bit of this and that from the spice cupboard, and pretty soon the delicious smell started filling the room. She flashed a grin at Kay. "Why do you always assume I'm the boss of responsibility around here? The memories thing... not my department but we do sometimes adjust people's memories in order to protect them."

Sirius: "Definitely. Got to let stuff settle after that; know it took me a while." Sirius smirked a touch, finally taking a seat himself as he nodded to Heather. "Right...that's what I'm thinking may have happened. I don't have the mastery to find what may have been lost, but I can at least take a look and confirm it."

He looked back to Alexis at that. "There are different purviews of magic that we call Arcana which are basically the 'what you can affect' designation. The ties to Pandemonium that we have key us towards working with spatial manipulations and matters of the mind. You can learn other ones as well, but those tend to be in your starting kit."

Diamond: Kay looks vaguely around for a moment and shrug "I'm mostly messing around Heather, you know I can just do about everything around." she shrugs and girn her way, her gaze focus on Alexis for just a moment. "Just because I'm aware of the situation..." she clear her throat. "Memories aren't normally just... changed for the fun of it, from what I understand. It's very likely a crime in fact, to do so without a solid enough reason." she sits a little differently. "But sometimes, it's preferrable that something be forgotten than something that a Sleeper doesn,t have tools to deal with haunt them until they break. Or make them curious and stumble into dangerous places without ways to defend themselves."

Alexis Bartram: "So what, exactly, was...whoever it was...trying to protect me from? It couldn't have been something expected - I assume that those kinds of people usually do their homework on their targets, and anyone who had at least a week to observe me would have known that a 'normal' memory wouldn't work in my case." Alexis sighs, "So what blows away other magic? I saw...something strange swat away this looming sense of condemnation that was swelling to overwhelm me about 3 seconds before I took the silver thread to hell. For that matter, I think I touched it. Sorta."

Hearth: Heather grimaced. "I protected you from the first of the Seer's strikes. I wasn't able to stop his second attack. I'm sorry. If you hadn't taken that silver thread you would have died."

Sirius: "Can't say, not off-hand at least. You may have come across some sort of magical happenings that they felt you needed to not remember, and were unaware of your natural ability on that front."

"That's another one of the arcana which we refer to as Prime, which is basically the magic of magic and revealing the truth behind the Lie of the world. I have a fair hand at it myself, although Heather's more skilled in it than I am." He pausing, thinking a moment before looking to Alexis with a smirk. "Feel like flexing your muscles a bit and seeing what you might be able to do?"

Diamond: "Go about it the simplest of way and if you need a target, I volunteer." She points to herself. "Also, it's entirely possible than an asshole did it for the hell of it." a shrug "We'll find out when you're ready."

Alexis Bartram: "Ohh, that sounds like both fun and a bad idea. Much more fun than digging at a ten year old mystery." Alexis waves her fingers, "So like, do we use ritual tools and stuff or...?"

Hearth: "Your power is in your will, and your ability to wield it is in your knowledge and mastery of Supernal Truths. Tools and rituals can be used as a focus for your will, but they are not the instrument of power. You are."

Sirius: "What she said." He motioned to Heather with a smirk before holding up his left arm to show the leather bracelet with a circle of thin metal set into the center. "This is one of mine, for example."

"I was thinking something more internal in this case, just in case." He nodded to Diamond before looking back to Alexis. "One trick that I use a good bit lets you maintain two different trains of thought at the same time. That should be one you should be able to pull of."

Diamond: Diamond pulls out the glowstick braid "This is one of mine." she pulls a Diamond shaped wood pieces that looks old enough to be rotten from her jacket, setting it on her lap. "I got a couple more too, they need to 'match' certain energies and theme from your magic. We'll teach you instant casting I think too, because I am not in the mood for a three hour session of chanting."

Alexis Bartram: "So..." she digs in a pocket again, coming up with a short solid brass pen that she unscrews the cap on, screwing it back onto the rear, "I like...used this to sign my name on the thingie," a vague wave indicating a tall thing, "So that's probably a good way to focus, right?" she does a little pen flourish with it.

Hearth: "That's an excellent choice," Heather approved. "Keep such things secret and safe. It's a special pen, to have done what it did. It's not always wise to let others know about it."

Sirius: "Watchtower, and definitely. Brass is a resonant metal for our path as well, which helps in casting overall." Sirius nodded, lookng the pen over. "The way that you cast is to envison what you want to do and solidify that in your mind to act as the core focus. You can add other tools as additional focuses, but the Imago is big one."

"My personal imago for the split-mind trick is taking a string and separating it in half, but see what's comfortable for you and give it a shot."

Diamond: "Also, please, don't push the spell, like, at all to start. Just give it the little push to make it happen now, rather than working it in slow " She gives casual tip. "Right now, if you push, you risk causing some real problem for yourself."

Alexis Bartram: "Hmm..." She spins the pen a few times in her hand, then holds it up in front of her face, letting her eyes slowly focus past it so it seems to split into two in her vison, and....nothing happens. "Hrm. Ok, I sorta felt something there, but it just wouldn't take."

Hearth: "Try again," she encouraged. "Find your own mental image to focus on. You can do it. You've been to the Tower and signed your name. This is your divine inheritance. We are flawed, imperfect beings but your soul has taken a step up the ladder."

Sirius: "Exactly." Sirius nodded to Heather before looking back to Alexis with a small smile. "Can take a little bit to get the hang of, but knowing you it'll click soon."

Alexis Bartram: Alexis repeats the same motion, but this time puts all of her focus into it and the imago snaps into place, two trains of thought suddenly running in parallel inside her mind, "Got it. Ooof. That's rough. Might be easier once my brain is no longer made of mush."

Hearth: "Have some tea, and soup," she invited. "Let yourself rest and heal. I also have some leftovers if you'd like something sweet. Let's see... The meringues are fresh, there's some guilt-free cake left, and chocolate chip cookies that need to be eaten by tomorrow."

Sirius: "...yeah, I didn't think about that. Apologies." The smile went sheepish at that, shaking his head. "The fourth of our quartet will be able to patch you up later tonight if not in the morning."

He perked up a bit at the mention of deserts, giving Heather a proper puppy-dog-eyes stare. "Can I have some of the cookies?"

Diamond: Kay returns from what appears to be her room, she's dressed in bright yellow t-shirt that's a little too large for her and pale pink shorts, along with a plate of snacks she keeps in her room, because hey, the snacks are mostly nuts and fruits. "Sorry, I needed to go get comfortable."

Alexis Bartram: Alexis proceeds to nom on the rest of her cheese and cracker plate, "Its not the spell itself. Its just so damn hard to hold the imago steady in my head. I assume this sort of thing gets easier with practice?"

Hearth: "Oh! Are you asking before you eat my baking now?" Heather asked in mock surprise. "Of course you can have some. Please. I can't eat them all and they're not guilt-free versions, just regular mundane cookies- and yes, it does get easier with practice. You'll have teachers too, to help guide you beyond the limits of your current understanding."

Sirius: Sirius took on a look of shock of his own, a hand going to his chest. "You wound me, madame..."

A moment or three later the act slid to the side and he grinned, giving Alexis a nod as he hopped up from the couch. "Mmhmm. You'll build the mental muscle memory for it as you go. Want any of the sweet stuff or are you good for right now?"

Diamond: "I could show off some of my specialty if you want, If you want an idea of the scope of what's possible eventually?" She looks at Alexis "Feel totally fine saying no or asking questions."

Alexis Bartram: "Oh, I'm sure I'll ask plenty of questions eventually." Alexis sips at her tea, "I could eat a cookie. And feel free to demonstrate, Kay. How many specialties are there, anyway?"

Hearth: Hearth beamed and brought out the cookies. And meringues. "I'm going to let you guys settle in and go meditate for a time. You are welcome to stay here as long as you like, of course. If you need me, don't hesitate to come give me a nudge."

Sirius: Sirius thanked Hearth for the tray, sneaking in a quick one-armed hug before reclaiming his seat. "Have a good night."

"There are ten total." He replied as he offered Alexis to pick from the bevy of sweets first. "Death, Fate, Forces, Life, Matter, Mind, Prime, Space, Spirit, and Time. Think between our group the only one we're short on is Time."

Diamond: "I think maybe Forces too." She points to herself. "I am the specialist in Death magic." That might come as a surprise. She start chanting, to demonstrate and fiddles with it in a specific pattern and then .... she turns into pure shadowsn and swirl around the room , going through around them rapidly for about a minute , before resuming her spot on the couch. "It's a little less than my max actually, master level spells are.... not a thing I can just do with full safety without prep."

Alexis Bartram: "So I can ask you for anything but Time. Very French Emperor of you." Alexis snags a cookie. off the tray and watches the shadowform demonstration, "So the association of shadows with death is full on metaphysics, huh?"

Sirius: Sirius' eyebrow arched as Diamond went full shadow-walker, nodding with a smirk at Alexis' question. "Mmhmm. Cold as well if I remember, right?" He looked to Diamond for confirmation as he nabbed a cookie of his own.

Diamond: "I do cold by sucking the heat." She looks to Alexis "In the greater sense of things, Shadows are not just an absence of light, they're an active force." She clear her throat. "Speaking of, each path have an arcana they struggle a lot with." She point to herself. "Moros, like me, aren't too hot with Spirit."

Alexis Bartram: "That's even more odd. Shadows don't really fit any of the others, but I would imagine Forces would accomplish cold by much the same mechanism." Alexis ponders the concept of weaknesses for a moment. "I can already guess what we're bad at. Its Matter, isn't it?" She looks to Sirius for confirmation,

Sirius: "Got it in one." Sirius nodded with a grin. "It's too...solid, for lack of a better way to put it."

Diamond: "Thyrsus are not particularly good at Mind, Acanthus are terrible with Forces, Obrimos are not good with Death, too shiny, too bright." She points to Alexis "Also, I think both Mei and Aaron are that path."

Harmony: There's a quiet miow from the doorway, a cat poking its head in. A cat with white fur but a stripe of black across its eyes like it's a bandit cat. It takes one careful step into the room, sighting on Alexis with another hopeful miow.

Alexis Bartram: "Keeeetooommmm."

Sirius: Sirius looked about for the source of the meow to see if his own feline companion had ventured out from his room, smiling as he spotted the other cat. "That would be the fourth of our quartet. She can patch you up."

Diamond: Kay rushes for the cat and makes a genuine attempt to pick up from the ground, kiss its head once and bring it to Alexis's lap. "I had to stop buying Mary cat toys, she was starting to scratch me."

Harmony: The cat is happily picked up with a purr, settling on Alexis' lap and peering up at the newly Awakened mage, studying her with rather more focus then is normal for a feline. It doesn't stay put however, dropping off Alexis' lap after surveying the appearance of her health in a manner that takes longer then it should for the Thyrsus, it moves behind the couch and to where a few dressing gowns hang on the wall. A moment later a bare human arm reaches up to grab one of the gowns and there's the sound of someone dressing out of sight before Mary stands up, finishing tying the gown and offering a smile. "Welcome Alexis. Let's give you a hand with your head, yes? And I'm Mary, it is very good to meet you properly." She walks around, nodding. "You're happy for me to do that?"

Sirius: Sirius took a moment to polish off the cookie he had claimed before dusting his hands off and moving to stand from the couch. "I'm going to go make sure the guest room's ready and then call it a night, I think. You ladies have a good evening, and I'm really glad to have you here, Alexis. Look forward to working with you on the path ahead."

The last was said with a warm smile before he offered the gathered mages a quick salute and headed off.

Diamond: She smiles and leans forward, watching the cat transform into Mary again "Heather has a few guilty cookies and a few non-guilt stuff in the kitchen if you want."

Alexis Bartram: "Please do, I can barely focus on anything and it hurts like hell. Worse than hell, actually, I was there briefly." Alexis closes her eyes and tries to relax.

Harmony: Mary nods, touching slightly cool hands to Alexis' temples, keeping the contact light due to her injuries. A second later she begins to chant in High Speech, a slightly musical tilt to her words as she addresses healing balms and restoration. And just like that, the injuries fade away as her Nimbus flares and a mote of mana fades into the ether around them. She slants a look to Kay, gently lowering her hands from Alexis' head. "I'll be sure to swipe guilty ones." A grin before she nods to Alexis once more. "Better? I am very glad you're with us."(6 damage healed, including the agg!)

Alexis Bartram: Harmony has Alexis' undivided attention as soon as the first sylable of High Speech crosses her lips. You aren't even sure if she was feeling the pain of her injuries anymore before you finished healing them, "What was that language. It was beautiful..."

Diamond: She smiles at the resulting spells and chanting, looking thoroughly happy at it finally being dealt with. "I'm so glad this thing went well. I just hope the council and Penance make it go well." She grins there. "The High Speech, it helps with Magic, but not in public." she chuckle. "It's a complicated linguistic thing, i'm sure you'll be thrilled to throw yourself into that."

Harmony: "They'd better." Mary hums at Kay. "A new Mage needs a good reception and all." A pause as she colours slightly. "Err, pretend I didn't say that? I'm not always a very good Arrow." She rallies and nods to Alexis, slipping into a chair herself, or the couch if there's room. "High Speech is a true language, in that it's nigh impossible to lie in, or even give metaphor in. It's.. shit, I'm not the best at explaining this. It's a language deeper to the truth of how things are, tied into the Supernal. Which, well, there's a lot of ground to cover Alexis but you'll get advice and guidance from us and others there."

Alexis Bartram: "Guess I'm right at the start with a new discipline or three." Alexis sighs, "Thank you so much, all of you. You especially Mary. I think I would like to get to sleep now, though. Its been one hell of a long day."

Diamond: "I am so glad that things ended up working the way they did." she point to Alexis. "Let me show you the first guest room, it's right over this way." she stands from the couch "the beds are so comfortable."

Harmony: Mary smiles, nodding. "You're quite welcome, and, you deserve the chance for sleep." She stands, rubbing Kay's shoulder. "I'll see you both later on then. And it was good to meet you properly Alexis."

Diamond: "Don't eat all the cookies or I'm going to pout" The Necromancer threatens Mary as she gather a few things.

Alexis Bartram: Alexis gets up and wanders over to the guest room to crash, and is out like a light in only a few minutes.
