Arboretum of the Martyr's Tree

Log

Pavlichenko: It's Friday evening, and most of the wizards in the consilium have better things to be doing on a Friday evening than loitering in the arboretum. But apparently not Pavlichenko. Maybe he's sitting in for one the tree's tenders while they're off to the loo? Who knows. But at the moment he's in a folding chair, feet up on one of the brick facings of one of the arboretum's raised beds, and chair leaned back onto two legs. He's flipping a coin in his right hand, a rather sizeable silver coin from the looks of it, and chewing on a piece of raw root. Annise, maybe? His black and silver track suit and running shoes are just the perfect match for his silver necklaces and rings. He catches the coin after a spin, rolls it over the back of his knuckles, back and forth, back and forth, and then spins it into the air again, his attention focused on that fucking tree. Stupid mysteries.

Sirius: In theory there were other places that Sirius could have been, frequenter of the local music scene that he was, but the Warlock had decided to take a night off as it were and venture to the arboreum for a more relaxed evening. He was dressed neatly but casually in black jeans, boots and a grey t-shirt from a venue in Los Angeles that showed off the tattoo sleeve on his left arm, a thin leather necklace around his neck with whatever pendant was attached to it tucked under his shirt. Spotting a somewhat unfamiliar face he paused for a moment before giving Pavlichenko a nod in greeting. "Evening."

Lovelace: Somewhere else to be? Well, there probably were other places Moira could be, but the Tree was here and she had a whole new set of variables to think about regarding it, so where else would she want to be? She's dressed in her usual casual clothes - jeans and a slightly frayed gray t-shirt with the NASA logo printed on in. For once she doesn't have her bag with her. Instead she just has her phone out, attention on the screen as she walks in.

And almost walks into Sirius. "Oops, sorry," she says, managing to stop in time to avoid collision. Since that's forced her to look up, she notices Pavlichenko as well. "Hi there," she says with bright enthusiasm. "Anyone mind if I snap pics of the Tree?"

Sirius: Sirius turned to look upon she who almost used him as an unintentional roadblock, giving Moira a smile as he waived off the apology. "No worries, and no issues on my end. Things going alright?"(edited)

Lovelace: She shrugs. "More or less. Making due day to day. Still chipping away at the Tree things, y'know. How're you doing?"

Sirius: "Doing pretty good, all told. Keeping busy with work, got a possible recording project on the docket that I'm looking forward to, that kind of thing."

Lovelace: "Ooo, that's neat! What sort of recording is it?"

Sirius: "Something with a Philly-based band named Flout, if you've heard of them. They're a synth-pop-meets-prog-rock group; ran into their lead singer a couple days back and got to talking." He smiled, his memories of the interactions fond indeed. "Looking forward to seeing what comes of it."

Pavlichenko: Vasha snaps out of it eventually, casting a glance aside at Moira and her desire to snap shots of the tree. His shoulders shrug mildly within his track suit and his attention returns to the tree. "You've got cloud storage turned off on that, right? My bosses would be very angry at me if I was here when a picture of the tree wound up on a server in a Google colo." To put it mildly. He doesn't seem to be implying Moira would be that foolish. He just has to mention it, at the very least. "What do you plan to do with it?" He glances back over at Sirius and gives him a small chin up, "Hello. I am not certain we have had occasion to meet? I am Pavlichenko. Guardian. Path to Arcadia and so on. Firebird."

Little Fox: Waddle waddle waddle. Waddle waddle. Here come not one, but two skunks. Pap pap pap. A little line of black fur with white streaks down their backs. Pap pap pap.

Mei Lee: One of the two skunks pap pap paps in, looks around, then pounces on the other one before sprinting off toward the group of mages in a sort of 'tag! you're it!' kind of way.

Lovelace: "Of course not. I know the rules," Moria says, seemingly unoffended by the question. "But getting pics means I don't have to do all my measuring and formulas here. I do like going home some times." She swings her attention back to Sirius. "I think I've heard of them, but not actually heard any of their stuff." The incoming skunks draw a curious look from her, but little further comment.

Sirius: "Not yet, I don't think." Sirius nodded to Pavlichenko in return. "Sirius, Thearch of the Iron Gauntlet, and Farseeker for the Soulwardens. Good to meet you."

"They're pretty solid." He replied to Moira. The arrival of the skunks earned a curious look, although the pounce made him chuckle quietly. "Evening, you two..."

Pavlichenko: "Ah! The Soulwardens. I have heard good things. I've been invited to your sanctum for food and conversation at some point, even. I may have to take you all up on that at some point if it was serious. No pun intended." Vasha grins up at Jeremiah at the referenced pun, though it's a slight thing as the joke wasn't particularly clever. His head nods once at Moira's statement. "I use mind effects for a similar purpose. Reviewing memories after the fact. It's amazing what you don't notice that you noticed. The subconscious is a versatile thing." His musing on the mind ends with the waddling entrance of the skunks. He sighs a longsuffering sigh at the both of them. "They will let anyone in here these days." Tsk tsk.

Little Fox: The skunk that is 'tagged' falls over dramatically, tail up, as though it's about to expire. Oh no! But then it jumps back up and goes skitter-waddling after the other one. Apparently Friday night is 'let's be something new and play in the Arboretum' time for two of the Firebirds.

It's worth noting that the streaks on one of the skunks looks strange, a bit blobby, going around their arms, like Fox's ever-present backpack.

The sight of Pavlichenko makes that second skunk break off their chase, though, and run toward him, squeak-squeak-squeak-squeaker, like a squirrel talking to a himbo from a children's movie about llamas. Squeakysqueak!

Mei Lee: When no longer being chased, the tackler-skunk slows down a bit and wanders over to the conversation, where she sniffs around near the feet of the two people who aren't in her cadre, then she stops in front of the closest one, Moira, and stands on hind legs to offer one paw up like trying to shake.

Lovelace: Moira blinks a few times, then crouches down to shake the offered paw. "Hey there," she says. "I'm Lovelace, by the way, at least in these parts. Free Council, path of Aether, all that fun stuff. Pictures are easier to figure measurements from, even with magic." She straightens and shrugs. "And I still tend not to rely on magic when tech'll do."

Sirius: Sirius smirked at the light ribbing, giving a nod. "None taken. Look forward to having you over at some point, if that is the case." He glanced down at the Mei-skunk as she gave him a test sniff, the urge to offer a hand to sniff passed as she perched on Moira instead. "Not a bad idea, overall."

Pavlichenko: "Differing philosophies, I suppose. I don't want to carry any data around that can be compromised by the enemy which cannot be protected by a bullet in my own brain." Vasha's grim statement is spoken without any emotional investment one way or the other. One of those facts of life for his order, really. "Trained my brain for it. But you are correct. Overdependence on magic when mundane craft will do is a bit of hubris we could all do to reduce in our lives." Vasha glances down at the fox that comes squeak-squeaking in his direction. "Right, Fox?" Oh, snap. "Ah. This is Master Little Fox, Scion of the Children of the Tree on the Path to the Primal Wild. Also a Firebird. And that is Parhelion, one of the brace of Obrimoi that awoke recently. Fox's former apprentice and also a member of our cadre. She is likewise a Scion." He then boldly lies, "Fox has agreed to buy us all the first round of drinks this evening. Very kind of her." He cups a hand to his ear down at the skunk, "Two rounds? Okay."(edited)

Little Fox: Stomp stomp stomp squeak. Stomppppp. The backpackish skunk -- Fox, apparently -- stomps the ground and squeaks at Vasha, who undoubtedly doesn't know that what she's saying is: You're very confident in your bullshit for someone who is face to face with a fully-functional skunk, my heart. So confident. Stomp stomp squeak. Fox even shakes their tail in Vasha's general direction, and incidentally turns their butt toward him as they turn toward Sirius, offering him a chittering squeak of greeting.

Mei Lee: Mei the Skunk shakes Moira's hand gently with a little skunky paw with some squeaky sounds that only sound like pleased to meet you to people who happen to either be skunks or have Speak with Beasts going. Then she offers the paw to Sirius as well.

This kind of nonsense is what you get with technoshamans, apparently.

Lovelace: "Ooo, careful!" Moria says, watching Fox-skunk's antics. She might not be able to speak skunk, but she's watched nature documentaries. "Skunk spray in here's not going to be fun for any of us." She wrinkles her nose in overdramatic distaste. Then she turns slightly to snap a few more pictures of the Tree. "Most of my stuff's encrypted pretty well, but I suppose you have a point. Still, with magic I'm sure there's a way to rig up something that's wipe my data if I get offed."

Sirius: "Ah...good to see you both." Sirius nodded to Fox when she squeaked his way, then crouched down to take Mei's paw and give it a proper shake. Some might find it a little odd from the outside, but when one is in a cadre with a Thyrsus sometimes it be like that. "Glad to see you're settling in alright, Parhelion. Sirius, in case you don't recall; we didn't talk much the last time I saw you."

Pavlichenko: "My job is hunting Seers. So. I imagine it's more of a concern for me than for you. I'm not judging you. It's just interesting how one person's reasonable precaution is another's hyper-paranoia. You know?" Vasha glances back and up at Moira, shrugging his shoulders just a touch. "You probably could. A conditional trigger on a forces effect would do it. And even my precaution isn't fool proof. Mastery level life can restore brain function long enough to wipe me clean. But I keep that warded, too. Can never be too careful." Vasha fishes in his track jacket's pockets for a pack of cigarettes in German language packaging and shakes one out, plopping it into his mouth. "And don't worry about fox's stomping. She would never spoor near the tree. Bluster. Bluster! She will totally nail me in the parking lot on the way out, though." He grins slyly around his cigarette which remains unlit. "I do this whenever they don't include me in their shenanigans. Which is whenever they shenan."

Little Fox: It do be like that. Especially with a Thyrsus trained by an Orphan of Proteus. Fox stops stomping after a minute, and then turns back, sitting back on their hind legs and folding their little paws over his stomach. She's totally distracted, head tipped to one side as she squeaks a question at Vasha.

Mei Lee: Okay, I should turn back so I can actually have some conversation. Mei the Skunk say to Little Skunk in skunkese, after shaking Sirius's hand. She does dip her skunky head up and down in a 'yes' gesture to answer what he had just said.

Lovelace: Another shrug. "There's no security that's fool proof. Just gotta do the best we can." She takes another picture and then shoves the phone in the back pocket of her jeans as she makes her way over to an unoccupied bench. "So I know what I'm doing here, what's everyone else here for?"

Sirius: Sirius smirked a touch at the now-pouty Fox, standing from the crouch as he looked towards Moira at her question. "Came to relax somewhere that wasn't the house, honestly."

Pavlichenko: "Two of my Cadre call themselves children of this enigma. I am not from this city. Or this country. Or this continent. I have no attachment to it in either direction. Its importance to them is something I am trying to develop in myself. Which is difficult, because I'm basically a high functioning sociopath at this point. I look at it and I just see a weird tree. I don't dare scrutinize it, because if I did it wrong they would say we did it on purpose for some reason." Vasha glances up at Sirius and then hooks a thumb his way, "Actually I change my answer. I'm here because I don't want to be in the house. Forget the bit about dissociative personality disorders." He glances back to the tree, briefly down to the skunk, then back to the tree. He answers the skunk with a small shrug of the shoulders as the coin once more dances across the back of his knuckles. "Maybe later. I don't want to around other people."

Little Fox: Mei's squeak is taken seriously, and Fox squeaks: okay, and then releases the spell. Vasha won't need Speak With Animals unless he can't speak with the animal that is his affianced. The skunk at Vasha's feet sort of full-body yawns, stretching out and up until it becomes a small, grubby human with dirty black hair and brilliant green-gold eyes. The smile that she flashes at Sirius and Moira does not have human teeth. At all. They're sharp little fox teeth in a human mouth. "Hi. I wanted to be near the tree. I have some seeds to plant, which were a gift from a friend of mine, they brought them from Hawaii." But then he pushes herself to their feet and closes the distance to Vasha, who gets a kiss of greeting. "Later, then," they agree with him.

Mei Lee: Somehow or another one of the skunks turns into Mei, thankfully with clothing included since Little Fox is an Adept of Matter. "I'm here because I honestly just like being here, and Fox was coming over, so it seemed like a good plan," she explains, since that seems to be the night's topic. "Plus, I'm always glad when I get to meet new people. I do remember you, Sirius. Thank you for everything you did to help out during all that."

Lovelace: "There's a lot to be said for getting out of the house." Moira agrees. "And the Arboretum's always kinda peaceful so I get it." The sight of Fox's less than human teeth gives her a moment's pause, but she asks "What sort of seeds?"

Sirius: Vasha's initial answer led the Warlock's eyebrow to quirk upward as he found a convenient column or wall to lean against. Guardians gonna Guardian, it seems...

He nodded to Fox at the mention of the seeds, not seeming to be put off by the teeth. Moira had handled his next question so he looked to Mei, smiling quietly. "Very welcome. It's part of what we do, helping those with their eyes newly opened to reach their full potential."

Pavlichenko: He turns his face up to Fox when she comes to claim a kiss, removing the cigarette from his mouth so that he can return it properly. The cigarette goes back between his lips afterwards, though. Apparently having it there is helping forestall the need to go out and light it. For the moment, anyway. "We have the top floors of a high rise apartment building. It's ridiculous. I have to pack provisions to walk across the living room. There is something decidedly calming about this place, I will agree with that much. The smell of the plants. The humidity. Like being away from the city, but still present." Vasha then looks up to Mei and ticks off an official salute, "Sorry. I can't read you as well as I can Fox when she's like that. But it is good to see you again, little sister." The family resemblance is striking. In the sense that it isn't working.

Little Fox: Fox's teeth are less than human, and there's something definitely vulpine about her green eyes. Moira's pause? Fox notices, and she sort of -- shrinks -- a little bit. If she had her tail currently, it would droop. But. A moment later, she rallies, and drops herself onto Vasha's lap. "Oh, they're Ilima and Naupaka! Wonderful flowers," Fox explains, leaning against the surly Ukranian.

Mei Lee: "No worries," Mei says to Vasha with a shrug. "I got the point across that I was trying to get across to these two," she gestures at Jay and Moira. "Which was moistly the silliness of shaking hands with a skunk. Getting out of the house is nice, but I've been spending most of my time out of my house. I barely go to my apartment any more."

Lovelace: "I wish I had that much space!" Moira says with a sigh. "But then I'd probably just fill it with more junk, and it's just me, so..." she waves a vague hand. Which has the unfortunate effect of also making her catch Fox's reaction. She shifts on the bench, feeling suddenly self conscious. She's made a social mistake and knows it, but not what to do about it. "Some more flowers will be nice," she says, somewhat awkwardly.

Sirius: "It's not the oddest thing I've done, admittedly." Sirius smirked to Mei, giving her a little nod. "What all have you been working on, if you don't mind my asking?"

The back and forth between Fox and Moira didn't go unnoticed, mind, and he looked between the pair briefly before giving a brief "everything good?" sort of look.

Pavlichenko: Vasha tries to help. This will go swimmingly, no doubt.

He glances between Moira and Fox and back again and slides his arms about Fox's waist as she deposits herself into his lap. "Orphans of Proteus develop tells over time. The more they spend in their animal forms, the more distinct and obvious the tells become. Which is a celebration of difference, in its way. Striking, I think. Many of us change our souls, but ourselves? Such courage." Vasha smiles at this, seeming to think he's bridged the awkwardness with aplomb. He even nods to Sirius, even though it's not his place to do so.

Little Fox: "It's a lot of space," Fox agrees, adding, "I have been unhoused for the majority of my adult life, unless I've been living with my cabal." They drop her head onto Vasha's shoulder when he speaks, and stretches a little in his lap. There's nothing more to say about that except, "Yep."

Mei Lee: "After some recent conversations I had about Legacies, I've been thinking a little bit about possibilities there," Mei muses when that topic comes up. "I met a young Moros named Piera, who has apparently found a way to suffuse her soul with Death to the point that she's essentially undead, I guess? She said she's a Wraith of Epochs. It's something I didn't even know was possible to do, and now I'm wondering about how that might be done with Prime, instead." She flashes Sirius a smile. "As for what we're working on? Getting our sanctum set up as been a part of it, for certain."

Lovelace: Now Moira's really feeling awkward. She fiddles with a fold in her jeans for a long moment before finally saying, "Sorry, I didn't... I'm bad at people sometimes." She looks up and gives a half smile. "But you need a computer upgraded or complicated physics problems worked out, I can do that no problem."

Sirius: Sirius nodded to Vasha in return, along with a quick "well done" thumbs up. "I'm a part of the Illumined Path myself. Joined it not long after I got to Philadelphia."

"I can imagine...it took us a while to get our place set up, but then again we were also cleaning up after the guy who was there before us." He shook his head quietly. "Got it handled, but was still interesting, to say the least."

Pavlichenko: "I, on the other hand, am Красная гвардия." Which he does not translate, because that's the name. "Have been for ... some time now." Vasha looks up at the ceiling as though trying to tabulate the length of time. In the end he just shrugs his shoulders, "Blends together after a while. But, yes. Getting our sanctum settled. Rebuilding my arsenal and our resources locally. We lost... everything, really. When we fled Saint Petersburg. Everything, that is, except what mattered. So. We hope to be functioning as a cadre and able to put our weight behind causes very soon. Funding the arms for fighting the rats set us back a short while, but necessary." Vasha fixes Moira with a tight lipped smile, "So am I. So am I. You are sorry. I am horrible with people. Ask people, they'll tell you. Mei, am I horrible?" Vasha tilts his head her way at the question.

Little Fox: "You're not terrible with me," Fox points out, "But I'm not always a people." She smooches Vasha again and then gets up to wander over to a space some distance from the tree, where she sits down on the ground and starts quietly digging a hole with her hands. Like a Fox do. She does spend a lot of time here working on the garden. "We are settling again as a cadre, it is true. Added Parhelion and Anthelion to the Firebirds. And now we are complete in a way that did not understand it was incomplete." She's got a backpack on, her everpresent battered blue Jansport, and slings it off of her back, digging around in it for a small bag. Inside that bag are other baggies, where the seeds live.

Mei Lee: Mei gives Vasha a look like he's been getting into Leta's stash or something and offers a very firm, "no? I mean, you do a pretty good job of trying to convince people you are, including yourself, but no, you're actually pretty good with people. I don't think you'd be any good at your job if you weren't. Just not in the way they necessary want you to be, especially when you're 'off duty'," with the air quotes audible in her voice. "What's the Illumined Path?" she asks Jay curiously.

Lovelace: Moira's laugh is a tiny bit forced, but only a tiny bit. "Maybe I need to get myself a cadre and that would help." She shakes her head and then sensibly decides to shut the hell up before she digs herself in deeper.

Sirius: "We see enlightenment as a spectrum as much as physical light is and view the spaces between Sleeper, Sleepwalker and Awakened as more of a grey area than hard divisions. Overall we work towards helping others see the Path of enlightenment and understand what they see, to help guide them to their full potential."

Pavlichenko: "I knew I didn't haze you hard enough," Vasha complains over at Mei as she accuses him of being a fundamentally decent person. How dare. Vasha hooks a thumb her way and confides towards Sirius, "She's new." Not that he's unaware. "Where's Anthelion. She'd agree with me." Vasha looks back to Moira and his eyebrows lift just a touch, "Yes. Yes. That is... yes. Safety is very important. What was your path again? I'm sorry, I've been preoccupied with the tree."

Little Fox: Mei gets a knowing look from Fox as she sits on the ground, digging and planting neatly. Her attention is largely focused on her work, but she looks up at Moira. "Actually, it really does help, having a cadre. Not because you're terrible or anything, Moira, because you're not, but because a cadre balances and smooths us out. We're all very full of ourselves. Literally. Our souls are Awakened, they take up a lot of space." Their fingers splay over the mounds of dirt she's made, and her attention is distracted now, because she's whispering to her little plant children.

Mei Lee: "I want to ask you more about the metaphysics of that, and how the shaping of your soul plays into it, but maybe another time and place?" Mei asks Jay with a laugh. "I find the topic a really interesting one, sorry." She gives Vasha a smug look, shoots a pair of finger-guns at him, and says, "of course you didn't haze me hard. You're a fundamentally decent person. They're right that having a cadre seems to be a good idea, though. Having people to lean on, and having people leaning on you, are both stabilizing things for people."

Lovelace: "Makes sense," Moira says with a nod. "I just had bad luck with my last one, so I've been kinda hesitant, y'know? Once burned and all that. " She flashes a brief smile. "And I'm Obrimos for what it's worth."

Sirius: "Sounds good to me, and no worries." Sirius nodded to Mei with a smile. "Just let me know when and where."

"Sorry to hear that." He gave Moira a sympathetic look. "I was a solitaire for most of my time in Los Angeles, and for a bit once I came here until I got in with Hearth, Harmony and Diamond. They've definitely helped over the years, knowing I have them at my back and being able to combine our respective knowledges towards whatever we may have come up."

Pavlichenko: "Is the story behind your burning one I should politely inquire after, possibly away from this many people, or politely let slide and never speak of again? Because that sounded like it could be simply a statement or a request for help." Vasha goes and outs himself as a fundamentally decent person with that question, while pointedly ignoring Mei. He ignores Mei so loudly, too. It becomes teasing of its own. Call him decent, will you. "Because there are times I want to hold Anthelion's head in the toilet bowl and flush it repeatedly, but it beats being alone against the Iron Pyramid, you know? I can forgive many things from someone who enjoys chain guns and high explosives as much as I do." A beat. "But more seriously. If you want to talk about bad things, I've been accused of being a decent person to dump on, because my advice tends to be practical and most bad things just sort of roll off my back as not particularly notable but for their effects."

Little Fox: "I just like people," Fox comments from across the way. "People are wonderful little universes full of infinite potential. I like them." Her voice is distracted, though, because she's forming slow mudras over the soil, and that's where most of her attention is focused. Green shoots begin to struggle out of the soil as though watched via time lapse. "All of our cadre are truly good people. Otherwise they wouldn't be Firebirds. Even if they deny that."

Mei Lee: Mei takes the way Vasha ignores her as comedy gold and lets out a laugh. "For me personally, I get people too well to dislike them. Even people who I disagree with on a passionate, fundamental, life or death level, I tend to be too good at understanding why and how they got to where they are to hate them. Even if they're dangerous people who need to be put down for the safety of everyone else." She gives Moira an encouraging smile. "I'm pretty sure any of us would be willing to listen to you complain about the situation, or offer advice if you wanted. But it's your story to tell or not, too."

Lovelace: Moira waves a dismissive hand. "We were all young and dumb and full of our own power" She shrugs, but there's an edge there. "Thanks for the offer though." She looks about to say more, but then jerks slightly as her cell phone buzzes. She fishes it out and grimaces. "Gah, sorry. Gotta go. Damned thing's nearly outa juice. Again."

Sirius: "No problem." Sirius nodded to Moia, giving her a smile. "Have a good night."

Pavlichenko: "See you around, Lovelace. I'll ask around for Cadres in search of an Obrimos for you. But only smart middle-aged people." Vasha's foray into being an openly decent person comes to an end as Moira turns to go. He slowly turns his head to watch her go, but who knows his motivations for that long tracking of her progress. When she's well and truly gone, he turns back around and pushes his chair back again, up and off the ground and resumes the rolling of his coin over the back of his knuckles. "No one tell her Obrimos can charge cell phones with their brains or she'll be unstoppable."

Little Fox: "Take care of yourself, Lovelace," Fox offers, and for her, that's probably not an idle thing that she says. No, really, take care of yourself. She's still concentrating on her work with the plants, but she does glance over at Vasha and smirk, for whatever reason, before looking back at what she's growing.

Mei Lee: "Nice to meet you, have a good night," Mei says with a friendly, single motion wave. She then gives Vasha a terrible impression of a shocked look and says, "we can?"

Sirius: Sirius chuckled quietly at Vasha's comment, shaking his head. "I have a feeling she knows."

Pavlichenko: "Oooh. She's mastered the polite lie." Vasha sounds impressed, giving another glance over his shoulder to where the woman has disappeared. His eyebrows twitch up, impressed. Or pretending to be impressed. Who knows with him. He folds his hands back up over his stomach, uncrosses his feet and recrosses them for comfort, resuming his staring at the tree. "You've had your hands full lately, Sirius. You and your cadre, I mean. As have we. We might do to share our notes on current events. I don't necessarily trust the powers that be to information share to the extent the constituent cadres would find acceptable. I say we start cutting out the middle-man."

Mei wins herself a grin, "That's what our last Obrimos told me. Unless you are politely lying." Vasha fixes Mei with a suspicious squint.

Little Fox: "You can charge a phone with your brain with Forces, yes," Fox totally misses the fact that this is all a joking back and forth between their cadremates, because she's focused on growing green things. "Look at my little planties." Yes, she said 'planties.' Fox is a very important Master of Life, didn't you know?

Mei Lee: "You mean Pheme?" Mei asks with a smirk. "You almost done over there, Fox? I think I'm in the mood for a nice hot tub soak, and then bed." She gives Jeremiah a smile. "It was good to see you again. I would like to learn more about your Legacy some time, if that's something you're willing to talk about."

Sirius: Sirius looked towards where Fox was working, smiling as he saw the plants coming up. "Looks great."

"Oh, definitely." He nodded to Mei, pulling his phone out. "Let me get your number and we can set up a when and where.
