 The lesser convocation regularly meets every three years on the vernal equinox. It was last held in the spring of 2018, and is set to recur again in the spring of 2021. Extraordinary Convocations of the Lesser are called on occasion to address the appearance of a particular threat to the Awakened nation such as the discovery of a seer cell operating within a particular consilium, or a nest of scelesti terrorizing the area.

 Despite the infrequent meeting of the convocation, the Magisterium of the Lesser Convocation of the Northeast remain in frequent contact and discourse. News travels fastest between the Magisters, it seems. If for no other reason that because dealing with a threat early means they only have to put on robes and chant in unison every three years or so.
