Tahmina Ashtifar has been in Philadelphia since a few decades before the Sakima's coup, and it's well known that the two are close friends. She's one of the oldest vampires still remaining in the city, though nobody's certain whether she or the Sakima is the older of the two. A bit of a mother hen, it's common knowledge for vampires in the city that her door is almost always open to those who need someone to talk to, even outside of the Ordo Dracul where she serves as Confessor. These traits end up meaning that quite a few young kindred in the city who don't have the guidance of a Sire for one reason or another join her family, and when many of them choose to move on to other families later she typically reacts with pride for their growing beyond the need for her help, rather than taking offense.
RP Hooks
Daeva Clan Head - As the clan head for the Daeva, any members of that clan who have official concerns to be raised to the Caucus would typically go to her first.
Zoroastrian - Good thoughts, good words, good deeds. They're principles she tries to live by. It makes her unusual among kindred, especially elders, and her resulting high humanity tends to make people surprised when they learn she's an elder.
Confessor - Her role as Confessor within the Ordo Dracul means that members of the covenant who need someone to talk to about the psychological burdens of their studies can come to her, and rely on her discretion. It's common knowledge in the city that people outside of the Ordo Dracul can do the same, and history has proven that she keeps secrets that people tell her.
The Arts - Tahmina fully admits to having absolutely no talent for the arts, but a love of them, and is always curious to learn about people's projects, or to support them in cases where people have ideas that out scale their resources.
Spirit Possession - There's a rumor that Tahmina can help in cases of possession by ephemeral entities. Whether this is more than rumor is unclear.
