Lost in Time: A childhood in the 17th century meant Anneliese took longer than most Changelings to accept that she had escaped Arcadia, and that there was no going back to her old life.
If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next: Anneliese might not be especially good at fighting personally, but she can - and does - still work as a medic to support those on the front lines combating fascism.
Courtless: Despite having only recently emerged from the Hedge, Anneliese is yet to pledge herself to a court, leaving her open to recruitment bribes and/or threats.
