With this sip from Hygieia's cup I swear by the Wyrd, with all beneficent gods, goddesses, or other ideals that I hold sacred as my witnesses, that I will carry out according to my ability and judgment, this oath and this indenture to the sworn members of the Shackamaxon Freehold.
To hold all Aesculapians as siblings and to teach them all the Healing arts, if they want to learn it, without fee or indenture; to impart precept, oral instruction, and all other instructions to those who have taken this Aesculapians Oath.
I will use treatment to help the sick according to my ability and judgment, to heal and protect the Freehold of Shackamaxon. I will have the humility to know my own limits, and not be shamed to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery.
Into whatsoever houses I enter, I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know.
Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Now if I carry out this oath, and break it not while I partake of Hygieia's cup, may I gain for ever reputation among all men for my life and for my art; but if I break it and forswear myself, may the opposite befall me.
As all life grows and changes in time, if I no longer desire to be bound to these obligations I will wash my hands with the water of Hygieia's cup and publicly renounce my bond, which shall free me from the obligations of this oath.
