Petra has been a member of the local freehold for a few years now. She didn't emerge from the Hedge in Philadelphia but she has slowly carved out a niche for herself and doesn't talk about where she came from. Petra works as a paramedic in the city, and she's always thrilled to help freeholders navigate the hospitals or tend to their wounds herself with both mundane and mystical means. She's shy and sometimes hesitant to reach out to others, but she doesn't intimidate easily. When invited to participate in a given activity she is an enthusiastic participant and always willing to try something new. She isn't (usually) a stereotypical Spring hedonist with public displays of excess, but she revels in the joys of self-healing, growing, and becoming a real, whole person again.
Petra saw Guy Dagenham fight once, and now they're dating. It's a slow and careful relationship. She isn't terribly enamoured of the idea of being anyone's food after what happened to her in Arcadia but since she's a Leechfinger, she empathizes with his vampiric nature.
After Party - Petra owns an old Class C RV with the name After Party cheerfully stenciled on the bumper. It doesn't look like much but she has scrubbed and sanitized the inside to within an inch of its life, and turned it into a rough multi-bed ambulance. It's not as well equipped as a real ambulance but she's collected every scrap of medical supplies she can afford to buy or beg. If you're in trouble or planning shenanigans that may end poorly, she's always happy to come help.
A Bit Desperate - Petra has never been one of the cool kids, and she tends to be rather excessively eager to help out, fit in, and belong. She's built a new life and wants to find a new family to go with it.
Tiny, but Fierce - The little bird is a healer, but she's fameously nearly unflappable and not afraid of getting dirty or bloody. She's willing to try almost anything, and will happily join expeditions into the hedge, dreams, or anywhere else when it comes down to it. She also tends to get enthusiastically riled watching Summer sparring sessions and fascinated by Winters talking strategy and tactics.
Mask: Petra is tiny, barely 4'5" with sharp, delicate looking features. She has rich brown hair, eyes, and skin that are all nearly the same shade, and has the muscled build of an athlete. A very small athlete.
Mien: Petra is covered in tiny feathers nearly indistinguishable from her skin, and her hair is a sleek crest of larger feathers. Occassionally, such as when she's cold, she will puff out her feathers in a rather comical manner. Her eyes are pitch black from pupil to sclera, and her feet have long birdlike toes, and her fingers no longer have nails but sharp orange talons.
Mantle: The air is thick with the scent of the earth, and the sounds of the surrounding nature seem more pronounced. The sound of leaves rustling, water dripping, and birds singing seem to cut through the mundane world and be more present in her presence.
