Jane Martingale "This space for rent"       Overview Appearance: A muscular woman about 5'9", Jane is usually seen in casual clothing, without sleeves if the weather will allow it. She has dark brown eyes and short black hair in an undercut, and doesn't tend to smile much. There are usually signs that Jane's been in a fight lately visible--bruises she doesn't want to explain, old scars, her knuckles often being swollen and bruised. She carries a small black leather backpack instead of a purse. Personality: Jane is brusque, surly and a little bit mean on the surface, the sort of person who puts up nice thick walls to prevent people from getting too close to her. However, once you do get past those barriers, the person who she is underneath is fiercely protective of the people who are 'hers'. Public History Graduated high school locally in 2013; dropped out of community college a year later Appeared in local underground fighting rings under the name Jade Marlowe in 2014 Began working at David Fuller's bookstore in 2017   RP Hooks Hit Me Like You Did the First Time - Jade Marlowe is an up-and-coming fighter in the underground scene. She's a scrappy fighter, who seems to be built wholly of muscle and snark. She's known for fighting dirty, and has been heard to say, in the past, that the reason she's not participating in more formally sanctioned events is that 'it wouldn't be fair', whatever that means. Guy Who Got a Headache and Accidentally Saves the World - Those who are in touch with certain people in the occult community, such as David Fuller and Kayla Jackson, may have encountered Jane before. While she's clearly not a great researcher of occult phenomena, she maintains contact with those who are, for her own reasons. Like, you know, being psychic herself. Fight Test - While Jane is not someone who goes out of her way to use her psychic powers whenever possible (that would be amazingly costly, in terms of Willpower), she sort of is looking for opportunities to test the limits of what she can do, against someone who is aware going into things that this may hurt.
