Custom Fighting Styles

Two Handed Broadweapons ( to ; Style)

Prerequisites: Str 3, Weaponry 2 Athletics 3


Effect: Your character is skilled in the use of any of a varying number of two handed long weapons. Greatswords, axes, pollards, and similar large, two handed weapons which deliver 3 or more damage qualify for this style.



  • Hanging Guard (): Your character puts her weapon between herself and the foe, requiring engagement to reach you. You may sacrifice one level of weapon damage rating for +1 in defense. This maneuver is only possible if your opponent acts before you in the round.


  • Force the Lane (): Your opponent has hesitated and you have pressed the attack. Roll an attack as normal. If your opponent ends the round anywhere other than where you are attempting to maneuver them, they suffer damage damage as normal. This attack ignores two level of armor as though it were AP2. This maneuver may only be used following an opponent’s attack. Often preceded by the Hanging Guard.


  • Weapon Bind (): You have learned how to use your weapon’s superior mass and unusual proportions to control your enemy’s weapon. If your defense reduces your opponent’s attack pool to 0, they are disarmed. This *can* be combined with Hanging Guard.


  • Mordhau (): Your opponent focuses on the blade of your weapon, and so you attack with the handle, haft, hilt, or pommel. Whenever you successfully dodge, deliver any additional successes rolled over those necessary to your opponent as bashing damage.


  • Pike Sweep (): With all your might, you sweep your weapon before you in an attempt to clear your path or cut off some heads. Spend a willpower. You make make an attack on three targets in front of you using the rules of medium burst fire. If they have a weapon of any sort of size 3 or larger in hand, that weapon receives the damage rolled as an attack against its structure. The target may avoid this by suffering the attack on themselves instead.
