| Taio Sachiko was never going to have a normal life. From a young age, her destiny indicated she was bound for great things. She entered the Cryptopoly of the Sun, and by age twelve was well on her way to the training necessary to make her a priestess at the temple of Amaterasu in Kyoto. She awoke at the age of 16 when her predecessor was killed fighting Acamoth over the lunar lagrange.
For five years she has been fighting as one of the Spirit Defenders, herself known as Dosei no Seirei, wearing her legendary armor and wielding the great hammer of Saturn, the Moth Maiden and Leaden Lady defends humanity with determination, strength, and tremendous resilience. She is the most aggressive of the five's front line fighters, favoring to let her hammer do the talking for her.
On stage she is a vibrant, smiling, bright and cheerful presence. Offstage, however, she is an incredibly withdrawn and quiet girl. This may have something to do with the ghosts that tend to follow her about, or perhaps just one in particular who looks an awful lot like the group's last Acanthus, Haruko. Perhaps a trip to the US will be just what is needed to knock Sachiko out of her quiet shell, and out of the routine of touring and battling.

- Japan - Sachiko was born and raised in Japan, spending much of her life in Kyoto at a girl's school there. Until very recently, a weekend in Tokyo was the definition of exciting travel. Now, Sachiko and her band are in the United States! In Philadelphia! It's all very exciting.
- Music / Heliopause - Sachiko is the backup singer and bassist for the Japanese all girl metal quintet, Heliopause. If you're a fan of metal from overseas, you've probably heard their stuff.
- Silver Ladder - Sachiko is an adherent of the path of Amaterasu, which is to say she is a silver ladder. She seems much more out of place here in the US as a Silver Ladder member than she did back home in Kyoto, and we'll leave it at that.
- Mathematics - Sachiko will listen to you talk about higher maths for hours, especially if you're particularly intelligent. Can you help her with her calculus?
- College Student - Sachiko is trying to balance the cause of galactic liberty with her study load, which has only gotten more difficult since she's having to become a student abroad and try and complete something *like* a degree here in the US before completing her studies back in Japan.
- The Spirit of Jupiter - Sachiko was chosen to be the spirit of Saturn, one in a long line of elite warriors selected to safeguard the Astral Realms and the dreams of humanity from the ravages of the Abyss and the predations of the enemies of Amaterasu. With the power of understanding, they stand united against the darkness; five girls, one mission.

- Long Term Nimbus - A tendency for milk to spoil around her faster than usual.
- Immediate Nimbus - A plane of potentia circles around Sachiko in a ring, often splitting into two rings and spinning around her in opposing directions, or flipping about her in a dance of color and energy. (-2 Composure, -2 Resolve)
- Signature Nimbus - A tendency for the object to feel cooler or more damp to the touch than it should be.
