Player Profile

  1. Player Name/Pronouns: Solstice, they/them
  2. Character name and pronouns: Jane Martingale, she/her or they/them; Mearcstapa, he/him
  3. Content warnings required or triggers to avoid in RP
    1. Nazis or the Holocaust (strong generational trauma, will throw me out of 'play' mode and into panic)
    2. Harm/violence toward pregnant women; graphic birth scenes; NPCs whose defining feature is their pregnancy, especially at a loss of their personal agency (allow me to avoid this, please)
    3. Graphic descriptions of maggots. Casual mention is fine, but gifs, videos, detailed description are a strong squick
    4. Homophobia/transphobia in plots (warn)
  4. Experiences or topics I'd like to engage
    1. "Look, I found the plot, let me bring it to you all!" (most likely with Mearcstapa at the moment)
    2. Heist plots/scenes (especially with Mearcstapa)
    3. Fighting scenes (especially with Jane)
    4. Scenes that involve deep meaningful conversations about the supernatural, plot development, etc. I can get tired of fluffy casual coffeeshop stuff, and like to sink my teeth into the themes of the Chronicles of Darkness
  5. Experiences or topics I want to avoid
    1. I do not want either of my characters to be blood bound or enthralled (especially ghouled, in the case of Jane) without extensive OOC discussion with the other player. In general, assume this is a no, unless you and I have known one another for a long time
    2. I am a sex-repulsed asexual IRL, and will always fade-to-black if a scene gets sexy
    3. Any instance of a character falling instantly in love with mine; relationships are squishy and messy and realism regarding that suits me better than something perfect and instant
    4. Very linear plots with One True Answer; I strongly prefer a sandbox to a railroad
  6. You can make me feel included as a player by...
    1. Having your character ask questions about mine
    2. Reaching out for smaller group/individual scenes. I can't live on large coffeeshop/bar scenes alone!
    3. Coming up with interesting ways our characters could meet up, based on either of our RP hooks
