Disciplines: Animalism, Dominate, Resilience and Protean

Bloodline Gift

Medusa was taken from the world by those who feared her power and felt belittled by her grace. Mortal myths tout her murderers as heroes, but the Gorgons know better: through them she will reign again, for within them lies the key to her kingdom. All Gorgons can inject their vitae into any target they bite, like a snake would, and such dose provokes the same effects as if the target had imbibed it.

Bloodline Bane

The world the Gorgons are destined to rule rejects their very presence, the blessings of Medusa refused by betrayers and mortals who have forgotten the old ways. Without a serpent in contact with her person, a Medusa suffers a –3 penalty on all Discipline dice pools and may not spend Vitae to augment Physical dice pools. This is a supernatural fact of the Gorgon Requiem and cannot be cured or bought off. In addition, as the Vitae of a Gorgon grows closer to its ancestral state and further from its mortal origins, her physical body changes subtly.

Devotions

Serpent Locks (Protean ••••, Dominate •)

This Devotion allows the Gorgon to choose a unique Unnatural Feature when using Protean. This feature turns the Gorgon’s hair into a nest of snakes that allows the user to target a number of individuals with Dominate equal to their Blood Potency with a single action.

This Devotion costs 3 Experiences.

Gaze of the Mother (Dominate ••)

This Devotion enhances Mesmerize, allowing the Gorgon to paralyze a target with her gaze. Each success on the activation roll imposes a -1 penalty on all Physical actions by the target, as well as to Defense and Speed. A Gorgon may continue to roll for Mesmerize on successive turns but a target may not be affected by Gaze of the Mother for more turns than the Gorgon has Blood Potency + Dominate. The penalty imposed by Gaze of the Mother does not go away if the victim takes damage.

This Devotion costs 1 Experience.

Serpentine Union (Protean ••, Animalism ••)

The Gorgons are seldom seem without a snake on them. Some say it is in honor to their progenitor or to showcase status. There is also another reason. Whenever a Gorgon is in contact with a Ghouled snake she may meld with the creature, gaining power and outing her own supernatural nature as a repitilian monster like her progenitor.

 Cost: 2 vitae

 Action: Instant

 Dice Pool: None

While Serpentine Union is active, the vampire's Predatory Aspects are instantly manifested as Armor, Aquatic and Extra Sense. She may add her Retainer's dots as Physical Attribute dots, in any combination, up to her Blood Potency limits, and her Size increases by one. This power lasts a scene.

This Devotion costs 2 Experiences.

Blood of the Gorgon (Resilience •••)

With this power, the vampire transmutes a portion of her vitae into a dose of mystic toxin, potentially capable of incapacitating or killing kine and Kindred alike. Aged Gorgons are rumored to have no Vitae in their bodies at all — only a vicious mixture of poisons.

 Cost: 1 vitae

 Action: Instant

The poisonous blood may be applied to a melee weapon with an instant action or delivered reflexively through a bite attack. The toxin has a Toxicity equal to the Gorgon’s dots in Stamina and it affects Kindred and kine alike. Damage is lethal to living beings, and destroys vitae in Kindred instead of dealing damage. A Gorgon can store a number of doses of toxin in her body equal to her Blood Potency, and they all become inert come dawn if not used. Each dose only causes the effects once before vanishing from the target's body, and Kindred may replace Resolve for Blood Potency in order to resist the poison.

This Devotion costs 2 Experiences.
