Bones From Bread

Note as of 12/12/22 this contract is not yet ICly rediscovered and cannot yet be purchased. Once the contract is ICly rediscovered, this line will be removed and it can be purchased.

While there's certainly something to be said about grinding bones to make bread, this contract is often a much more reasonable way for an enterprising Fee Fi Fo Fum sort to get in a good, intimating meal without concern for all the reasons they shouldn't be eating what they're eating.

Effects: While Gristlegrinders can swallow just about anything whole, chewing their meals is a different story. The changeling lets out a hearty chuckle and digs into whatever meal they so choose, This contract handles the details of letting them chew and swallow whatever food they wish to consume unscathed. Fine china, barbed wire wrapped around drumsticks, a literal glass full of razor blades chewed and swallowed - anything's fair game without harm to the user. Notably, this contract is of no help in actually digesting the objects consumed if the Lost is not a Gristlegrinder, but it does ensure that the process of eating itself results in absolutely no harm to the user. Non-Gristlegrinders may have a rather interesting time in the restroom the next day. Each dot of Size chewed and swallowed requires one Glamour and one instant action.

This contract's protection does not function in combat and offers no protection whatsoever from meals deliberately intended to inflict harm on the eater, whether poison or living creatures fighting back.

Ogre: The Terrible may roll Intimidation reflexively once per turn spent eating their forbidden snack, targeting any single individual observing their meal. This does not function during combat.

Beast: When unobserved, Beasts utilizing this contract also enjoy the effects of the Destroyer merit. This also does not function during combat.

Loophole: The Changeling loudly declares "Fee Fi Fo Fum" before beginning her meal, breaking any concealment rolls, contracts or effects.
