Iris Drake is, in many ways, a force of nature. A lot of it is just the attitude that comes with knowing that not only are they amazing but that everyone should recognize just how awesome they are -- in other words, being a dragon. The fact that they've got the talent and sheer personality to back up their self-confidence more often than not certainly doesn't hurt... or doesn't help, depending on perspective. It has led to them becoming a well known presence in the modern world, though more in certain circles than in others.
As an internet celebrity of notable renown and an advocate for social change, they're well known in the sorts of circles that do things like watch YouTube videos or care about issues like social equality... on either side of the argument. They're the kind of person who works to change the lives of oppressed and disadvantaged people wherever they find a cause to fight for, and who makes a lot of enemies out of the people who oppose the things Iris fights for.
Being a dragon, they laugh at the death threats and not-so-secretly hopes someone will try. Until they do, they'll just go on being their awesome self.

- Changeling - Iris spent a long time in Arcadia, and nearly as long back in the mortal world since their return. At their high Wyrd they're more fae than human at this point, but they're also rather fond of the mortal world and the promises it brings, and a champion of everyone who dwells within it as their preferred realm. At least, as long as they aren't hurting others in the process. On the other hand, they're not so terribly human any more themself, and tends to think more like legends suggest a dragon would, rather than like your typical human-variety person.
- Dragon - Of the feathered, brilliantly colored kind — more Quetzalcoatl than Bahamut — but a dragon none the less. That nature fuels a good deal of their mindset, from arrogance and audacity to a need to gather a hoard of wealth for no other reason than that they can (and, since they're awesome, they deserves it don't they?). Yes, they even sleeps on a pile of treasure.
- Magician - Iris is a world renowned magician of the card tricks and pulling rabbits from a hat variety. They don't perform big shows, they doesn't go on world tours, nothing like that, but anyone who knows anything about the world of stage or street magic knows who they are. Their specialty is card mechanics, and it's widely thought that there may be nobody in the world better than they are... even when they don't cheat with Changeling magic. Despite that, they tend to do street magic (with many youtube videos), small shows with smaller audiences (and outrageous ticket prices that sell out almost instantly), or turning up when there are prizes to be won in competitions.
- Internet Celebrity - Iris has wholeheartedly embraced the strange world of internet fame, and is well known on Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, and pretty much anywhere else with social media followings to be won. They post regularly, make outrageous amounts of money for essentially no work at all, and often use that fame as a platform to push for social change. They have been known to personally get involved when fans are going through difficult times due to persecution for who they are, from simply mentioning their GoFundMe when someone needs help to paying for lawyers to represent people who need representation.

Iris is on the tall side, but not inordinately so. They have a slender build that seems like it should leave them bordering on gangly instead of graceful, but they have so much natural grace it makes the combination arresting and alluring, rather than awkward. Their eyes, a shade of hazel that often appears to be other colors in different light, tend to regard the world around them with a constant amusement, and the wild sprawl of curls dyed a mix of pale violet, blue, and silver further suggests at a lack of absolute seriousness.
Mien:
To say that Iris is brightly colored is a bit of an understatement, covered as they are in either shimmering, polychromatic scales or rainbow-hued feathers. Even their eyes, with vertical slitted pupils, scintillate through every shade and hue as the light hits them from different angles, and the sharply pointed spiraling horns that sweep back from their forehead shift through the visible spectrum from base to tip with each spiral they make.
Aside from looking like they were barfed up by Quetzalcoatl after he got way too drunk on distilled rainbows, Iris has the kind of figure that magazine covers suggest to women they should be willing to kill for, even if the women on those covers generally only manage with airbrushing what Iris came to at great personal cost. That said, there are a couple of notable exceptions: first there are the wings that are usually held tucked tightly against their back, nestled in as well as a bird's. Second, there's the whip-slender tail, as dazzling multicolored as the rest of them. And third, the thing about serpents (and, apparently, dragons) is that they're reptiles, and what need do reptiles have to breasts? If they have any under the plumage that covers their chest, they're possibly too small to really count.
Also, their razor sharp carnivore teeth are the kind of thing that dentists have nightmares about, and the talons on the ends of their fingers and toes would probably leave all but the most careful manicurists in need of some stitches. Fortunately, their nails seem to benefit/suffer from the same over-use of color that the rest of them does, and thus come pre-painted.
