It fell off a truck: If you need something that you don't want traced to you with a decent price tag, James is your go to guy. And Even if you didn't buy it from him, he might buy it from you to sell to someone else as long as it isn't too hot, or even if you need it repaired by someone who spent nearly two decades working on guns, he won't charge you too much for it.

Penny Billiards and Nickle Poker: One of the first things James did when he got into to town was look for the local pubs with regular games and decent opponents. His luck is astonishing, and some people won't play with him anymore, so he's always looking for a friendly game. With stakes, of course, if just low ones.

Weekly Meetings: He's got his five year coin. He doesn't talk about the times when drinking was one of his favorite things. But he's dry now, and doesn't mind being around other people when they drink, he just needs a glass of water and that's all.

A walk among the tombstones: Occasionally, James can be found taking a walk in the veterans section of one of the graveyards on the more modest side of town, thumbing the coin he has around his neck. It usually takes some prodding to actually get him to realize someone is talking to him.
