Ylva Theodulus: It was close to midnight by the time the talker finished.

Mark had led tonight. He is really doijg very well at it. He doesn't have any official training because half the people here won't trust that. But he does have a life of being houseless and on some pretty nasty stuff.

Ylva for her part had been sitting in the corner doing paper work. She likes to sit in on these occasionally so it's not odd that she chose to do so today.

She is wearing what is essentially a dressing gown to cover up how much skin is showing. Can't be a distraction at work. le sigh.

Daniel had gotten a message during the meeting to stay afterwards so they could chat. As it was wrapping up Ylva was paying closer attention to see if he would actually stay and talk to her.

Daniel Hawthorne: Daniel had remained quiet for most of the meeting, engaging when asked but otherwise content to listen. He knew well the impact that his bloodline had on most people so he wasn't planning on lingering after the meeting ended, but Ylva's message changed that particular thought.

Once everyone else cleared out the Haunt headed to where Ylva was sitting, giving her a nod. "Evening."

Ylva Theodulus: Ylva stands up still wrapped and extends a hand.

"Hi Daniel. I'm Ylva. Nice to meet you. Thought it was important we had a little chat afterwards. Can you come up to my office ? It's secure if you are worried about people over hearing."

Daniel Hawthorne: "We've met before, although it's been a while." He took the offered hand and shook it. "Lead the way."

Ylva Theodulus: "My apologies. I meet too many people these days."

As she starts walking the dressing gown is left on the desk revealing booty shorts, ripped fishnets and a crop top that leaves like a teeny bit to the imagination.

Once they reach her office she takes a seat behind the desk gesturing to the seats on the other side.

"Im glad you came. I hope it was useful in some way."

Daniel Hawthorne: "It was right after when you got back, as I recall. Wager you were dealing with a lot at that point."

He took a seat on his side of the desk once they reached the office, giving a nod. "It was, yes. It's something I've known about myself for a while now but never really...dealt with it."

Ylva Theodulus: "Ah. Yes that would make sense. Its been a wild year." A bit of a raised eyebrow and a chuckle at that. "Wow its been a year already."

She nods her head. "Whilst not the same I dealt with a similar addiction after returning and it took a lot to manage."

Daniel Hawthorne: "I've been able to avoid it for the majority of my Requiem thus far, and a situation came up recently that brought it back to the fore." He replied, his thumb lightly rubbing the side of his finger. "I thought it wouldn't be that bad, but I was more rattled than I expected."

Ylva Theodulus: A nod of her head. "I understand. I ended up trying to eat the Woman that I love when I first saw her. So. Yeah."

She pulls at her stockings a bit before continuing. "On that note. Just wanted to bring up a few ground rules. Almost nobody here knows what I am or what you are. Vinny works in the kitchen from time to time and Klaire comes by on occasion but that is it. In regards to feeding. If you need it and you can you may feed on me."

A bit of a blush like that is a desire for her part rather than his.

"Other than that no feeding in the center please. These people have been through enough."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Of course. I have my own sources for that." He nodded quietly. "I also know the impact that those of my particular line have on those untouched by the blood, so I won't linger long enough to cause anyone discomfort."

Ylva Theodulus: "Does that affect me the same? For my own comfort."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Not usually, no."

Ylva Theodulus: She nods her head. "Thats good to know."

Then she adds. "Is there anything you want to talk about. I understand that you cant often talk about your. Nights? Is that the right word for it."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Things have been going smoothly enough barring this rising back up, honesty. Work has been steady and my own studies have been fruitful."

He sat back in his seat, mulling a moment before he continued. "I'll admit that I've thrown myself into my work to avoid focusing on the call to indulge, as it were, which I know isn't a healthy way to handle it. Do you have any other suggestions on what to do in those situations?"

Ylva Theodulus: She laughs hollowly at that. "Its about how I handled it so it tracks."

A moment of thought before she continues. "Do you have people around you that are safe to be around in those moments. That will stop you before you lose it. I had a close friend who was able to keep me safe from myself and them when I was feeling that way."

Daniel Hawthorne: "I do. My sister has been a big help on that front."

Ylva Theodulus: "Is she aware of what you are? Of the danger to her?"

Daniel Hawthorne: "She is. She's the only one out of my family who stayed at my side when I became what I am."

Ylva Theodulus: A nod of her head. "Im sorry to hear that. Family should be that which supports you."

Her words bitter towards her own blood family. "I found reconnecting with people to be the biggest step towards control. Re learning that we are not so diffirent. Lost and Humans. Kindred, Mages. We all have our wants and desires even if sometimes those look different to each of us."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Thank you. On one level I can understand why my parents reacted like they did, but that doesn't make it sting any less."

"Agreed. I've made a point of trying to stay connected to the larger community here, if only because dealing with mortals for long periods of time causes more issues than it solves."

Ylva Theodulus: She shrugs her head. "There is never am excuse for what they did."

A nod of her head. "Im glad that you have that at least and that hopefully this can help you. Of course your predicament is a little more, delicate to handle as you still need Blood regardless of how you feel about it."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Blood in general isn't the issue, thankfully. Drinking from those like myself is, however."

Ylva Theodulus: "Ah. So its." She thinks for a moment. "Vitae? specifically that is the issue?"

Daniel Hawthorne: "Mmhmm. It came from the time I spent as a ghoul to my former regnant."

Ylva Theodulus: "Ah. So its. Right." Making connections in her mind.

"Do you have the desire to feed on any Kindred or is it only Them."

Using them for the regent like she uses it for her Gentry.

Daniel Hawthorne: "The former. I haven't had contact with anyone in Boston since I came here."

Ylva Theodulus: "Ah. That. Makes it more delicate. And exposure therapy isnt exactly the best thing when it comes to supernatural addictions."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Mmhmm. Proved that recently." He said with a wry smirk. "It had been long enough that I thought it would be fine, but..."

Ylva Theodulus: A nod of her head and a hand twitching to her stomach. "I get that. Totally. Hmm."

"The best support is people that will understand that it isnt a failing on your part if you do make a mistake."

Daniel Hawthorne: He gave a small nod as she touched her stomach. "I feel like I have that, thankfully."

Ylva Theodulus: "Thats the best advice I can give really and that you will always have a bed here if you need it during the day."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Appreciate it." He nodded, smiling softly. "Is there anything I can help you with, on that note?"

Ylva Theodulus: She shrugs. "Im doing better these days. I gave up my hunger. We will see what that will cost me in the long term but it was the easier answer for me."

Daniel Hawthorne: "I've had a similar offer for this issue although I passed on it at the time. I saw it as my burden to bear, as it were."

Ylva Theodulus: A nod of her head. "I kept nearly eating people. It felt like a problem I should resolve."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Definitely. In my case it's normally not as much of an issue unless it's directly offered, although talking about it in general can be a little grating."

Ylva Theodulus: "My apologies for making you linger on it further than you already have today. I'll let you go. Just wanted to check in."

Daniel Hawthorne: "No worries, I appreciate it." He said with a small smile. "Thanks for inviting me to the meeting."

Ylva Theodulus: "Your welcome. Have a good night. Hopefully we will see you at another."

Her smile is genuine as she heads to the door to see him out.
