Spicy: Spicy walks near the Monastery stables and she's listening to some music dancing a little to herself as she seem to wander almost aimlessly through the park, a little unfocused perhaps, but enjoying herself nonetheless. She's carrying her sportsbag and it looks like it's heavy from the way she moves about with it. As she dances, her mantle flare up, fruity scent with flowers carried on a refreshing breeze. She's dressed in jeans and a hoodie right this moment, hair held back into a tight bun. The frosty mien clearly on display for those with the eyes to see it.

Rosalyn Solfrig: Rosalyn was out in one of the stables' fields that bordered the park, a herd of horses with her as they enjoyed the fresh air and grass. Some were grazing, a couple actively dozing beneath a tree, and some others were following Ros around as she worked in the pasture. She smiled when she spotted Spicy and waved a hat in greeting as she headed over towards her at the edge of the fence. Ros was gorgeous, even dressed for working in the field. Her metallic gold hair was braided and blossoming with roses- which some of the horses kept trying to nibble.

Asbolus: Asbolus' usual wanderings through the city had taken up added importance in the wake of recent events for a number of reasons. One was to minimize the amount of time he remained alone at his hollow, just in case certain parties decided he was worth going after, and another was to keep an eye out for said parties to alert others of any signs of their emergence.

The Darkling was dressed casually as tended to be the case, pale blue-grey eyes scanning the area as he walked. Spotting the othe two Lost near the pasture he made his way there, giving a nod as he came into conversation range. "Salutations."

Spicy: Spicy takes off the little earbuds and stuff them inside of her hoodie's pocket and unplugs them from her phone. She greets Rosalyn with a wave of her hand and seems a little bit slow on the uptake for a moment, remaining quiet as if taking her time to chose what she's about to say. "Hey there!" a soft shake of her head.

Rosalyn Solfrig: "Good afternoon," she said solemnly, looking the pair over for a few moments. Not people she really knew, but familiar enough after her arrival several weeks ago. A hint of Autumn swirled around her, and she leaned against the fence. "I'm Rosalyn," she introduced herself. "Have you two heard the news?"

Asbolus: "Asbolus, pleasure." He nodded at the question from the Fairest, a small frown gracing his features. "I have, yes. Quite the unfortunate bit of business."

Spicy: "Yep." She answers very shortly, she bounces the duffel bag in her arm, the things inside appear heavy as fuck. "'m Spicy." It's not that she's rude, but it's a bit of a flat-toned shyness almost? Her frosty exterior appearing to be more than just a look. "Fun to meet you both." she offer a thin-lipped smile.

Rosalyn Solfrig: "Likewise," She said pleasantly, but her smile quickly turned down to a concerned frown. "I'm still pretty new here... I take it such betrayals aren't common. What is a Bridge Burner anyways?"

Asbolus: Asbolus started to answer but paused, taking a moment to glance around and ensure that they were no non-fae folk nearby before continuing. "At its base, those who do their best to starve the Kindly Ones by destroying the connections between here and there, which includes dreams."

Spicy: "Yeah okay, I think that's a bad thing." Her attention drifts between Asbolus and Rosalyn. "Still getting used to the whole weird stuff, but Its starting to make sense." Spicy shrugs. "If I see the burner, I can punch or swing something big."

Rosalyn Solfrig: "That doesn't make any sense," Ros muttered. "How can they even think that would work?" She shook her head. "Hopefully this will be resolved quickly though, the traitor caught."

Asbolus: "It does make some twisted amount of sense, but the damage done in the guise of 'protecting' others far outweighs any benefits that might come from it." He shook his head quietly. "Agreed. The sooner she's found the better."

Spicy: "Yep." Spicy says shortly in agreement with the sentiment brought by Asbolus. "How hard is chasing after one person like her? I don't know much about that." she says, clearly trying to push the conversation a bit away from the topic.

Rosalyn Solfrig: "It's not like there is directly connected to here," she countered. "So they cause a metaphorical ecological disaster here in Philadelphia but New York, Baltimore, and everywhere in between is still normal, so they aren't harming anyone but us as residents."

Asbolus: "Indeed." He nodded to Rosalyn, then looked to Spicy. "In her case it can be quite complex, considering her personal talents. Being able to slip physical boundaries as easily as most of us can avoid bindings makes one very hard to track."

Spicy: "Yeah I imagine this kind of weird stuff would make it hard to put our hands on her." She set the duffel bag on the ground with a solid thud there.

Rosalyn Solfrig: "Can she affect us if she's off in some other world though?" Ros asked. "I can't trample or shoot what isn't there."

Asbolus: "That I couldn't say, admittedly. I believe there are abilities that allow one to exist on a similar field, but I'm not well versed in them myself."

Spicy: "I know one myself, I think, but it'd be up to her if I saw her, I think." She shrugs. "Not entirely convenient." a soft, yet grim chuckle.

Rosalyn Solfrig: "No," she agreed. "If she's smart at all, she's already fled the state."

Asbolus: "Possibly, but somehow I doubt we'll be that lucky." He shook his head sadly. "It's a shame, in some ways. The other work she did for the organization as a whole was rather beneficial, but it served as a fine cover for her true intentions."

Spicy: "Which I still have no fucking idea about by the way." A shrug, a touch of frustration slipping out for a moment. "Lots of secrets and hush hush 'round this." a roll of her eyes.

Rosalyn Solfrig: "That's Winter for you, as I understand it," she said with a chuckle. "Secrets and hiding... Which only helped her betrayal, unfortunately, but secrets help protect us too."

Asbolus: "That does tend to be our way of things." Says the Silent Arrow standing in their midst, a slight smirk on his features. "Some details are better left for other times, but what she had in the works could bring grave peril to us all if it comes to completion."

Spicy: Spicy shrugs once and smirk. "I suppose so, not like it's going to change just because I'm grumpy 'bout it." she points to one of the horses. "That horse has been looking at you for like 3 minute straight, by the way."

Rosalyn Solfrig: Rosalyn laughed. "She's been particularly insistent about trying to eat my roses today. She's probably plotting her next devious move."

Asbolus: Asbolus looked towards the horse in question, chuckling quietly. "One of my brothers worked a few summers at a stable when we were younger. Never got the hang of being around them myself, but they are magnificant creatures."

Spicy: She smile at the Horse with a gentle smile. "I never really encountered any horses, this is actually a pretty nice stop on my way." a look back to Asbolus. "That they are."

Rosalyn Solfrig: "They are marvelous," she agreed, her expression softening to one of adoration. "My Elio would love to be out here flirting with the mares but his mask isnt a horse, much to his dismay. We do riding lessons and trail rides in the park, if you're interested. Or I can offer more... specialized training with mounts of your own."

Asbolus: "Ah...that is a shame." He smirked a touch, looking over the horses once again. "Hmm...perhaps. I have been meaning to...expand my interests somewhat as of late."

Spicy: "I don't have a special horse of any kind and I'm not sure how... feasible that would be with how I defend myself." A shrug "Though I suppose that could be a thing I learn?" she consider shortly.

Rosalyn Solfrig: "What is your preferred style of defense?" Ros asked curiously.

Asbolus: "I'm more in the 'not being there to be hit' vein, truth be told."

Spicy: "I have a large, large slashy weapon." she mime swinging something Big and Two Handed.

Rosalyn Solfrig: Ros chuckled. "So not so useful while mounted unless you switched to a lance. But a mount could be useful for you, Asbolus. "Elio's fast and well armored. Enemies have a hard time striking me when I'm on how back, much less pinning me down."

Asbolus: "I can imagine." Asbolus nodded quietly, mulling the thought over. "Worth looking into perhaps."

Spicy: "I don't know how much fighting I'll do where it'll be useful, but it's probably not the only way to ..." She considers for a moment, running her hand over her head. "Wonder what kind of weird stuff I could find though."

Rosalyn Solfrig: Ros shrugged. "None of us are Summers. We can fight in ways other than head on. I wouldn't consider myself a warrior and charging directly in isn't my idea of a good time."

Asbolus: "Right there with you. I fair far better at range, keeping those I'm dealing with off-balance while those more martially inclined do what they do best."

Spicy: "I feel safer hands-on." She explains with a shrug. "More control over the situation and I can jump in if someone needs direct help." Spicy nods

Rosalyn Solfrig: "Makes sense," she agreed. "And it takes all sorts to keep us all safe." Ros shook her head a little. "Been thinking about getting a bird full time too. Like Mongol hunters! I saw photos of them on the internet "

Rhapsody: Rhapsody comes strolling along the path, clearly a tourist by the way she's looking around at everything. Did she hear horses up ahead? She thinks she probably did, so she should definitely see what that's all about, she approaches the others with a bounce in her step and a smile on her face. Decked out in a simple, sky blue v-neck T and some beige slacks. She also happens to be wearing a guitar in an old beat up case on her back. She doesn't notice the group until she's almost upon them and then ... "Oh hi!" she announces, waving and shifting her path over towards the other three.

Asbolus: Asbolus looked towards Rhapsody at her approached, watching her for a long moment before offering a polite nod. "Salutations."

Spicy: "A bird would be cool." Spicy turns toward the fellow Spring courtier, she raise her hand in greetings there, waving once her way. "Hey, 'm Spicy." she looks over the newcomer for a moment. "Sup."

Rosalyn Solfrig: Rosalyn smiled to Rhapsody. The mare that had been staring at her for a few minutes snuck a few steps closer and nibbled at her hair. Ros sighed and patted her neck. "Stop that, silly," she murmured, then looked over to the newcomer again. "Good evening!"

Rhapsody: "Looks like you've got a friend." She says to Rosalyn with laugh. "I'm Rhapsody. Just got here a few days ago and I'm very excited to meet you all! I hope I'm not interrupting, but if I am just let me know and I'll go." She looks around and point across the way. "Over there and just watch you forlornly until the group breaks up and then pick one of you to catch up with afterwards."

Asbolus: "Ah...welcome, then." Asbolus gave another small nod. "Asbolus, pleasure."

Spicy: "I'm not ancient either, so we'll get along." She offers a fist for Rhapsody to bump, retracting it if the gesture seems to cause discomfort. Her gaze is swiftly drawn to the Mare nearby though

Rosalyn Solfrig: "How new is new?" Ros asked. "Have you been to see the local authorities and pledged in yet?"

Rhapsody: Rhapsody grins and fist bumps Spicy. "Spicy, I like it, I was called Spicy once or twice in college but never decided to take it on as a nickname." She grins and looks at Petra. "Oh yeah, of course, all the formalities have been taken care of, Oaths made and all that. I'm a member in good standing of the Spring Court."

Asbolus: The mention of oaths and courts earned another brief look around the area to ensure that no one else had crept into listening range before nodding quietly. "One of the Arrows myself."

Spicy: Spicy makes a gesture between her and Rhapsody. "Same!" then her hand move up to her head to mime some kind of horn or antlers "Antlers." she grins a little bit.

Rosalyn Solfrig: "Welcome to the city then! I'm an Autumn. If you need anything in the Hedge, let me know. That's my area of expertise. And horses."

Rhapsody: "Well, I do wanna ride some horses." SHe says with a grin then she pulls out her phone. "Can I uh, well if any of your are willing I'd love your numbers, with you three I'll have one of each! I ran into Gallowglass a couple days ago. " She holds the phone out in case anyone wants to take her up on the offer and share some contact info.

Asbolus: Asbolus pulled his own phone, an older model but still servicable nonetheless, and gave his number from memory while readying to gather the numbers of the others present.

Spicy: "I don't think I met Gallowglass yet." She explains and shrug her shoulder, she gives the newer spring courtier her phone number, showing the tiny old phone from with the phone taped on the back of it.She also let other collect her numbers.

Rosalyn Solfrig: Rosalyn just offered Rhapsody and the others a formal looking little card with her number on it.

"It's always good to make a wider network! Especially with the current situation."

Rhapsody: She takes all the numbers and sends everyone a smiley text so they have her number too. "Oh, yeah, I heard a little bit about that, no details, exactly, but apparently." She lowers her voice a bit. "Someone needs guarding?"

Asbolus: The numbers given were saved, the card taken from Ros and the phone pocketed once again. At Rhapsody's question he watched her for a moment. "So I've heard."

Spicy: "Alright... I got to take my leave for the moment, though. I gotta get to a friend's." She picks up her duffel bag from the ground, it looks heavy, but she doesn,t struggle with it. "Call me or meet me where ever you need to." (need a break before a thing I have in a bit!)

Rosalyn Solfrig: "It was a pleasure meeting you- all of you," Ros said warmly. "Honestly, I should get there horses to the barn and tucked in for the night too."

Rhapsody: "Oh man, my timing's not great, apparently, but it was great to meet you Spicy, and " She glances down at the card, flipping it over in her hand and reading it, before looking up with a smile "And you too Rosalyn!" She looks at Asbolus. "How about you, sticking around for a bit?"

Asbolus: "Nothing on my mind but my hat, as it were." He nodded to the others as they readied to depart, then looked to Rhapsody with a small smirk. "And I'm not even wearing one of those."

Rhapsody: She laughs a bit, genuinely amused. "Well, that makes it an easy night for you at least. I was just checking out the park so if you wanna wander or anything let me know, this place seems pretty big." She glances around, then back at him. "Have you been here a while then?"

Asbolus: "I moved here about five years ago, then left town again for a time. I've been back for over a year, however." He made an 'after you' motion towards the path before them, keeping his pace even with hers as they walked. "What made you decide to come here, out of curiosity?"

Rhapsody: "Well, it's kind of lame" She offers, sliding her fingers into her pockets as she starts down a path in the direction she was going before. "I'm originally from New York, but it was just a bit.... much.. after I got back, so I ran here. Close enough I can run back if I need to, but still sorta familiar I guess." She looks back at him, as if hoping she's not being judged too harshly. "It isn't a great reason, I could have just closed my eyes and pointed at map and ended up here."

Asbolus: "That's understandable, admittedly. It took me some time to adjust upon getting back...still am, in some respects."

Rhapsody: "Yeah? Anything you could use some help with or want to talk about?" She glances at him again as they walk, then back at the path, making sure she doesn['t fall off it. "Probably not since we just met huh? No need to be hasty, Rhapsody." She lightly chides herself. "Anyways, I've only been here for a week, but it's like, a weight off, so I think I made a good decision, even with the trouble going on, but I bet there's trouble everywhere that we just didn't .. notice before, so, it's probably a wash, right?"

Asbolus: "Nothing terribly pressing at the moment, no. More in a general 'making a place for myself' sort of thing." He nodded quietly as she continued. "Indeed. The people here have been very welcoming for me, and I imagine it will be the same for you."

Rhapsody: "Yeah, everyone seems nice, all 5 of them." she laughs a bit. "Finding a place for yourself, that's..kind of interesting isn't it? Like, you say and I think to myself you probably mean something like, how to help out maybe, or how to make things.. meaningful now?" She looks curiously at him, giving him a beat and then finishing her thought. "I don't remember worrying about that before, not in the same way, you know? I wanted to do what I wanted to do and I had to do what I had to do and I was just going to.. probably..." She rolls her eyes. "Make money and buy stuff and live my life and not worry too much about my place compared to everyone else, but now it seems like, seems like it's different somehow? Is that what you mean or am I just babbling again?"

Asbolus: "Somewhat, yes." Another small nod, looking to her with a small smile. "I can't go back to what I was doing before, so forging a new path for myself is necessary. Figuring out what is the question, but I have an idea in mind."

Rhapsody: "That's awesome! I haven't put a lot of thought into it, though the whispers of trouble make me think maybe I should." She looks over with a smile to match his. "I'm not sure there's anything I can do to help you but I'll definitely give a shot. For now, well, honestly, I haven't been back that long. I'm hoping I can find a little space to just... live. I wasn't gone so long I have a lot of catching up to do, but even before I left I didn't... didn't have a lot of choice, so I'm just gonna do a little of everything until I have to get serious about something."

Asbolus: "Sounds like a good plan all around."

Rhapsody: "Is that what you did? Is there anything you haven't done that you've wanted to since you got back?" she glances at him curiously as they walk along, hands slipping out of her pockets to briefly check the strap on her guitar case before falling casually to her sides.

Asbolus: "A few things, but circumstances haven't allowed me to try again. Looking into ways to amend that, though."

Rhapsody: She nods a bit, considering. "Well I've been babbling for a while, is there something you'd like to chat about? Anything you think I should know about the city?"

Asbolus: "I'm fine with listening, so no worries." He thought a moment on the question that followed. "Be careful in Harrowsgate; there are talks of people going missing in the area."

Rhapsody: she nods a bit. "Is that like.. on a map or just something you're supposed to -know-?"

Asbolus: "It's a neighborhood in the northern part of the city. Should be able to find it on a map easily enough."

Rhapsody: She nods a bit. "Alright, I can do that. Anyone in particular you really like hanging out with that I should be sure and meet?"

Asbolus: "Lux, for one. They're a dear friend of mine, and a very talented street artist besides."

Rhapsody: "Oh cool, where do they do their art, I mean, is there a specific sort of... zone the work in?"

Asbolus: "Wherever the mood strike them, to my knowledge. They are in the process of setting up an artist's group called the Love Letters Artists Collective, though, to give other artists the space to work and ways to be better known for their art."

Rhapsody: "Hrmm interesting, Gallowglass mentioned Lux too, so I'll have to meet them sooner than later I suppose, if I can find 'em. Ooooh, that reminds me, I'm also asking everyone where they like to hang out, and why, naturally." She grins over at him, watching him for a few steps.

Asbolus: "I tend to wander, truth be told, and see where the city takes me." He smiled a touch. "I do stop by Club Vertigo on occasion, both to people watch and because a number of us come and go there most evenings."

Rhapsody: She nods a bit. "Gal mentioned that too, good, good, do you and him ever hang out?"

Asbolus: "We've met. He seems a solid gent overall."

Rhapsody: She nods with a grin. "He's -very- solid. I was following him pretty quickly and I ran right into him, I think I almost broke something." She laughs a bit at that.

Asbolus: He chuckled quietly, shaking his head with a small smirk. "I can imagine..."

Rhapsody: "Just walk into him next time you see him and you won't have to imagine." She laughs again and looks over at him. "So, if you don't want to that's totally fine, but I heard the cry thing was raised, do you know any more about the recent troubles?"

Asbolus: "Less not wanting to and more that it's not a conversation meant for a public place. I will say that the threat to our people is notable, both from the instigator herself and what has been set into motion."

Rhapsody: "Wanna go somewhere else?" She asks, shrugging. "I feel like we're running short on public conversations."

Asbolus: He spared a brief glance at his watch - he did actually wear one, rather than just using his phone - then gave Rhapsody an apologetic look. "Perhaps another time; I have some business to attend to. Feel free to call if you wish to speak again, though."

Rhapsody: "sounds good, it was great meeting you. Have a good night." She waves with a smile and continues wandering along her merry way as he goes his.
