Log

Michael Tath: Gotta keep going. The jogging, slender fox winds his way through the park, dressed in a tracksuit. He stops for a moment, taking a few deep breaths and a gulp of water as he looks around, beaming from both the fairly good weather and the buzz of humanity about. It doesn't take muck to put him in high spirits.

Asbolus: Michael would find a somewhat familiar face sitting on a bench not too far away, as a casually-dressed Asbolus seemed to be doing a bit of people-watching with a to-go cup from a local cafe in hand.

Michael Tath: "Hey!" He exclaims to the other Lost, scampering over and spreading both arms to offer a hug, before reminding himself that might be a bit too much and withdrawing. He's still smiling widely though, nodding keenly. "Good to see you! How are you getting on today?"

Asbolus: Asbolus looked up at the callout, smiling a touch at the exuberance. There was a brief pause at the offer of a hug before he held one arm out to give a quick around-the-shoulders type thing, nodding in kind. "Well enough. Yourself?"

Michael Tath: "Ooh, yes, I am good!" He hops a little before stilling. "Wanted to run, fresh air and all helps with the whole inspiration thing, and I'm trying to work up ideas for a fashion show thing." A warm smile. "What brings you by? Hope you're enjoying your coffee."

Asbolus: "Glad to hear it. This show something of a follow-up to the one that went rather...interestingly lately, from what I heard?"

"Getting some fresh air as well, if only to do a little people-watching. And it's tea, but I am enjoying it, yes."

Michael Tath: "Tea is also good." He smiles. "And something of a follow up, mm, but with this more about actually raising money for people who need it. Plus, the artists who would have gotten a chance to show their work will hopefully get that back."

Asbolus: "Ah...best of luck, then. I imagine they'll appreciate it."

Michael Tath: The fox nods, carefully taking a seat. "What have you been up to, if I'm okay to be asking?"

Asbolus: "Quite alright." He moved over a touch on the bench to give Michael room to join him, just in case his tail decided to get rowdy. "Things like this, for the most part. Trying to get out among others more rather than keeping to myself."

Michael Tath: A nod there. "How's that feeling? I know it varies for people how much contact they're good with." A fact the extrovert fox often needs to remind himself. "People are interesting though, and just being out about them can feel good, yes?"

Asbolus: "My...previous work tended to cut me off from more casual interactions with others, so it's taking some getting used to but it's been pleasant enough." He nodded, taking a sip of his tea before smiling a touch. "It does..."

Michael Tath: "You don't need to rush yourself, after all." Michael muses. "Happiness and being content and comfortable is the important part. I'm glad to have run into you, mind, the whole touching base thing." He considers, tail twitching. "Lots of people to know, all with different natures who might like to chat now and again."

Asbolus: "Indeed. Better to walk towards the deep end at one's own pace rather than dive in fully, as it were. And it's good to have run into you as well. Do you come through this particular park often?"

Michael Tath: He chews his lip, looking around. "Erm.. what's it called again? I.. think so, a time or two?"

Asbolus: "Believe that's the usual turn of phrase, yes." He looked curious at the sudden awkwardness. "Everything alright?"

Michael Tath: "Oh, yes." He smiles, tail bushing up as he gets comfortable. "I just can't think where I am right now. That's not too unusual for me though, but I've better check soon." He grins. "Hard to get back home otherwise. But I'm good, mm, always good. Well, usually."

Asbolus: "Ah...I tend to let the city take me where it wishes as well, so I know the feeling." He smirked a touch, although the curious look returned at that last little tidbit. "And when you're not?"

Michael Tath: "You like to just wander and discover?" He asks curiously, then nods. "Then I'm sad or upset or frightened. It happens sometimes, the world has rough edges. But I try to stay in a good way, not let things like that win."

Asbolus: "I do. I didn't get much of a chance to get to know the city before I went out of town for work, and it's changed enough in some places since I got back to warrant another look." He nodded quietly. "Not a bad tact to take."

Michael Tath: "Anything you're hoping to see or find then?" He ventures. "I could help you out sometime if you're interested, and I know a few others who might be able to as well."

Asbolus: "Nothing in particular, but I wouldn't say no to the company in general."

Michael Tath: He rubs at an ear. "I don't know how many are about right now, but, if I have your number I could give you a call or message if I find out any sort of gathering's happening?"

Asbolus: "I'd like that. Lux has dragged me out on a few occasions, but having more avenues for such things wouldn't be a bad thing." He pulled out his own phone, a few years older than most but still serviceable. "Let me know when you're ready for the number."

Michael Tath: He beams. "Lux is pretty awesome. Glad to have met them." A nod as he produces his own, somewhat newer phone, holding it up. "Ready when you are."

Asbolus: "That they are. I consider myself lucky to call them a friend." He smiled warmly at that, giving his number when Michael was ready for it.

Michael Tath: An input of the number and a text to check it had gone through before he smiled. "So. What sort of things do you enjoy getting up to? Mostly so I know what to look out for."

Asbolus: His own phone hummed at the receipt of the text and he sent one in return just to confirm that everything was working properly. "I enjoy the theater, although I'm not as involved these days due to my...other half's continued presence there. Other than that, music, a good book, that sort of thing."

Michael Tath: "Music." He smiles, nodding. "Music I can certainly look into. How's about that?"

Asbolus: "Sounds good to me."

Michael Tath: "I'll do that. And, well, there's more then one theatre about, right? I figure sorting out a show to watch should be no big challenge. I don't know it so well myself, but could do some asking."

Asbolus: "Not opposed. I was also made aware of some talents available to us as far as thorough make-up is concerned, so if you happen to know anyone who might be able to point me in the right direction on that front I'd be grateful."

Michael Tath: "Ah. You mean for theatre prep and the like?"

Asbolus: "More in the 'if we ended up in the same place the similarities wouldn't be noticed' sense."

Michael Tath: "Ah." He nods slightly with a smile, though it's a slightly confused one. "Well, that sounds good." He rubs at an ear in thought. "Can I catch up with you later, perhaps?"

Asbolus: "Sounds good. Have a good rest of the day."

Michael Tath: "I surely will. I'll be in touch." He smiles warmly, hopping to his feet.
