Ylva:

Ylva was tentatively trying, again, to wander a park. This one was close to her shop and maybe she could go visit afterwards if the night went well.

Tonight she was wearing a relatively conservative outfit, well, conservative for her. Denim short shorts, fishnets, knee high leather boots and a leather jacket. Her white hair was tied back going most of the way to her butt her red eyes striking in the night.

She was wandering along slowly nibbling at some jerky and looking around.

Rena:
STOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMP Rena enters the park, cronching on as many leaves as she can. It keeps her from being sneaky, but that's not necessarily what you want when you're being friendly. She's wearing her stompiest of boots, a big t-shirt for an obscure band and torn jeans.

As she's all but jumping in leaf piles, she notices Ylva and stops. "Hey," she says awkwardly, trying to pretend like she wasn't out just to step on leaves. "I like your style."

Ylva:
There is a chuckle from Ylva, hearing her come from further than you would imagine.

A raised eyebrow and a little smirk as she grows closer before a gentle wave. "Heya. Thanks, I picked it out myself."

She looks down at the ground laughing at herself. "One day ill learn to take a compliment."

Rena:
"'s easy to take a compliment. Just be me and know that everyone out there thinks that you're the coolest and the best." Rena smirks. "Self-confidence is important if you want to be a badass bitch."

Ylva:
"Oh I know im a bad bitch." A hint of her intimidating looks coming through. "But it doesnt mean I know how to take a compliment."

She chuckles a smile on her face.

"Nice to meet ya, you can call me Ylva."

Rena:
"Rena." She gives a sarcastic salute. "What brings you out at these late hours?"

Ylva:
"Some peace and quiet late at night is good to clear the mind."

A tilted head. "You?"

Rena:
"Just walking home," Rena lies. She twists her back, which lets out a bunch of pops and cracks. "Figured cutting through the park is nicer than city streets."

Ylva:
She raises an eyebrow but lets it slide. "It is faster and certainly more fun." Finishing with a chuckle and a look at the jumpy leave trail.

Rena:
Rena doesn't blush. She can't right now. But if she could, she would. "Look. Sometimes a grown ass woman wants to jump in some leaves. 's that a problem?"

Ylva:
"Oh not at all. I have dont it many times myself."

There is a chuckle looking down at her boots.

"Why else do we wear big boots?"

Rena:
"Stompin' fascists," Rena says casually, brushing some blue hair out of her face. "'m pretty good at that one."

Ylva:
"Fair." A chuckle and a little blush, pushing her hair out of her face. "And standing on your partners. Thats always fun."

Rena:
"I'd need a partner for that one," Rena mumbles, sticking her hands in her pockets. She kicks a pebble and it goes flying, probably further than a pebble ought to fly when a human kicks it lightly.

Ylva:
"You could always stand on me if you swing that way." There is a playful giggle like she is mostly joking.

Rena:
"I." Rena starts and stops. "Sorry, I don't do casual hookups?" If it was a joke, Rena didn't get it. "No offense! I mean, you're pretty and all!"

Ylva:
"Your good, honestly, I was more or less joking."

She chuckles a smile on her face. "Sorry, you said to be confident like a bad bitch right?"

Rena:
"Oh." Rena calms down and lets out an anxious laugh. "Fuck me, I guess I did say that. Sorry. I've like only ever dated one other person and we broke up like 5 minutes later. I'm a little awkward when it comes to that sort of thing."

Ylva:
She keeps chuckling a smile on her face. "Its fine really, im flirty, its how I be. I dont know how to be awkward with that, its one of the few things that dont bother me and I can bad bitch about."

Rena:
"Yeah, I'm not like... the best with flirting. Or doing emotions in general." Rena cracks her knuckles. "I'd rather solve my problems with my fists. Or through doing sprints. Or really any exercise." She flexes her non-existent muscles.

Ylva:
Ylva smiles again, not knowing what Rena is but feeling her confidence in her physical abilities. "Fair enough, ill try not to flirt then. Besides we only just met."

Tilting her head at the cracked knuckles. "I can understand that. I tend to solve a lot of my problems by standing up to people when they dont expect it."

Rena:
"Do you know how to fight?" Rena asks, no judgement in her voice. A straight up and down question. "I can help teach how to fight straight up and down. I'm pretty darn good at it."

Ylva:
"In a manner of speaking." Something behind that, a comment left unsaid. "I can hold my own."

Rena:
Rena isn't going to push it. They just met after all. Besides, she probably just means that she has a gun. "That's good. 's important for girls to be able to kick ass." She pauses. "Oh shit, I'm an asshole. Pronouns?"

Ylva:
There is a moment of hesitation, its the first time someone has asked her that since she got back. "Um. Yes? Anything except He and Him." And awkward push of her hands flattening her hair down to her head. "You?"

Rena:
"She/her. You can tell by how ladylike I am," she punctuates her joke with another punted rock. "I'm pretty sure I'm boring and cis."

Ylva:
Another giggle. "Oh absolutely. Im boring and Cis but very gay." A moment of hesitation. "Mostly Gay."

Rena:
Rena shrugs. "Eh, you're any amount of gay, you're welcome, you know? Fuckers'll hate us all equally so we gotta stick together."

Ylva:
"Exactly, thats why im in Philly. Its a good place. They dont look at the punk, albino, dwarf too oddly here."

Rena:
"'Parently a lot of other places suck too, especially for- nevermind." Rena clams up. "Point is, I've only been here and Baltimore," an accent slips out as she says that city, "and I'll take this over that any day of the week."

Ylva:
She raises an eyebrow before she says. "I was born in the deep south, to some pretty problematic parents. This place is infinitely better."

Rena:
"Parents suck." She emphasizes the k. "I found a family here that isn't just the worst and I like them a bunch."

Ylva:
"And thats why I ran away from home at like 12, eventually found my way here. My found family here is good."

She kicks at a few leaves. "Glad you could find that too."

Rena:
"Hell yeah, runaway buddies." Rena holds up a hand for a high five.

Ylva:
There is a definite hesitation but she very gingerly and gently gives Rena a high five. The perceptive can see the muscles of her neck tensing.

"Runaway buddies."

Rena:
"Maybe this is oversteppin' my bounds, but if you need a place to talk about shit involvin' bein' a runaway and what not or if you got any bad habits, I know a good group." She fumbles around looking for a business card in her wallet.

Ylva:
"Oh ive got plenty of bad habits, sadly some of them are harder to kick." She takes the card. "Thanks though, 'preciate it."

Rena:
"I mean, I get it. I had a bit of a drug problem. I mean, I still do. 's just in remission or whatever the fuck the term is," Rena shrugs. "Like I said, 's a good support group."

Ylva:
"Thanks. Really, its just, complex. Ya know." She pulls out a card of her own passing it over. "I own a tattoo and piercing shop if thats ya vice and you wanna stop by."

Rena:
"Yeah, I get it." She takes the card happily. "I just might. I know some folks who are into transhumanism who might be interested." She pauses. "I can only make nights though, so I'm hoping its open then."

Ylva:
She tilts her head at that. "Yeah we can make that work. Though im curious."

Rena:
"Got a job that keeps me busy all day every day," Rena lies. "Only get off at night."

Ylva:
"Ah yeah, fair enough." She lifts her eyes to the sky. "We love some good Transhumanism, tend to do a bit of the heavier stuff at night."

Pulling back her hair she twists her head to reveal pointed ears and runs a forked tongue across her teeth, grinning. "More of the fun stuff."

Rena:
Rena smirks. "Hell. Yes. I know some people who'd be down as hell."

Ylva:

"Sounds good, I look forward to it."

She looks up at the sky sighing.

"Hey this has been great but its late, I gotta head in and do some work. Have a good night."
