Tommy Shanks: After a recommendation from Arthur, Tommy/Bones makes an appointment at the shop.

Aurelio Menegi: Tommy would be ushered into the main workshop area upon their arrival, a row of kilns and workstations on one wall and cabinets of other supplies and shelves to house completed projects on the other. The Torrent himself was waiting at the front most station, dressed in all black as was his custom.

Tommy Shanks: Bones arrived in clothing the exact opposite in nature, flowing white dress, with yellow/golden accents throughout it. Their form was androgynous. A smile was on their face as they bobbed to the Sprite with a smile, "Hello, I come with recommendations from Arthur Phoenix. He's making specialty items for me, and I want other unusual glass items made as well."

Aurelio Menegi: "Ah, I see." He nodded with a small smile, offering a hand that was notably cool to the touch. "What sort of items do you have in mind?"

Tommy Shanks: They shook the hand firmly, politely. The shake of someone who has to do a lot of official business here and there.

"Well, he recommended you as I am a member of the Maddy's fan club."

Aurelio Menegi: "Ah...a good place, that." He nodded, tilting his head towards the back of the studio. "We can speak more privately in the back. Shall we?"

Tommy Shanks: "Yes please."

Aurelio Menegi: After grabbing a sketchbook from his workstation Aurelio led the way towards the back of the studio, passing by his fellow artisans as they worked on their own projects. Behind a door tucked into the corner was what looked like a break room of some sort with tables, a fridge, microwave and all that, along with another small office off to the side which Aurelio let them into.

"So," the Torrent asked as Bones got settled and he claimed a chair of his own. "What sort of project do you have in mind?"

Tommy Shanks: "I am Awakened, and need two shapes that I plan to fill with mercury, so it has to be as sealed tight as possible. Oh. I nearly forgot. I am Bones among the Awakened, and Tommy SHanks among what we call Sleepers," they offered their hand.

"The shapes are going to be abnormal to normal shapes."

Aurelio Menegi: "Good to know. What should I call you for today?" He nodded, pulling a pencil from the spiral binding of the sketchbook. "Abnormal how?"

Tommy Shanks: "I am Bones, at present, as these are to be magical tools for myself and a friend later. They're abnormal because they're based on High Speech, a language that non-Mages have trouble reading."

Aurelio Menegi: He offered another nod, mulling that over. "Should be doable. Are the symbols something you can make an example of?"

Tommy Shanks: "Yeah. I'll make it just off, for reference..." and they ask for the pen with a hand.

Aurelio Menegi: Both the pencil and sketchpad were offered, with the Torrent watching curiously as they worked.

Tommy Shanks: Bones took a deep breath, thought about the symbols in mind, and drew the Runes for Acanthus and Obrimos. Except they each had a few defects on purpose, which were extra lines, and then circles around them.

Aurelio Menegi: Aurelio looked over the sketches, head tilted slightly at the unfamiliar sigils. "...hmm. How large would you need them to be? That kind of detail can be difficult on a smaller scale, but doable."

Tommy Shanks: "Oh! Actually! This one too..." and added the Mastigos symbol with similar alterations, "... the size of a lava lamp?"

Aurelio Menegi: That earned a quizzical look, with Aurelio quietly mouthing the phrase before looking back to the mage. "Not familiar with such, I am afraid."

Tommy Shanks: "...I'm sorry. Is it something from between your time here and there, perhaps?" they held up their phone and it was already searching for lava lamp images.

Aurelio Menegi: "Most likely, yes. I was gone for some time." He looked to the phone as it was held up, eyeing them curiously before nodding. "That I can do. Do you have a preference for the base?"

Tommy Shanks: "Silver, Steel, and Brass..." motioning in order to Acanthus, Obrimos and Mastigos.

Aurelio Menegi: "May take a bit to source the silver, but it should be doable." He made a note of such under each glyph, looking them over. "How much of this is...obscuring, if you follow?" He motioned to the circles and extra bits coming off of the sigil.

Tommy Shanks: "Those circles and lines they are around shouldn't be there."

Aurelio Menegi: "Alright." He nodded, making a few extra notes here and there. "What color would you like for the glass?"

Tommy Shanks: "If you need to add them... I can do things to it later, or another can, to ... trim them. If you focus too much on the symbol... it might get weird. "Green or blue, WHite or Yellow, and Black or close to it."

Aurelio Menegi: "That may be best. Would not want to call something down without meaning to." More notes added for the color preferences. "Do you need this at a particular time?"

Tommy Shanks: "No. I can afford the steel, brass, and glass for the materials... and the work of course. The silver might need to wait a week or two at least."

Aurelio Menegi: "Sounds good. I can do the work here or in my personal workshop, if working...elsewhere would not impact the tools as they are made. The latter will allow me to work quicker, though."

Tommy Shanks: "It might actually help the first. And if it just comes out ironside, as I believe it's called, as regular glass, should be fine."

Aurelio Menegi: "It would, yes. I am able to work faster when not observed, and while that can happen here it can be guaranteed there."

Tommy Shanks: "I've had a negative trip There, once, so I had to ask. I plan on bringing it to and from the spirit realm, so I didn't want it to somehow explode into living glass and kill me or something," only half-joking.

Aurelio Menegi: Cue a curious arch of the eyebrow. "I see...that should not be an issue, no."

Tommy Shanks: "I had stone rise to trip me, crowds of people walk to block me, and buildings seem to move like something out of Encanto... it was... a thing."

Aurelio Menegi: "I can imagine. It is a danger for us and we are built for it, so you venturing in was even more so."

Tommy Shanks: "I learned a valuable lesson, don't try to tell the Hedge that my perceptions are better than it can hide."

Aurelio Menegi: "Indeed. Glad you made it out in one piece."

Tommy Shanks: They reached in their bag and pulled out a few rolls of cash money. It was quite a bit, "Is that enough seed money?" (resources 4 worth of cash)

Aurelio Menegi: It took a bit to surprise the Torrent these days, but seeing that much cash pulled out at once managed to do it. "That...should be more than enough, yes."

Tommy Shanks: "I wanted to make sure to pay you for your efforts in sourcing things. And cash, because ones and zeroes are easily traced."

Aurelio Menegi: "Much appreciated, and true enough." He nodded, settling back into his seat. "I can begin with the glass and work on the bases once the silver has been found."

Tommy Shanks: They set one of Tommy's business careds on the table, "Let me know if you need anything else," a smile on their face.

Aurelio Menegi: He took the offered card, looking it over before pocketing it. "I will. Thank you for coming by."

Tommy Shanks: They worked their way back out of the shop, though they did stop to study the kilns
