PECO Delaware Power Plant

Log

Sunshine Adams: Sunshine has made her way to PECO Delaware Power Plant, her RV parked out front nearby. Wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a long, warm leather coat, she's wandered pretty far inside, and has set up several different cameras in a room near the middle, one that has no windows outside. Around the room is a regular camera, a thermal camera, her GoPro, and a voice recorder. Currently, she's playtesting something new. She's using her telekinesis, hovering about two feet in the air, and practicing her 'I'm totally possessed by a ghost' face.

Jeremiah Hamilton: While the show wasn't something he watched himself, after overhearing some chatter at the cafe Jeremiah found himself mighty curious indeed about how legitimate the show and its host might be. Using a wee bit of Supernal GPS he made his way to the plant, giving the RV a once over before heading inside.

Upon reaching the room the familiar hum of magic beyond his own caught his attention, but rather than interrupt he remained by the doorway, leaning against the frame and watching her practice.

Sunshine Adams: After a few moments she drops the act and lowers herself down. She turns to go towards the laptop in one corner and the sight of someone watching her startles her so bad she lets out a yelp and jumps backwards. "The fuck?" She stares at the strange man standing there in the doorway, then looks around at all the cameras, back at him, and lifts her hands up. "So look, I can totally explain all this..."

Jeremiah Hamilton: Jeremiah held up his hands in a "no harm meant" sort of way, giving her an apologetic smile, and what a charming thing it was. "Sorry to startle you, but I didn't want to interrupt. And do tell...that was pretty impressive."

Sunshine Adams: She opens her mouth to answer, closes it, opens it, closes it again. She tries to search for the right words. "I was just possessed by a ghost..."

Jeremiah Hamilton: He took a moment to glance around, like he might see said ephemeral being, before looking back to Sunshine. "Playing the cheval or was there less consent involved?"

Sunshine Adams: "Oh...the first one..." She trails off, staring at him. "Are you a fan of the show?" She frowns slightly. "I did post that picture on Instagram...I take it you figured out where I was?" She starts to edge over towards where her laptop and her phone are sitting.

Jeremiah Hamilton: "A recent one, yeah. I heard about your last episode and was curious." He made a 'may I?' motion into the room rather than assuming that it was alright to come in. "Jeremiah, by the way, although most folks call me Jay."

Sunshine Adams: "Nice to meet you, Jay..." She smiles faintly. "Yeah, that was one hell of a good episode, if I do say so myself." She looks at him again, relaxing a little bit. "Come on in, just ah, don't knock over any of the cameras." She picks up a polaroid camera and holds it up. "Kinda random question, but would you mind if I took your picture?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: "You got it." Jeremiah avoided the cameras on the way in to get into proper conversation range, eyeing the Polaroid curiously before smirking a touch. "Haven't seen one of those in a while...what would you do with the photo?"

Sunshine Adams: She smiles. "It's a magic camera." Before he says no, she holds it up and snaps a picture. "And you're very photogenic." The polaroid slowly ejects the picture, black, for the moment.

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Hey...could have posed better if you'd warned me." He chuckled, shaking his head as he moved in a bit closer to see how the photo came out. "And magic how, out of curiosity?"

Sunshine Adams: She fans the photo, letting it develop. "I got it off EBay, for all I know it just has a convenient smudge on the lens. We'll see in a few moments if it does more than that." She smiles at him. "I could always take another one."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Maybe, if that one doesn't turn out." He said with a smirk. "How long have you been dealing with ghosts and whatnot?"

Sunshine Adams: "Oh...I've had some skills for quite a while now, learned a few more as I went along." She holds the picture up as it finally develops, at an angle he can't see it yet. She frowns slightly, and looks up at him. She holds the camera out in front of her and snaps a selfie. "Just to see if it's a lens thing..."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Is the levitation new or something you've been able to do for a while?" The smirk lingered, although he perked up a touch as she looked his way once the photo was done. "Something come up?"

Sunshine Adams: "You don't think the ghost was levitating me?" She sets the camera down on the table and picks up the other picture, looking at it. She stares at the one of her, and the one of him. "You are different." She looks up at him. "Not a ghost, but different."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "I don't, no. Not that it coming from you is a bad thing, mind. The world has a lot more to it..." Whatever he was saying faded out as she commented about the two photos, looking pleasantly surprised that the little gadget actually picked something up. With a moment's focus the Supernal lens snapped into place over his own senses, allowing him a proper look at the young woman before him. "If you know where to look."

He finished with a smile, giving a little nod at her assertion. "I have my own ties to the strange and unusual, yeah. That was part of why I wanted to meet you and see if what happened on the show last week was smoke and mirrors or something more interesting."

Sunshine Adams: Once again she looks between him and his picture a few times. "You aren't like me either, though. Our pictures are different." She finally holds out the two Polaroids. The one of her has a faint pale blue aura, making her look cold. Jay's aura is distinctly different.

Jeremiah Hamilton: Jeremiah's eyebrow arched as he looked over the photos, eyeing the camera for a moment. "That is a slick little rig...must come in handy for your work." He looked back to her with a small smile. "I got a backstage view of the universe a while back and try to put that to good use."

Sunshine Adams: She stared at him for a few moments. "Like...I hope you mean a really good acid trip, but I'm guessing that is naive." She frowns slightly. "You aren't a fan, are you? You're here like the last person, to make sure I don't get close to any inconvenient truths."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Nah, something a little more complex than that." He paused at the frown that crossed her features, shaking his head. "The opposite, actually. I'd rather more people see the truth, and do my best to help them do that."

Sunshine Adams: Her expression turns more curious. "What is the truth, then?" Looks back at his picture. "You sparkle."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "That there's more to the world that what we've been made to see, things that have been taken from humanity as a whole, and that if the spark of knowledge reaches the right point we'll be able to take it back." His conviction on that particular point came though loud and clear, although the mirth slipped back in a bit as he looked over the photo again. "That I do...the blue is a nice color on you, though."

Sunshine Adams: She holds her hand out and concentrates for a moment. A small area above her hand drastically drops in temperature, small ice crystals forming in a space the size of a baseball. "It seems to be able to know my little trick."

Jeremiah Hamilton: Jeremiah perked up when the cold spot formed, both from the chill and the hum of his Senses kicking in once again, smiling as the ball formed. "Very nice..."

Sunshine Adams: "What about you?" She looks from the cold spot to him. "Sparkles...some sort of fire?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Little bit of everything, honestly. Fire, some mental mojo, few other things."

Sunshine Adams: "I seem to have a knack for learning powers of the mind." She smiles faintly. "But you are something different. I'm going to take a wild guess here and say your powers are nothing like mine."

Jeremiah Hamilton: He replied with a smile of his own. "Different source, maybe, but as I see it we're pulling on the same strings in different ways."

Sunshine Adams: "For someone that wants me to know the truth you have a knack for non-answer replies..." She raises an eyebrow. "What is your source, then?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: "It's more that it would probably be a better conversation for somewhere a little more comfortable than an old power plant." He smirked a touch at that. "At its base, though, I got an up close and personal look at that universal truth and was awakened to the possibilities that mankind has to change the world for the better."

Sunshine Adams: She lets out a light chuckle. "I don't know how hosting a ghost hunting show makes the world better."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "It sparks curiosity, makes people wonder what might be out there and loosens the chains of mediocrity the world tries to keep us locked up with. It may not seem like a lot, but every little bit helps."

Sunshine Adams: "The funny thing is that I can actually hear ghosts. I just can't see them except through photography. So I...well..." She thinks for a moment, using her telekinesis to lift off the floor a bit again. "I cheat."

Jeremiah Hamilton: He chuckled as she floated up, watching her with a smile. "Ah...so you help with the 'manifestation' bit if there's actually something there?"

Sunshine Adams: She shrugs. "I can't get them to show up on video, no matter how hard I try. And I need to eat to live."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Fair enough." Jeremiah nodded, looking around briefly before reaching into his pocket to pull out his phone. "How about this: we swap numbers and you get a hold of me when you're done here and we can talk more in-depth on things. Sound good to you?"

Sunshine Adams: She nods. "Alright." She gives him her phone number. "I am looking forward to it." She grins. "You've got me dying of curiosity."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Hopefully I won't disappoint." He punched in her number and sent a test text, smiling as he looked back to her. "Look forward to hearing from you."
