Titania was once again sitting on one of the rooftops towards the north of the City. Hanging off one of the railings upside down and playing Pokemon Go on her phone. Cloak sitting on the railing above.
Her eyes were closed and when she wasnt looking at her phone she was staring at the wall she had been pushed against just a few nights ago.
Ella Widener
-The clicking of heels can be heard coming up the stairs as Ella makes an appearance atop the roof. she was wearing the following outfit and glances out across the city rooftop, though her eyes do wander over to Titania and she offers a smile.-
"Well nice to see you up here, this spot has a pretty good view."
Titania Sanguine
Titania turns her head to look over at Ella her eyes still closed.
"Good evening Ella. It does have a nice view. Plus there is a Gym and a Pokestop in range."
Ella Widener
"You trying to take it over or going for Zekrom or Mega Salamance?" -she asks curiously as she moves to grab a chair to sit in, nearby-
Titania Sanguine
"Trying to take it over at the moment. Im relatively new. One of my, night friends got me into it as a distraction recently."
There is a click in the back of her throat and Columba comes and lands on her legs. The shadow Raven leaving slight trails in the air as she sits up.

'Is this your first Pokémon game you've ever played or simply the most convenient because its on your cellphone?"
-She glances the other woman's way and opens up her own phone to take a look herself at what was going on at this specific location-
Titania Sanguine
"I started it about the same time that Daniel showed me Pokemon Shield. Just before Scarlet came out. This is just the easiest to play on the go."
A smile as Ella takes out her phone. This is a normal conversation. This is how conversation work right.
Ella Widener
"Oh I started a while back, sort of had my childhood messed up a little bit so picked up Emerald back in 2004. Probably one of my favorite ones back before there were so many Pokémon. I wish they'd stop shooting out a new one every year and concentrate on making them a bit better."
Titania Sanguine
"I wasnt 'around' to play them back then. I suppose I can experience them for the first time if I wanted couldnt I."
Ella Widener
"Well Emerald was just sort of an expansion of Ruby and Sapphire as it allowed you to catch both the legendries that were originally limited to their respective versions. It also granted Rayquaza a more prominent role in the story. They remade Ruby and Sapphire into Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."
Titania Sanguine
"There are so many to catch up on. I wonder how long it will stick around in the long run."
She tilts her head working on a battle.
"I try to learn a new hobby each time. An effort to keep up as it were."
Ella Widener
"How long Pokémon will last? I'd wager until it stops generating money which will probably be never? As long as they can keep coming up with new Pokémon and basically list off a new gemstone or color it doesn't really matter. People will keep buying it."
Titania Sanguine
"The same has been said of many things historically. Its interesting how they fade."
There is a chuckle as she finishes. "Gym, captured!"
Ella Widener
"Well congrats, you kicked out some other people who will no longer get any pokecoins from defending." -She chuckles softly- "So tell me about your companions."
Titania Sanguine
"Oh. Should I not have done that?"
She strokes the back of Columba, Mei absent tonight.
"This is Columba, he is of the void and chaos that exists outside of this world. He has been with me, since." She counts on her fingers counting up to 4. "Four times ago so that would be. The early 1600's."
Ella Widener
"No no, that's a game mechanic, just means people will have to come back and get take the gym back from you."
-She shakes her head briefly with a small smile-
"The void and chaos outside this world? I admit I am unfamiliar with such a place. But the 1600s hmm? My history isn't exactly what I excelled in, occasionally I'd look up random facts but I don't think I ever really looked too much into that time period."
Titania Sanguine
There is a nod of her head.
"Most are, its where my magic comes from. When I use my abilities creatures come through. I bound Columba and Mei to this plane rather than letting them return."
A tilt of her head. "Im not sure on the general history, I was, unsheathed to work on a specific delicate problem."
Ella Widener
"Unsheathed" you make yourself sound like a weapon, that's unfortunate. I think that we could get you some nice memories this time around that way you would be . . . you know something more than what you just let on."
Titania Sanguine
She shrugs at that.
"Its all ive ever been, all I was allowed to be. Things needed dealing with, I was able to do it."
There is a pause as she mutters under her breath looking away from Ella. "Amaranth."
Ella Widener
"I'm afraid I don't understand the context of that. I believe that amaranth is a type of plant, though its effects and origins of use are unknown to me."
-A pause-
"Well does it seem like you will be "allowed" to be something else this time?"
Titania Sanguine
"There was another group of my kind, causing problems for the city I was living in. I was unsheathed to deal with them."
She smiles at that. "Its the name they picked for themselves. They died their last in the War, its what made me like this."
Then another nod. "Yeah. I think so. Got to learn to be who I was before the war."
Ella Widener
"So that was their group name? I assume your people have a name for that sort of thing too, where a bunch of like minded people get together to accomplish some type of goal. Perhaps you can learn to become someone who is more than the person you were before the war. You have lived longer and thus have more that you've experienced and thus grown from."'
Titania Sanguine
"Oh I was unclear. The group and Amaranth are unrelated. They were my last lover, my last friend."
Then she nods. "Yes, we call them Covenants."
Ella Widener
"Hmm. Well you seem to have picked up a few new friends this time around so that's a partial improvement from the last time, isn't it? While comparing lovers is impossible, it's always nice to have someone to confide in. Someone you can trust with the most secret part of yourself and they trust you with their's."
Titania Sanguine
"I feel i have only picked up one friend but, I appreciate you saying that none the less."
She shakes her head. "No one can compare to Amaranth, we had such history and I dont think I would ever expect anyone to live up to my time with her."
Ella Widener
"That's why I said its impossible to compare lovers. All offer their own unique personalities and having someone for an exceptionally long time, I can't imagine what that'd be like. Especially if it was hundreds of years."
Titania Sanguine
"We were born at the same time as each other. Grew up together. I bought them into the Night. Then I had to watch them leave it."
Her face tenses up at that. "Sorry."
Ella Widener
"Do you want a hug?" -The question sounds sincere- (edited)

"Yes and." A pause. "No at the same time."
"I want a hug and I want to rage and fight and kill." A hint of blood lust coming into her words.

-She reaches out to take Titania's hand, she holds it delicately and begins to sing a calming song, just for her- 5s in an attempt to help sooth your feelings, no supernatural ability
Titania Sanguine
Titania lets her touch, hand shaking slightly, cold to the touch, she is currently a corpse. Listens to the music trying her best to smile.

-Ella doesn't seem to mind the cold of the other woman's hand, she simply continues her song until its conclusion- "That must have been very hard for you to experience, I'm sorry to have brought up such a memory."

"Its not your fault. I just recently consulted my Journals and was reminded how close we were. How Human I was."
Ella Widener
"Is that something you want back? I can help, if you want."
Titania Sanguine
"My Humanity or Amaranth. One of those is Ash in a town that ran red with Blood."

"I regret that I am unable to return the dead to life, I also admit that if I could I would hesitate to use that. Wielding such power is not what I'd personally like to have."

"I know. I assumed. But, had to hope."
There is a long pause before she answers. "Maybe. I know I cant be what I used to be, I have stared into the Void for too long. But, I hope I can be Human enough to at the very least be Humane. To treat others as equals."

"I can be a port for you in a storm where you would otherwise have issues finding one. A safe place for you to speak to, if that is your wish." -5s On Empath, you gain 8-again on your breaking point rolls for the chapter. "I would appreciate though, im not sure where to start."
A pause. "Do I start on things that are relevent now or do I process centuries old Wounds."

"Which place feels most right at this specific moment in your . . . unlife?" -she seems uncertain if the term is correct or not-

"My thoughts are on the, War. I suppose that I should start on old wounds. Though I cannot talk about certain things. We have our secrets to keep."
There is a nod. "Unlife or Nights are generally what I prefer." (edited)

"Then simply be as vague as you feel you need to."
-A nod-
"Very well then, nights it is."

"The Covenant that I belong to is young. We are considered to be the Neo Pagans of Kindred society."
A pause as she thinks. "Eventually we had been pushed down too much and pushed back. It led to a bloodbath, we killed them, they killed us. Many Kindred experienced the Final Death. I had to watch Amaranth burn. Had to watch many of my kind burn. Prosecuted. Killed and burnt for their beliefs."
Her hand twitches, the railing she is leaning on crushed flat. (edited)

"I can't begin to fathom how that must've felt or even how it continues to feel. I can do my best to relate with the experiences I have had. Please continue."

"Amaranth was captured when we were running, they were too slow. Too slow."
Her voice shuddering she continues. "Me and my Sire were the only survivors of that assault. She had to stop me going back in, eventually having to stake me in the heart so I didnt go back in."
"That was the last battle of the war for me, one of the last before they asked for peace talks. After my Lover and Chlide died."

"I am uncertain what the term "Childe" means, but I am quite familiar with what lover means. I will assume that these two combined indicate that the person was remarkably special to you in many ways. I'm sorry for your loss, Titania. Do you have anything in which you can remember her with?"

"A Childe is, its what we call one we embrace. One that we bring into the Night. I turned Amaranth from Human to Kindred."
Her voice breaks as she says that out loud. A shake of her head. "No, nothing that has. Survived."

"Do you dream?"
Titania Sanguine
"It depends on what you mean by that?"
She looks down at the floor. "I see images during the day, some are memories, some are nightmares and occasionally some are nice."
Ella Widener
"Well if you can dream maybe there's a way to pull some of that out of your dreams and into this world. Perhaps something could be crafted from a memory of her and that would give you a true memento."
Titania Sanguine
"They used they and them pronouns."
A pause as she thinks. "I can see their face clearly, I have watched that memory so many times. Would a painting or something like that help?"
Ella Widener
"I apologize." -She pauses for a moment- "Would you prefer a painting? I admit that is something I personally might be able to accomplish but there are others in my group that would specialize a bit better with that. The same would probably be with dreams. I am merely trying to offer options that I can think of. Would you prefer a locket or a full painting?"
Titania Sanguine
"I think a painting. I could put it in my Library. Remember all the times we spent studying together."
A tilt of her head. "Can I ask what having something of theirs would do? The why, as it were."
Ella Widener
"Well I don't know just how humanity works for you, I know how it works for us. If we have something that is significant to us it helps to ground us better. These are usually very personal things to ourselves. I was simply theorizing that perhaps it was a little similar for you based on how you've described your humanity so far in our interactions."
Titania Sanguine
"So it would, maybe, allow me to connect to what I used to be? To be able to more easily to connect to a time when I was closer to Human?"
Ella Widener
"Maybe. I would have to spend more time with you and others who enjoy the night to the same extent that you do."
Titania Sanguine
"The less Human we become, the less, connected the worse. I am far below many others of my kind."
She shrugs. "Its worth trying at least. Most of my memories are of blood, something nice would maybe help. It certainly wouldnt hurt."
Ella Widener
"Well then it appears as if we have the option to try it, if someone could connect with your mind it would probably help them even further bring to life your memory of them. Otherwise we'll rely on your ability to describe them and find someone who's a very experienced artist to craft it."
Titania Sanguine
"I imagine entering my mind would be a, taxing excursion even for one of your kind."
She nods. "If they are willing to try it I am too."
Ella Widener
"I think . . . we both would have taxing minds for others to experience, we all carry burdens that sometimes only we can shoulder."
Titania Sanguine
She nods. "Okay."
Then stands. "Thank you Ella. I think it is time for me to retire. I need to return to Bones so I can see them before I sleep."
Ella Widener
-She takes out a slip of paper and writes something down on it- "That is a way to get in touch with me should you need it. Enjoy your night, Titania."
Titania Sanguine
With that Titania slips around the edge of the building, a Snow Owl and a Raven flying off into the night.
