Ari: On that matter, yes.
M: a member of her society i am acquainted with has in the past told me that he cannot destroy her himself due to the laws of his society; he can't end her. tonight, he called me to his shop and said he had a present. apparently, she had threatened rosalyn of the autumn court, and he had staked her.
i have texted the sakima and been given tacit approval to end her life. i intend to watch a sunset on a rooftop with her, alongside jack and lux.
A: do you need me to cancel date night, or are you good to handle this on your own?
M: i am good to handle this. enjoy your date night. i just wanted you in the loop on this. given that the sakima told me to stand back because 'burning vampire smells bad', i'm not expecting fallout from on high, but better to keep you informed than to have you blindsided.
A: There won't be fallout from on high, but that doesn't mean there won't be fallout. Make sure that High Noon and Midnight know about this, just in case there's fallout from any allies or any people under her sway. When their ... people... get freed, they can be desperate and angry and take unpredictable actions.

M: this is not something i need help with at this time. this is about keeping you in the loop in case it comes up again. a vampire by the name of anna-marie cordray has been antagonizing us and her own kind for the past couple of months, up to and including blackmail and threats against both of my partners.
M: i've been in touch with the local sakima about the matter, and other vampires. today, one who had in the past told me he was not able to destroy cordray without breaking laws told me he had a present. apparently, she'd started a scene in his shop, with another changeling and himself. she's staked. i'm planning on watching the sunrise on a rooftop with my partners and her.
M: the sakima has been informed and given her tacit approval.
M: in short, it's a situation being dealt with, to the best of my ability.
D: define "started a scene"

M: i wasn't there when it happened. rosalyn, of my court, was. but she's been a topic of discussion with ari and the winter knights in the past, as well
M: the vampire texted me because i've been in his shop when she's done her antics in the past. she apparently thought i was a particularly outspoken ghoul, at first.

M: the problem was commissioner anna-marie cordray of the invictus and of no family. the one who staked her was atalo ceres.
D: okay now the other question

M: the vampire cordray has been a topic of discussion.
D: okay so to sum this up entirely: there is an ongoing problem, someone solved it and brought it to you to clean up, this problem included a threat to one of us if not more of us, and now I know about it so I can make sure that Summer knows about it
D: is that the whole of it, restated so I am sure I understand
M: that is the whole of it. ari asked me to make certain that you were informed.
D: if there is even a hint of a further threat from one of her slaves, if she has any, call Wood immediately
