Bones
Tommy, having come recently from a club, is dressed in a beautiful blue dress. She's currently sitting at the table closest to the bulletin board, watching each and every member of the community that approaches it, to see their reaction to the two recent posts. The Mage has a mixture of nervous energy, with a little annoyance, and a large bundle of curiosity on her face.
Titania
Titania often checks the bulletin board itself even if she isnt a regular customer of Maddys she likes to keep up to date with the news.

Tonight it looks like she almost, almost, put in some effort to pass in normal society. She is wearing a tight leather coat, leather pants and boots, her white hair in a high ponytail and her eyes are currently closed. Though she seems to have no difficulty navigating or reading.

As she seems Tommy's attention drawn she wanders over taking a seat her cloak billowing around the seat as she sits. Her eyes remaining closed.

"I take it you are the one that calls themselves Bones?" She asks with a voice of curiosity though there is a weight behind it that betrays her age.
Bones
She stands out of long ingrained habit, and the force of the Kindred's personality infront of her, "Si, Senora. I am called Bones by the Awakened. With whom do I have the pleasure of meeting and speaking?" Bones offered her hand, after doing a polite bow, so that depending on the culture she hopefully wouldn't offend.
Titania
Titania tilts her head a little smile as her appearance has the desired effect.

"Titania will do." She doesnt respond to the bow or the offered hand.

"Yours is not a name I recognize, im relatively new to town, trying to stretch my wings as it were."
Bones
"The Queen of the Seelie Court according to the Bard," she mused, "I am also new to town. As the bulletin says. I'm..." she studied Titania now, going silent. Bones' eyes go from occult sign to the way that the Kindred held herself and everything, "You are a practitioner of a sort, are you not?"
Titania
She smiles again, happy to be being seen for what she is even when doing so much to hide it. There is a practiced click of the tongue almost a call towards the door and her two pets come wandering in from the entrance.

A Cat and a Raven made almost half of shadow make their way inside. The Raven resting on her shoulder, the cat on her lap, a hand gently stroking it.

"I am, though likely not of a magic you would recognize. I know only the basics of your kind ill admit. Not my area of specialty."
Bones
"...Living Shadows? Very... very curious," her eyes widened, "That's spectacular even. I've seen others do things with shadow but... fabulous. Absolutely stunning," her voice gained an edge of excitement, like a child seeing a new candy bar, "...when we know each other better, I would love a chance to Look at them."
Titania
Titania chuckles.

"Maybe another night, perhaps when you have something of interest for me to look at. Though we could trade knowledge, you look at my little pets, I learn about your society. That would be an equal trade." A moment of pause. "I know you didnt wish for it to be a trade but that is how my kind works."
Bones
"Oh, no, I understand the need to trade things like that," Tommy smiled, "I wish to help the city thrive, but this? This is personal investigation and learning. There is always a trade there, whether financial at an university, or in-kind," she mused, memories flashing before her gaze for a moment, "However, I don't mean offence, but since you bring it up... I notice you haven't breathed since you arrived. And my sense of time tells me that it's still dark out, so..." Dr. Shanks let that statement end silently once more.
Titania
"Nor have you caused it. Im impressed that you noticed, it isnt often that people will notice how far from human I am. I have not breathed nor has my heart beaten in nigh 800 years."

She lets it hang for a moment. "Why do you ask?"
Bones
"I've met very few of your society. There's a few that I met down in Mexico City and elsewhere in my travels, but never had someone that I knew that practiced that sort of magic," Tommy took a deep breath and then smiled, "Eight-Hundred Years... All that History to us is your past. All of the knowledge, the life, " she catches herself starting to babble again and falls silent.
Titania
A raised eyebrow. "All that life." A chuckle. "An interesting turn of phrase. I was born in 1208 in Neuss Germany. During the height of the Holy Roman Empire." A trace of an accent that she has clearly spent centuries learning to hide coming through.

"A fellow scholar I see." The accent gone to be replaced by one you cant quite place. Made up of too many places, generic in every way.
Bones
"Sorry, no offence intended," at her turn of phrase, "But, while you do not breathe, you still live in terms of exist. And yes, an Archaeologist specifically. I have been to castles being dug out from the 1400s. You had already had two centuries in your li--existence by then. So speaking to not just someone who was there but someone whom practices? Who has seen the ways of practices come and go, Christianity grow and falter and split and grow, and the 'Heathens' forced to hide and then to come back..." again another breath, the impatience of the scholar surfacing once again.
Titania
"No offense given, simply." A pregnant. Almost arrogant pause."Educating. I died almost 800 years ago. Though I walk through this world I am not alive by any stretch of the imagination."

A grin as she continues to talk. A scholar so excited to be able to share her passions. "Oh the things you would do to get your hands on this." As she pulls a leather bound tome from her coat. "The histories of my magic, how it has grown, how we made the others respect it." A chuckle and the book slides back into her jacket.

"But, I would get in trouble for sharing too much of that history. For example." Another pregnant weighted pause. "If I was to open my eyes you would turn to stone in front of me."
Bones
SHe made a move forwards towards the book, before catching herself, "Oh. Um. Yes. That does sound so... interesting," she licked her lips a bit and then breathed out again, "I've been rude. I apologize. You approached me originally because of the note. Is there something which I can do to help?"
Titania
"Oh but I do love to see one so intruiged." A cheeky grin on her lips. "You have not been rude. I have been playing with one not used to our kind."

She leans back in her chair smiling.

"I approached as you were a name I dont recognize and I wished to meet a new face. I will have to think on my dreams to see if there is a way I can help you with your work. But no, for today I simply wished to meet a new face in town."
Bones
"Oh. Okay," she looke down at her drink and food remnants and realized that they weren't that important. Then Bones looked up at Titania, "Well, rather than ask a thousand questions for 800 years worth of history, let me ask you, did you have anything you wish to ask of me?" she slid down into the chair finally, looking across to Titania.
Titania
"Hmm." A pause as she thinks a moment. "I am curious what your title means. Second Degree Master Bones of the Mysterium. I would call that a relatively easy question for our first conversation."
Bones
"Aha! That's actually a shortened version. Among my people, in official matters, I am Second Degree Master Bones, Mystagogue and Theurge on the Path to the Aether, Supernal Realm of Prime and Forces, and abode of Angels, Master of Prime and Forces, Adept of Time, Disciple of Life and Spirit," a breath, "which means that I am really good at the Magic of the Elements, the Magic of ... Magic itself, and then various levels of the other stuff." "And the Mysterium just means the group to which I belong."
Titania
Titania nods following the title.

"Ah I understand. Good at Magic, Elements and you belong to the Mysterium. I need to update my official title before I give you that. I have performed tasks since I last woke that may have changed things."
Bones
"What sort of things do you do?"
Titania
"I take care of problems, things that are causing problems for our kind. Creatures that are causing problems. I deal with them. Before they become worse."

She chuckles her tongue running across those elongated fangs.

"I bite the problem so others dont have to."
Bones
Her eyes latch onto the fangs, and without the gaze moving, "Ah. Yes. Something that every society needs to have, especially in out secretive sorts."
Titania
She nods. "Im the weapon you pull out when less diplomatic solutions fail. The, uh, Nuclear option as it were."
Bones
"That makes it an even stronger simile, and more ... insightful, I think," her gaze hasn't left the fangs, "I'm the specialist when the books fail, I guess you could say."
Titania
"I think that makes us almost similar sides of the respective coins for our societies."
Bones
"Mmm, I'm not the best in a fight, though years among werewolves, spirits, ghosts, and worse, I've had to learn how to defend myself to a point."
Titania
"Hmm. If the books fail, what then is left? Werewolves and Ghosts are my purview of expertise. You intrigue me even further Bones."
Bones
She blushed, deeply, coughing a bit, "Um. My knowledge and instincts and experience... I've been in more ruins and seen more symbols than many on the planet... I was trying to make a play on words... It'd be like running into a math problem and calling in Isaac Newton," picking a historical reference might help, "And um, yeah. I'm not a specialist in ghosts, and I'm middling with spirits, but I've dealt with many in the Old Places."
Titania
She nods, understanding. "So, winging it is your specialty. I can admire that." And as she says that a pair of leathery wings sprout from her back with a chuckle. "I had to, the play on words was too good."
Bones
Tommy held up their hands, and webbing appeared between the fingers in response to the wings, "Similar toys, too."
Titania
"Ooooh. I like it. Melding of the flesh. It appears you have toys similar to my own. Though these are not the magic I practice. They come from the blood." A long tail reaching up to push hair out of her face.

"I think I would enjoy sharing notes some day."
Bones
"I would certainly enjoy, one of these nights, sharing many notes with you," and the hands return to normal, "I am certainly curious about all of the capabilities that you are willing to share.... or, as you said, trade."
Titania
"We can teach each other about our kind to the extent our societies can allow. I would quite like that. Some of what I can tell you about but not show, certainly not here. Given the effects some of those powers have on the minds of others."

She pauses for a moment. "Sadly most minds cannot comprehend the beauty of some of my forms."

Bones
Tommy smiled at the comments about beauty, and her form shifted, becoming almost a mirror to Titania herself, approximately the same height, weight, skintone (for a mortal), hair. It isn't perfect, and some of her features are still there, "Some minds are more flexible."
Titania
A smile as her form shifts. "Perhaps. We shall see how far I can push that mind of yours. Whilst this has been a lovely evening I should be getting home before sunrise. Winter cannot come soon enough, longer nights."

She rises from her seat, wings flapping gently behind her. "Good evening Bones. May your research be fruitful and I will get back to you with that."
Bones
"Blessings to you and yours, Titania," as her form returned, "It is a pleasure to have met you..." she offered a business card to the vampire, "... should you need to reach out."
Titania
The raven swoops down from her shoulder taking the card before landing back on her shoulder. The cat cradled in her hands. "Thank you."

And she flies out the door off into the night.
