Magdalene/Introduction

Magdalene admits to no family name, and Magdalene might not even be her birth name. She's had many names over the decades, and twice as many life stories. That said, she's been in Philly for a decade and a half now and seems intent on staying. An avowed antifascist, she delights in hounding the Philly Police Department, but she realizes that making them too afraid tends to cause officers (and often the department as a whole) to lash out, usually at vulnerable populations, which is the opposite of what she wants. So she walks a fine line. But if even one officer ends up quitting because he's hounded by nightmares of what he's done or might do? Well, that's all in a days work.

She's willing to help go up against other unjust authorities as well, though she knows from experience that governmental and/or corporate change is an agonizingly slow process that needs more than one person on board. Especially since for various reasons she doesn't make the best 'face' of a movement. Then again, she has knowledge and resources she's willing to put at others' disposal. And she certainly has time.
