What would you do with what is, essentially, immortality? True, as the years pass by, and the cost of your youth and preternatural beauty grow, the costs of your life may begin to niggle at your conscience. How much is your life worth, compared to the damage you cause just by existing? Will there come a point where what you must do just to forestall aging becomes more of a burden than your soul can carry? Or will you become callous as you age, selfish and certain of the value of your life over the lives of all of those you sup from, just to continue to exist?

True, you needn't kill to survive. But you can. You may. And sometimes, isn't that just easier? You can become preternaturally beautiful-- a useful trick when you feed by touch --but you'll run out of suitors at some point. Won't you? And isn't it getting tiresome, leaving a stream of insensate and used up people in your wake? Are you still even a person, or are you becoming a monster? Is there even a difference there worth noting? Humans kill for their food as a matter of course. When you do it, it's usually an accident.

While it's true that all Psychic Vampires are human, not all of them act like it. It's a diverse population, after all. Full of different people afflicted for different reasons. All with different opinions on what it is to exist like this. What's yours? And what lengths will you go to to see that vision through?
