Bad Dads Club: Non-consensual embraces are an executable offense, but you can't be executed if they can't find you. Her sire, Victor Koenig, made her what she was because he needed a compliant kindred to feed from. And now he's gone forever. She's left with a curse she never asked for and no one to turn to about it. If you have even remotely similar experiences, she'd love to talk through them with you and then go smash some shit to deal with the resulting emotions.

Addiction is a Powerful Thing: Even before getting embraced, Rena had a tiny bit of a drug problem. It's why she was a great mark for her sire. Someone he knew could be easily controlled. And control her he did. She's been left with a vitae addiction and a stage 3 blood bond to him. And it hurts. A lot. She needs to fix that. But until she figures out how to, she's doing her best to manage her cravings. She's sating the need for Vitae with hard drugs fed to junkies that she drinks from. The need for him is a little harder but she goes to recovery meetings at a local outreach group to talk through things the best she can.

And, Oh Yes, She Sees Ghooooooosts: As a Khaibit, she can see ghosts. And strix. And she can punch them. Or stab them as the case may be. If you need a haunting investigated or a ghost busted, come to her. She told the Ordo when she joined, in case they needed someone to help find a Perilous nest.

That's Unusual!: Blushing costs Vitae. Vitae means needing to eat later. Which means cravings that she can't fill. Cravings that gnaw on your insides and make your skin feel like its going to come undone. So in most places she remains unblushed. That's not an immediate tip off, her look is such that looking corpsey just makes her look like an addict you'd see on the street, but looking closely enough shows that she isn't breathing. She also moves too fast for a normal person and with too much force. Her walking slow somehow covers nearly as much ground as a normal person running. If you're on the lookout for supernatural things, Rena might be the easiest to find.

Odd Man Out: Rena isn't exactly comfortable with Kindred society. Getting told that they're untrustworthy and you should avoid them will do that to you. So while she'll go to Elysiums, she is always on edge about it and prefers to be elsewhere. Meaning she's usually in an endless stream of dives and parks and abandoned buildings and other places that won't kick out the homeless.

Nasty Crimegirl: A lot of vampires start to feel invincible when they first get powers that let them punch holes in walls and get shot without noticing. Rena didn't wait for the vampire powers for that. Anyone who knew Rena before getting turned knew her as the person who wasn't afraid to go up against impossible odds swinging. The girl who broke that guy's leg for misgendering Bug. The girl who stole a mugger's knife from his hands. The girl who three-pointered a lit bag of dog shit into a cop car's open window. If anything, getting the super powers has made her calm down. But a combination of bravery, bone-headed stupidity and a pathological need to prove herself has resulted in Rena needing to do one crazy thing after the next. A parallel could be drawn to addiction.

No Dogs Allowed: Rena is extremely afraid of dogs. She hates them with a deep abiding passion. Back before she was turned, it was the one thing she couldn't help Big Bug deal with. Now it's a revulsion bordering on frenzy material. If you give her any shit for it, she'll teach you a lesson in respecting phobias or at least in respecting phobias held by people who hit like mack trucks. She doesn't tell people where the fear stems from and anyone but Big Bug asking will get a death glare.
