“All our municipal governments are more or less bad. Philadelphia is simply the most corrupt and the most contented.” Lincoln Steffens, 1903.

osalyn is a vision of idealized beauty, flawless, graceful, and entirely unhappy about the situation. The Fairest was created in the image of idealized beauty and detests those who judge her based upon her appearance rather than her own accomplishments.

It hadn't bothered her before she was taken. As a young woman in the 19teens it was just another tool in her social arsenal. She had been raised to privilege, the daughter of a wealthy and corrupt Philadelphia politician. Even then Rosalyn had been more than a pretty face, and had played an important role in public life. As a socialite she used her charm and social skills to help woo other important, wealthy, (and even criminal) elements of Philadelphia society to support her father's politial and financial goals. These days her accomplishments go beyond the dancing, piano, and dressage to include navigating the hedge and oneiros. She has honed her skills on horseback and off, and has added archery to her repetoire.

Rosalyn is new to the freehold and practically fresh from the hedge but she's ready to make a name for herself in Autumn alongside her mount Elio. She isn't touch shy or nervous around others. Arcadia had been a lonely existence and while she spends a great deal of time in the hedge, she is an extrovert and appreciates spending time with people.

Although she feels the rage of Summer at what happened, Rosalyn has chosen to look forward instead of backwards and embraced the Ashen Court. Getting pissed and trying to fight directly are for those who can't think of better ways to come at the problem. Fear was key in helping her find her way home; she believes sorcery and power will keep her here.
