Blue Doll Tea & Coffee is a cozy little 24-hr café situated in North Philadelphia. The walls are lined with shelves of various teas and coffees, all meticulously organized by region/method of creation/style/flavor profile. There are a handful of tall booths scattered around the customer floor, soft lighting, and chill music that create a pleasantly snug vibe. Lost will always find a friendly, sympathetic face behind the counter, as Changelings (NPCs or PCs) are exclusively employed by the owner.

Beneath the store, past a hidden door is what can only be described as a bunker featuring two separate rooms: a completely soundproofed office behind (yet another) reinforced steel door, and a soundproofed place to sleep in the event someone (or multiple people) needs to hide out.

Hooks:

  1. Haven for the Lost - Though the Blue Doll isn't a changeling specific roleplay venue, it is definitely geared towards catering to their needs.
  2. Didn't This Used To Be... - Rumor has it the building was used as a front for K&A's money laundering operation in the 1970's. Wonder how the owner got ahold of it?
  3. Don't Make Me Get The Manager - The Blue Doll is neutral ground. Not quite a sanctuary, but if you start shit, you can guarantee that you'll find an encounter with a very angry former MMA fighter in a frilly pink apron. Its outfitted with a silent alarm that pings her phone directly in the event of a break-in, or if one of the staff feel unsafe.
  4. Know Your Rights - The best way to bury something is to do so in bureaucracy. All of the staff are trained in understanding their legal rights, and how they can be used to obfuscate against all but the most egregious of police violence and overreach. If you need to hide, you're safe from prying mortal eyes here.
