Elysium

There are a few designated Elysium locations in the city. Among the most commonly used are the ones listed here.

Rules

The rules standard to every Elysium in the city are as defined below. These rules apply to all recognized members of the Sakima's domain, be they vampire or ghoul, as well as to any guests at the Elysium who are there with permission of the Keeper, one of the Sagamores, or Sakima Saagochque. They don't apply to anyone who isn't so recognized.

• Don't use disciplines on another.
• Do not inflict bodily harm on another, or threaten to do so.
• Weapons can be carried, but not brandished.
• Don't destroy either Elysium property, or the property of another.

Bellevue Hotel

Located blocks from city hall, right in the heart of Philadelphia, and above a rail line that makes it easy to get in and out of the area, the Bellevue Hotel is probably the most used Elysium in the city.

While much of the hotel is open to ordinary visitors, a number of areas have been designated for use of the kindred and their affiliates. This includes half of one floor, where a handful of rooms are available to be booked by Kindred who want a temporary haven, either for convenience or need.

There are also designated offices for many of the city's officials, including the Keepers for each Elysium, the Sagamores, and the Sakima.

One of the two domed rooms at the top of the hotel is also set up as a lounge for kindred and ghoul use, with a well stocked bar, staff at the ready, and a great view.

Frankford Chocolate Factory

The Frankford Chocolate Factory is a bit outside of the heart of Philly, and is the site of a 150 year old factory that has been out of use for some time now. From the outside it looks like a dump. It turns out to be a reasonably well secured dump, with gated fences, security systems,and most of what could have once been windows now bricked over.

Inside it a well maintained facility, but only where things are tucked away from possible prying eyes. Even someone flying a drone around the building to look inside will only see what really appears to be a run down factory, but once you get past the disused layers there are well light hallways, small apartments including safe rooms, and a large chamber that serves as the Elysium's lounge. There's plent of comfortable seating, including table & chair combinations as well as sofas, piles of cushions, and reading nooks, but there's also a stage that has all of the equipment someone might need to put on a performance, whether that's music, or comedy or unholy rituals to summon dark powers.

Bala Cynwyd House

Located out the Main Line, Bala Cynwyd and the area around it serve as home to a lot of the areas wealthy who want to be away from the bustle of the city and have a little room to spread out. For those of the Kindred who are among that number, the Elysium in Bala Cynwyd is a place to meet and discuss business without commuting all the way into the city itself.

The building is a large, well furnished house, both in its outward appearance to anyone who might happen by, as well as inside. It's located well back from the road on a private drive, secluded to anyone who doesn't make an effort to trespass, and with walls and security around its grounds, trespasses are likely to have more trouble than they'd think its worth to take a closer look.
