Port Richmond Shepherds: Yllka is the leader of a new gang that has sprung up in Port Richmond, and their takeover of their current territory was as bloody as it was quick. As far as most people on the outside are concerned they weren't there one day and the next day they were. That next day came along with a few other new developments, including a handful of gruesomely murdered human traffickers that local law enforcement hadn't even been aware were operating in the area, a number of new missing person cases, and a community that seemed more than happy to have not seen anything at all when the police came around asking questions.

Immigrant: Yllka's accent marks her pretty clearly as an immigrant. It's less obvious that she's not a legal one, or that she's lived in a number of different places at various stages of her life, displaced first by war, then by family, and then by the kinds of predators she has turned her renewed life into a crusade against.

Ghostly Lighthouse: Yllka is like a beacon for the ephemeral dead, and ghosts flock to her. Her just being in the neighborhood can be enough to thin the walls between the living and the dead, and spooky things tend to happen in her presence even when ghosts aren't just showing up, and they're often showing up or already hanging around. Often enough they do more than hang around, making use of her liminal aura to possess objects... or people.

Shepherd's Rest: The building that the Port Richmond Shepherds use as their headquarters is a former hotel, which has been refurbished and rehabilitated so that it's in better shape than it has been in decades. While there are no signs on the building it has come to be known as the Shepherd's Rest by members of the gang and people in the community. There's a bar which is open to the public and serves decent food, and rumor has it -- correctly -- that many of the women that always seem to be hanging around are either currently or formerly sex workers. Rumor also has it -- often correctly -- that the Rest is particularly haunted, but the Shepherds tend to view the resident ghosts as guardians rather than threats.
