Juliet had gotten a request to meet from Tonya and was told to simply come by the club, even though right now was fairly decent club time, there were places that they could go on the premises that they wouldn't be disturbed

Tonya was not the most club person, but was also confident that nothing would happen because of how crowded the space was. Tonya stood by the bar, looking certainly lost, and... on edge is likely the best way to describe it.

Well she certainly doesn't need to wait long before Juliet descends down to the main floor and moves to the bar to escort Tonya someplace a bit less rowdy. The two of them make their way down into the mansion below the club. Which of course means going through a few security doors, which no normal home would ever have any use for. Tonya is met with a semi-familiar living room setting that has all the modern comforts that are normally allocated to a person plus several that simply are not. Juliet takes a seat in a chair near one of the couches and pushes her hair to the side before she finally speaks
"What brings you here tonight, Miss Brooks?"

"Thank you for your audience, Right Honorable Marquise Morrigan."
Her eyes survey the space, looking over the changes, and appreciating the details that stayed the same.
"I wished to talk about Vincent. You know him far better than I do, and I do not wish to cause conflict between our groups so soon after my return. But he has...left me anxious and nervous."

tilts her head ever so slightly to the right, curiosity of her features fairly obvious. One her age being able to so seemlessly behave like a human is something of a feat. She taps her lips with an index finger for a moment before she responds "And what exactly has been done to make you feel this way?"

And that feat was something Tonya by far respected of her, and was a large reason she enjoyed the Dame Knight's presence.
"Seeking out my safe haven and hollow. I denied giving him the information, discreetly of course as we were in public, but he has since sought out another of my group. One of those who escaped with me...and pried the information that way. He left a gift basket outside our public library, for 'new friends and neighbors'."
She shakes her head.
"So fresh from the Thorns, I felt quite unsafe. If there was a privateer watching... or anything else."
She shakes her head, still very on edge.
"I Light-Shy'd to her here, similar to your... Im unsure which dicipline helps you hide, but it has similar effects."

"The one you refer to is most likely obfuscate."
She offers and even nods while listening to the other disclose her feelings
"Are you certain that he was acting with malevolence towards you? Because what you described to me does not sound very much like something Mister Drake would do. The gift basket sounds around what his behavior would normally be but prying information from someone else is not something I could see him doing to a member of your society. Especially given his . . . affection for your people."

"I'm not sure. I'm really not, but what I know is that I denied information and he asked someone else for the same information. It may not have been with malevolence but it does frighten me that he would reveal us so openly."
She shakes her head slowly.
"I am terrified of being found, Dame Knight. I do not wish to need to escape a third time, and this action seems poorly thought out in the best case scenario."

She nods and it is fairly clear that she is simply trying to understand where Tonya is coming from before she does anything on her end.
"That part could very well be possible. Sometimes Mister Drake can be a bit rash with his actions. However, I do possess a way to solve this issue fairly easily. I can request Mister Drake meet us here and he can answer any questions you have. If he lies, I will know and be able to inform you. Would such a meeting help you feel better?"

She looks a bit suspicious, but nods.
"I think that would be a wonderful solution, Dame Knight. You...will inform me, yes? Regardless of what it may say of his character?"

She nods
"I have been your friend for decades and I have no intention on breaking that friendship today or ever. At least not on purpose. I will do what I must do to ensure that this situation is resolved and that you may go about your business without worry from people who associate with me."

It takes her a second of pause, before nodding slowly. Breaking out of that spiral of panic.

Vincent was summoned by his Liege, thus he arrived, about thirty mins later as he was elsewhere, he was wearing a crimson shirt, black paints and a black waist coat.
"You summoned me Dame Knight." he nodded in deference, "Tonya, good to see you." he smiled warmly

"It has come to my attention that Miss Brooks did not disclose the location of her home and you somehow managed to obtain this knowledge anyway. Is this correct?"

Tonya nods to Vincent, she has likely requested a drink in the interrim if Juliet was willing to oblige. Not that she was drinking much of it...but sometimes you just wanna swirl and sip at a drink.

he sat down in the chair. Then he blinked, remembering what Lamp said about Tonya being upset.
"Yes my Lady, that is correct." he answered truthfully

"He answers truthfully. Was this done with malicious or intent to cause distress upon Miss Brooks?"
Juliet for her part does not appear to be angry, she seems to be trying to get to the truth behind the situation so it can be properly resolved.

Tonya didn't...look upset, she was very neutral. She sips her drink at the reveal it was truthful.

"No it was not, furthermore, I did not even ask or lead the conversation to gain such knowlege, I had a meal with Miss.Candles, during the meal she made a comment about a library, I merely asked which one and she told me, I put two and two together and deduced it was the Hollow." he said, both true

She nods slowly to the answer it was true.
"No, thank you. And I apologize for being presumptuous. Learning we were found that easily...scared me I believe. We do appreciate the gift, Mister Drake."
A slightly shaky breath. The drink sloshed just barely.

"I am happy that we were able to come to a conclusion on this issue and resolve it. I can understand how having ones' home found out when one did not disclose it could be stressful to say the least. I sincerely hope that this proves my commitment to open and honest communication with my friends, allies, and associates."

"I feel going forward perhaps we should be a little more cautious, just in case. That way we can avoid another situation such as this. While I do not have any issue mediating, I believe that it would be better for everyone overall for these types of situations to simply not happen."

"I accept your apology. Please, just be careful with those kinds of things. Some Lost have abilities that can piece through Ofuscate, or Light Shy. Sometimes your will is stronger, but sometimes theirs is. With how new we are, and with so little time to ground ourselves in the communities here, it is easy to pick us out as targets. Not to mention we tend to he weaker from the Thorns. These factors make it much easier to put us in danger."
An offered hand to hold.
"I hope you do not think I am upset. Scared, yes. Worried for Lamp and Hiroko, certainly. But never upset."

"I have high hopes for you, and I do wish for friendship. I hope I am an ally of the Invictus, if not the whole of the local Kindred, although my absence may have caused some wrinkles there."

"Believe it or not, even I was a little brazen back in my early years. It took some time but I did eventually get my priorities sorted out. Sometimes I wonder if being welcomed into this unlife simply has that effect on people."

"I'm not sure it is just the unlife. I was brazen at first when I discovered this world was real. But that may need more research."
A smile and nod.
"Thank you for being willing to clear things up. I do think I should take my leave as well to make sure Hiroko is okay and that Lamp has stayed out of trouble."
She said it like an exasperated parent.

"I'm unsure if you remember my capabilities from before, but I am quite diminished. Many of the things I could do before were...torn out of me. I am hoping to repair this over time, but I will not be as effective as I once was."

"I am afraid that I do not know any of your powers to help you relearn them. I am of course saddened to hear that you underwent something of that magnitude. You are however . . . strong in your own sense. Have faith in yourself and I am certain you will rediscover the knowledge that you once possessed."
