Log

Lux

Lux is, as it turns out, still here. Their plates and milkshake have been cleared and taken away, and now there's a simple soda in front of them. They have their phone out, idly swipping through... probably Instagram or some other social media chat. On the table there's an open sketchbook, sketches of whimsical, dream-like imagery sprawled chaotically over the pages.
Blue
Blue was out for her evening run and so stopped in at Maddys for dinner, especially now that they had her Shashlik recipie it was becoming a regular occurance.

She stopped in at the counter ordering a plate, grabbing some coffee, a soda and ordering a milkshake.

Wearing leggings, a leather jacket with blue accents and docs she looks around for who she knows tonight.

A gentle wave to Lux. "Hey."
Bones
The Obrimos named Bones came through the portal with a denim skirt and jean, and a white tee beneath. She moved very fluidly and spoke with a bouncing level of happiness as they are wont to do.

She kept skipping to the counter, grabbing the carafe and the mug from the counter, her gaze didn't seem to move around the room but she said, "Hello, Lux, Archimedes."
Thespis
A new face walked in the portal, a handsome man, about early 30's with fine clothes. He seemed to look around with an amused look before shrugging to himself and walking over to where the menu was, taking a look at it.

"Philadelphia has it's surprises it seems." he says, to himself but loud enough for folks to hear
Lux
Lux glances up as the dinner starts filling up, offering Bones a playful grin in greeting. "Hey there." The other two get curious glances and nods in greeting. "Hey."
Blue
"Sorry, we only met in passing a while ago."

A nod to Lux. "Blue. Nice to meet you again." Then a smile to Bones. "Hey Bones."
Bones
Seeing the new face, she says "Hi. I'm Bones. Welcome to Maddy's. I'm One of the Awakened," and then she skipped over to the table and plopped the mug and carafe down, before sliding in next to Lux. The last encounter seemed to imply good flirting fun and cuddling capabilities, so she slid into the booth next to Lux, then offering the other seat across for Blue.

"New guy. You can grab a chair and sit on the end if you'd like?"
Lux
"Oh right! Sorry." They puff out a breath. "My memory has been a little blurry lately. It's good to see you again too, Blue. Have a seat?"

Lux clearly does not mind Bones sliding in beside them, lounging comfortably in the booth. "I'm Lux," they add to the newbie.
Thespis
He turns and raises an eyebrow, but in amusement rather than anything else, "And friendly too. . .a charming city," he has a micro debate with himself before settling a name, "Thespis, he/him, a pleasure. . .I'm sorry, by which pronouns may I address you?"
Bones
"Oh, as presenting which right now," she glances down, a brow at Lux, with a stage whisper, "I'm femme, right? I lose track sometimes."
Blue
Blue chuckles at Bones before turning to Thespis. "Blue, She or they works for me."
Lux
"They/them," Lux says. "Thanks for asking." They pick up their phone to idly tap out a few texts as they listen to the introductions. "Mm, we're a pretty friendly city, yes." They huff in amusement at Bones. "Yes, you are a very pretty femme right now."
Thespis
his eyes seem to gleam at Bone's introducing themself as Awakened, and walks over taking the seat offered, "One of the Awakened. . .so I was not lied to when told this is a neutral ground for all kinds. . .if you don't mind me asking, are you a fellow Warlock?" he smiles, and turns to Blue, "It's nice to meet you Blue," and then to Lux, "Charmed and I'm happy to meet such friendly people, I've just moved here Los Angelous and seek to meet the local Consilium. . .fellow Awakened."
Bones
"Then yes, She/hers, if'n you'll please, and you're a very handsome and beautiful person, Lux. Thank you!"

"Ugh, demons? No thanks. I am aligned with Truth, the Power of Magic and the Fires of Creation," a grin, teasing in her tone."
Blue
Blue gently raises a hand. "I am too, im just new to the game as it were."

"A pretty femme and a handsome they, them. What a start to the night."
Lux
Lux gives Thespis a curious, appraising look. "Hmm... So you haven't officially joined the Consilum? What Order are you?"

They are distracted by Thespis, but they do shoulder-bump Bones playfully. "Thanks, cutie."
Fox
Sometimes being a Time Adept means your Timing is hilaribad. Fox, wearing a tank top, shorts, and flip flops (Maddy says no waffles without shoes!), has a big ol' grin on her face when she comes scampering in to Maddy's, looking for .... Lux! Spotting the Lost, she heads right for them...

... and face-first into the word Guardian.

She pulls up short, and she tries to Be Cool, but Fox is a shitty liar, and her smile turns into bared teeth. "... hi, Lux."
Blue
She listens to Thespis speak before chucking at Foxes entrance.

"Hey Fox. You okay?"
Bones
"Don't forget the awesome Ace, Blue."

"Oh. Cool. I've got titles for days, but not in the mood for it right now," then she paused to tilt her head and look at Fox, before doing their best to give them space, "I'll give you the quick one, Second Degree Master Bones, Mystagogue of the Obrimos... do you have a cellphone? If so, may I see it? ANd if so may I access it's internal information in order to provide contact information to those whom should be informed?"
Lux
Lux's head tilts, giving Thespis a curious smile. "Oh, wow, you're really new to town, huh?" And then there's a Fox, and they give the Thrysus a fond look. "Hey love. Seems we have a new friend."
Thespis
He turns to where Lux and Blue look, seeing the arrival and giving a friendly nod and wave, "Greetings," he says before looking back to Bones, handing her his phone, "If you could, that would be a help, I hope I didn't break any decorum by looking around town before introducing myself," he then turns to Lux, "Los Angeles and I had good time but change is needed for growth so I've decided to stretch my wings as it where," he smiles taking three cards and sliding them to the three, white buisness cards with the Melpomene Agency in golden cursive and a phone number, "My card as it where." Mage and Talent Agent it seems
Fox
"There is nothing wrong that anyone can fix at the moment," Fox answers Blue, "Except for Lux to give me smooches and for me to get some tiramisu waffles."

She finishes her approach and drapes herself in Lux's lap lazily. First, kisses for Darklings. Second, "Hey Bones, hey Blue." Third, stare at Thespis with her glittering gold eyes. "Hmm."
Blue
Ylva's Shashliks turn up and she happily digs in before ordering another plate noticing how big the table has gotten.

"I cant offer Waffles but I gave them Mama's recipe for Shashlik. Its all I got."
Fox
After a moment's pause, she turns her attention to Thespis and adds, very precisely, "Third Degree Master Revontulet, Orphan of Proteus, Scion and Shaman on the Path to the Primal Wild, Supernal Realm of Spirit and Life, and abode of Beasts, Emissary to the Spirit Nations from the Children of the Martyr's Tree of the Lesser Convocation of the Northeast, Master of Life, Matter and Spirit, Adept of Fate and Time, Hearthmaster of жар-птица, also known as the Firebirds."
Bones
She looked at the phone, and there was a chirp and suddenly the numbers of the Herald, Peacekeeper, and the contact number for the Guardians were on the phone. The flash of magic was quick and occurred before the phone was set down.

"Hello Fox, nice to see you again," she flashed a smile.

And then waited for the rest to go through
Lux
Lux leans back in their seat to give Fox room to wiggle onto their lap. Their long lean arms drape around her comfortably, kissing her on the lips. A light but fond smooch-smooch, delicate fingers settling on her hip. They're content to fall quiet for the moment otherwise, watching the mage politics play out curiously. But they do take a business card to peer at, brow arching. "Ohh-hm."
Thespis
his cell rings, "Yeah. .. what do you mean they mixed up the boxes," he face palms, "I'm sorry, moving sucks, I got to get going," he stands and walks off, "It's nice meeting you all, I would love to finish this convo." he says as he enters the portal
Lux
"See you, Thespis," Lux calls after, tucking the business card away into a pocket. Then they go back to snuggling Fox into their lap, glancing sideways to Bones. "Hmm, so... dream stuff, right? Thankfully Fox is here--she can fill in the blanks I don't know. There is... so much going on. I feel like I only have a small piece of the puzzle..."
Bones
"Would you like me to contain the sound and the light from this booth?" as they finished up looking over the grouping.
Fox
"We can get to-go containers and uhhh, I can make us a secure place to talk," Fox offers, ruching around in Lux's lap until she's comfy. And possibly just wiggling their butt in Lux's lap.
Blue
"Im okay with either. Whatever makes everyone happy."

She looks down at her plates. "And I get to eat these."
Lux
"That might be good, actually," Lux gives Fox a grateful look. "And of course, food to go. It's been an hour since I've had sugar. I need more waffles, clearly."
Bones
"Oh. that... that would work... to go containers works. Ididn't think of that right away."
Fox
"Why would you think of me making a Spirit Manse right away?" asks the Thyrsus with a delighted peal of laughter. She orders multiple servings of tiramisu waffles and really crispy lamb bacon bc Maddy is the kind of awesome person to special order kosher lamb bacon for the Jewish contingent. Also she gets coffee.

The first time that Fox turns their hands in the air, working the mudra, it sort of... fizzles. And she frowns. Annoyed, she turns her hand again, the brontium inlay on her wedding ring flashing, and a shimmering iris opens in the aisle.

"There."
Blue
Picking up some to go containers and her last order of Shashlik she stands. Waiting for the others.
Lux
Lux gathers up their sketchbook and food (and a Fox, just picking her up to carry), and steps into the pocket dimension.

"So," Lux says, looking much more comfortable once inside the little bubble of safety and privacy. "I assume you two know at least the basics about the Seers of the Throne?" They look between Bones and Blue. "What about Panopticon?"
Bones
"Thank you, Fox. I appreciate you. I can't wait to hear dream stuff! I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready..." she flowed to her feet and followed! Then gave the thumbs up, "I know a chunk. And Lyuda told me some when I got to town. But anything that y'all can share would be good.
Blue
"I know the basics. What I was able to find. Im sure im missing some but yeah."
Fox
Fox's Spirit Manse isn't large, but it's comfortable. Comfortable is, in fact, the operative word for it. She could probably make a whole mansion if she wanted to, but Fox's standing Manse that she pulls out of her pocket, so to speak, is approximately 12' x 12', with a soft mossy floor and pillars for the walls made of trees with a softly-glowing green light illuminating the space. There are soft moss-like puffs on the floor like giant bean bag chairs, and a couple of multi-person hammocks hanging between the trees.

The walls themselves are transparent, allowing those within to see the spirits of the forest outside Maddy's, and the little choirs in the wafflehouse, wandering about. The Manse itself is somehow outside of Maddy's, it's its own thing. "Eeeee!" squeals Fox when she gets carried in by Lux. When everyone else comes in, the iris closes. "You can leave whenever you want, you're not trapped," she notes, "And they can't see us, we can see them." This, apparently, about the forest spirits wandering past outside. She holds the carafe of coffee and the mugs they borrowed, wiggling her toes happily until Lux puts her down.
Lux
"Ooh, this is niiiice," Lux says with a look around, swinging Fox in a circle before setting her down.

"Where to start... okay. Well--I'll start where the dreams started, I guess." Lux digs out their cell phone and pokes it, pulling up a note file. "Several months ago, people started having strange dreams. It happened all over the city, among those who are not quite normal or mortal. People remembered bits and pieces, but me and a few others remembered it all. These dreams had meanings, symbols. They're... warnings, I think. Some of them represent individual people. Me and Vasya--sorry, Lyuda--have deciphered a handful of their meanings, but some of them are still unknown--though she was quite clever, and used coins with labels of various words and names, threw them at a bullseye, and was able to divine... not the exact meanings, but... clues of what they represent."

Lux hands over the phone to Bones. "Feel free to take a copy with your phone magic." 1. a silver coin ascends slowly, flipping end over end, reaches its apex, and begins to fall, still tumbling -Vasya. The position of the coin is important: Fate is undecided, the coin could fall either way.

2. blood spills across and seeps into the ground, pooling around tree roots -The Children’s Tree.

3. dark eyes turn towards the viewer, then widen in ... fear? surprise? -Simon, a sin-eater.

4. a neon green plume falls from a rooftop, lands on top of a car, resolving into a human form outlined in industrial light... -Lux, a changeling.

5. the green drifts upward into glowing pollen, or perhaps spores, which land on a translucent human hand... -Primary: Moros & CotT, Ghosts, The Tree -Secondary: Sin Eaters & Sleepwalkers, Ordo Dracula -Tertiary: Autumn Court Central Conflict: Unresolved death, injustice, a new beginning founded on destruction.

6. the muzzle of a silver pistol seen in short focus spits fire and water... - Primary: Vasya, Firebirds, GotV, CotT, Thyrsus - Secondary: The Tree - Tertiary: Ghosts - Central Conflict: We’re important to the timeline and therefore in danger.

7. and red rose petals, which scatter across thorns the size of a human hand... Red Rose Freehold, a community of changelings in Lancaster. They are not actively plotting against us.

8. a book cracks open and falls to a page covered with incoherent symbols... -Primary: Obrimos, Silver Ladder, The Tree, Sin Eaters, Ghosts -Secondary: All other Orders & Paths -Tertiary: All remaining coins

9. an old, ivory-tone mask with an exaggerated beak tumbles through empty space, trailing wine-colored ribbons behind... -Primary: GotV, Sin Eaters, Acanthus, Ghosts, Sleepwalkers, The Tree -Secondary: The Autumn Court, Spring Court, Himself, The Firebirds -Central Conflict: An agenda of: Unresolved death, injustice, a new beginning founded on destruction. Transformation, restitution, revenge.

10. charcoal scribbles become precise calligraphy, but the letters dance, the words cannot be read... -Jack, a changeling.

11. the mask lands. the mask shatters...

12. the roots of mushrooms push deeper and deeper into the earth... -Primary: Moros, Sin Eaters, The Tree, CotT, Ghosts -Secondary: Ordo Dracul, Sakima -Tertiary: All mage coins, all vampire coins.

13. an owl comes to roost... -Buidhe, a changeling. Used to be the King of the Autumn Court. Lux paces around once the phone is handed over, peering around as they talk. "The warnings are, I think, those who have been tied up by time and fate with the Seers and Panopticon. People who have had their fates nudged, strings pulled, watched by Panopticon... For some reason. There's a lot of.... time shenanigans involved that I honestly just do not understand." They glance to Fox to see if she has any insight there.
Blue
Blue's eyes are a little wide as she quickly reads down the list. While sipping at one of her three drinks she ordered. Then plopping down onto one of the mossbags.

She doesnt have any input but nods looking aswell to Fox.
Bones
Magic flickered from Bones' hand through the phone and back.
Fox
First, the Triple Master goes wheeeeeee!

Then, after she gets set down by Lux, she plants a smooch on the Winter's cheek and then sits down on the mossy ground criss-cross applesauce with a box of bacon and a box of tiramisu waffles. She opens both, and digs into the bacon first.

"Whyyyy, thank you. It's my pocket dimension, sort of. Which is an extremely flippant way of speaking about an incredibly powerful piece of magic which reshapes the local Shadow briefly, but it is kind of like that anyway." She preens a little bit, nodding when Lux corrects themself, and offers, "Lyuda has started daily divinations to see where threats to the timeline are coming from. It's what let us intervene when Jackie Drexel was attacked by one of the Mark IIs." Her grubby little fingers scratch at her cheek, and she offers, "There are people in those things, you know."
Bones
Bones frowned and sat down at Fox's words. First, Vorpal was attacked. Second, that there are people in the bots.
Lux
"...The Mark IIs are different from the grigori, right?" Lux squints at Fox. "But yes, time shenanigans. And the Seers are coming from... the future, too? There was some that came from the future that tried to murder a couple of changelings a while back."
Blue
"Alive people? I know thats usually what people means but like. They could be using the minds."

There is a pause. "Not that im sure it matters."
Fox
"Yeah, so." Fox talks with her mouth full. She has no fucking manners whatsoever where lamb bacon is concerned. Crunch crunch crunch. "Grigori are fucking horrid abominations made by the Seers, they use this Artifact, with a capital A, which is extremely powerful, and they put a Sleepwalker in it and send their soul out in Twilight to spy and basically once someone is in one of those they, uh, they die in there! But I've never accepted 'impossible' before and I am not about to start now." She pours coffee, and pauses. "Oh. I forgot the cream."

Blinking twice, she shrugs, and pauses long enough to stare at the coffee. Here in the Shadow, her Nimbus flares freely, making the room briefly smell of petrichor and fresh green leaves, accompanied by the feeling of being stared at by a devoted companion dog. And now her coffee is coffee with cream, because what good is being a Matter Master if you can't just fix your damn coffee?

"So anyway. That's Grigori. But I guess, uh, weird things happen when hubristic assholes put non-Sleepwalkers in the Artifact and think they're gonna get away with it." There's a sort of apologetic sidelong glance at Lux, there, before she barrels on. "The Mark IIs are the robot cops that have been around the city. One of them attacked Jackie and I guess they've been harassing people about some lady who the PPD wants, and fuck the PPD, honestly." A wave of her grubby hand, and she gestures with a piece of bacon held in the other one. "The Mark IIs have people in them. Have you seen Guardians of the Galaxy, the second one?" Apparently this is relevant?
Bones
"The... remote control ships?" she guessed, with a whisper of a voice. At this point, they didn't need to be completely present, just present, to remember it later.
Lux
Lux leans down to steal a chunk of waffle, munching on it while they pace. Apparently not caring that they're getting whipped cream and syrup on their fingers. They frown as they listen and chew, looking distracted. "Been a bit, but seen it, yeah."
Blue
Blue nods. "The one where he meets god dad. Oh yes. Im really hoping your going Remote Control Robot direction, not, other directions."
Fox
There's a moment where Fox stops and looks at Bones sidelong, sort of curiously. One can almost see triangular ears perked and swiveling, but only almost. "Yeah, exactly," the Thyrsus agrees. Her golden-eyed gaze turns towards Blue. "Well. Yeah. Kinda. So. There's an Astral base, it's on Mars, but like, the Astral... kind of uh... dream of Mars, but not exactly a dream, a... projection... look, that part doesn't matter right now. What matters is that there's this bitch called The Creator, they are fucked the hell up, and they have been cramming people's fucking souls into robots! Without their consent! One of them is my friend, his name is Mark One, his wife's name is Mary, I love them very much, she makes great casseroles. Anyway, so some of the souls get kept in the Astral, on Mars, and they sort of uh... remote control the Marks. There's a whole thing with Mary and Amos, who is another Mage, and how they became Mages because Mary and Amos were previously both pilots, but not of Mark IIs, of another kind of vehicle. The vehicle thing isn't important right now."

There's a shimmer to Fox's right as a large Husky passes through the wall of the Spirit Manse. "Hi, Agoston. Did you bring -- ?" And there's a rat riding the dog. Don't ask too many questions. "Perfect Ratthew!" She holds her hand out and the rat scrambles up her arm. "These are my friends, it's okay. Anyway, so, some of the Mark IIs have remote pilots. Some of them ... don't. Their pilots are... riding in their brain cases. Like, there's a thing in there. And it has a person's soul in it."

Fox says a lot, very fast, while eating. Her fingers twitch absently against the cup in her hands.
Lux
Lux stops pacing and just sort of stares at Fox as she explains there are bases on psuedo Mars.
Blue
"Psuedo Mars. Souls being projected from there to Mark II's but only in specific circumstances. Presumably when they are dealing with specifically dangerous persons? I asume that this Jackie would be one of these people."

She nods her head. Thinking for a moment.
Fox
"Look, you have a psychoactive topiary between you and fairyland, my darling love, you don't have much to say about things being weird!" There's affection in Fox's voice, and she leans back on one hand, sipping at her coffee. "Um, no, like, whenever the Mark IIs are out? They have people in them, as far as I know. I could be wrong! I could be. But that's my understanding." She pauses. "Anyway, yeah. So that's what the Mark IIs are. Mark One is my friend, like I said. They're not bad people. Most of them don't even know what happened to them, really."

She pauses and stares off into the near distance. "Where do they get them all from, that's what I want to know. They're not... recent souls."
Lux
"I have a suspicion," Lux says grimly. "But no real confirmation." They lick syrup from their fingers, continuing to pace. They look between Blue and Bones. "I'm going to tell you something, but I ask that you don't share it with anyone unless you trust them. But one of their grigori--I know who it is. And they weren't a sleepwalker, they were a changeling." Lux looks to Fox and frowns. "He was one of our kings. He sacrificed himself to free some others who were escaping from a huntsman of one of the Gentry called Le General. We thought he was dead. Or dragged back to Arcadia. But Lyuda saw it in her divinations. I think the person giving us this dreams is him--Michael. And the map that me and Lyuda figured out was floating through our minds? I think it's a map to them... their soul? Mind?" Lux shrugs wildly. "Somewhere in the Oneiros."

They look to Bones. "So, that's another thing I'm looking for. There's pieces of a map hidden... somewhere. In people's dreams. We know where two pieces are right now, but there's at most three others."

"But the map is only... one branch of this whole thing." Lux waves their hand. "You wanna help with dreams? Try to decipher the meanings of those other dream snippets I gave you. I think they're more pieces to this huge puzzle that we need to figure out." They look back to Fox. "You said they're not recent souls? It seems... reasonable that if Michael was given to them by a huntsman... Maybe its happened before. People get lost in the thorns all the time, and time is funky in Arcadia." "One event doesn't prove a constant, but." Another wild shrug. "I don't fucking know."
Blue
"Apologies you said that Some of the Mark II's have remote Pilots and some Dont. Can you clarify what you mean for me?"

She nods along to Lux. "So they are using diffirent souls, perhaps depending on what kind of arsenal they want? Sorry if im rehashing things you know."
Fox
When Lux starts theorizing, Fox holds up a hand and says, "Hold that thought just a second. I think that we need... " And she takes a deep breath and there's a pulse of magic again a few seconds later. "... is Lyuda." She blinks slowly, and her eyes unfocus for a minute. "She'll be here in a second."
Lyuda
Information begins creeping in around the edges of the manse, crawling across the mossy floor, and leaking in between the trees to dribble down towards the roots like syrup. It all sort of oozes and congeals near to where Fox is sitting, pooling upwards into a bit of a gumdrop of roiling bank numbers and web traffic and streaming ukrainian news. That's weird enough, but when the literal face of war sort of burns up to the surface and stares at everyone in a silent wretched scream that knows no satiation or end, that's absolutely an odd bit. Moreso when it grows a peudopod and gives a half-hearted wave.

"Hello. I am here. I am a blob. Do I need to not be a blob?"
Lux
Lux stares blankly as the blob forms and waves. "...I've seen stranger things."
Blue
"I havent but im starting to get used to it." She says with a chuckle.
Fox
"I think probably it would be nice, My Heart," Fox offers quietly, stretching a hand out towards the blob as if this is all very normal for her. "She's learning to be a spirit, also," she explains aside to Lux, before mentally rewinding to pick up on another piece of the conversation.

And then she stops and stares at Lux. "Holy shit. They put one of -- " A long pause. "Fuck, that's terrible. I'm sorry. But like. Holy damn." She looks aside at Lyuda, frowning mildly. "Okay. That makes sense. And it's ... soul and mind, both, really, at that point. Fuck."

"They're not recent souls," she reiterates. "Do they take dead people?" Fox asks Lux. "Because like. I know when Mark and Mary both died. I don't think I looked up Amos, yet. But yeah. they both died. In the forties, during the War. They were married, and then Mary died in a plane crash with... "

Sorry, Blue, Fox is going to get to the rest of those ideas in a minute. "... Mary was in a troop transport plane towards the end of the war. Europe was still underway, I remember that. Her plane went down with all hands." She slaps both of her hands against the sides of her face. "Oh my GOD I'm an IDIOT."
Lyuda
The blob grows a second pseudopod and shlorps over Fox's offered hand, suckling at it like an amoeba doing a handshake. And then some impossible things happen, and corpus boils away and body replaces corpus in a place where things are supposed to have corpuses and not bodies. So technically this is the magic, not the thing before. Technically.

Anyway. Three is still a Ukrainian standing there, and that Ukrainian is wearing a beaten up Homeguard jacket and BDU pants and a dingy undershirt. But she's also farm girl next door pretty with long dark blonde hair and a very pretty nose. Bit of the Tartar in this one. She is slavic pretty, which means she is pink and plump and has big hips and a round ol' butt, and knows how to churn the goddamn butter. She is also carrying an M4 at port arms.

"Hello an idiot, I'm Lyuda."
Blue
Blue smiles offering her plate of Shashlik. "Fresh from Maddys if you want some. Mama's recipe."
Lux
Lux gets distracted briefly, looking Lyuda up and down a moment appraisingly, then smiles and throws their hands up excitedly. "Happy boobs!"

And then immediately sobering a beat later as they focus on the topic again. "Oh, they died? Hmm..." Lux frowns, thinking. "Then no, they probably weren't people taken by the Gentry. They don't usually care about the dead..."
Fox
It's very cute, the amoeba handshake, and it seems to make Fox quite happy, but then when Lyuda becomes Lyuda, Fox sets down her coffee and stands up and flings her arms around Lyuda's neck, smooching her face and clinging on her as is Fox's rite and custom. Some things never change. "Baby I'm an idiot, they crashed the plane to harvest all the people, they have to be harvesting ghosts. That's fucking disgusting and I want to climb out of my skin."

"Yeah. They died. Mary died, and then Mark... died shortly thereafter. He was trying to figure out what happened to Mary and then he suddenly died in a car accident." She shoots a Look aside at Lux there as if to say 'surprise surprise, a suspicious death!' "Well, damn." She sighs.
Lyuda
"Are they?" Lyuda looks down. They genuinely just look like her boobs. She looks up again. "I mean. I guess?" She's still Ukrainian, in the end. She puzzles down at her tiddies as she steps over to Fox, finally just letting it go.

"Well. There's dead. And then there's dead. And then, of course, there's dead. So. I think they were just, you know. 'Dead'?" She gives it air quotes and everything. "Honestly, these are questions I'd be happy to put to Creator while dangling them off a bridge. And I know of so many bridges now."
Blue
"So, killing Mages and taking there souls, spirits, ghosts to pilot mark II's"

She nods.

"And occasionally they are using Lost too. Just trying to keep up. Sorry."
Lux
"If you're happy, then they're happy boobs." Lux shrugs, then goes back to pacing around the clearing, arms crossing over their chest. They frown as they puzzle all that out.
Fox
"Mark isn't a Mage. He's a Sleepwalker. Now. I don't think he was before. Mary and Amos became Mages somewhere in the process of being freed. Now they're just... like... people. I think that Balm becoming an Archmaster might have had something to do with that, but I can't be sure because I can't ask her because it's illegal for her to tell me things." A pause, and she frowns. "Though I think we're all going to be doing a lot of illegal things before the end." Fox leans in against Lyuda, then. "Yes, I hate The Creator."

That's not a word Fox uses often. Not about people, anyway.

"You're mostly with us. They're killing people and taking their ... people-ness, whether it's a spirit, soul or ghost... to pilot Mark IIs. Yes. And apparently they also used a Lost, which shouldn't work, really, to make a Grigori." She pauses and looks at Lux. "Do you need a break, babe?"
Lux
"Maybe. I don't have any new information--I haven't found anymore map pieces yet." Lux shakes their head. "So unless there's anything new, I might head out. But--thanks for the run down on the Marks. I had... no idea about that stuff."
Lyuda
"I don't have anything particularly new, save for the fight we had with them, which I am sure Fox will have told you about by now. But. I take your meaning to be congratulations comma boobies, now. And I would like to offer an alternative word." Lyuda lifts a single finger, "Felicititties."
