The Green Room

Log

Jeremiah Hamilton: The turning of the year was a time for celebration, and the Green Room was hopping both inside and out, with staff zipping around keeping tables topped off with their drinks and orders and a rather skilled jazz trio currently occupying the main stage in the back of the cafe. The master of the house was naturally on site, dressed to the nines in black slacks, a wine dark dress shirt with the sleeves neatly rolled to the elbows, black vest and tie to round out the ensembles. A wide smile graced the Warlock's features, quite pleased to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Teagan: It's been a ... let's call it a stressful week. Teagan hasn't set foot outside without being Light-Shy, which means they've been walking everywhere. Checking on everything. They dodge in, hidden, following an incoming party, and then slip into the restroom, dropping the contract there. They pause for a moment, making sure they reflect in the women's room mirror, before sliding back into stealth, switching restrooms invisibly, reflecting themself in the other mirror on the way out to the club in general. Just in case. You never know where you might need to step out to.

They're dressed as per the usual -- tank top; long, heavy leather greatcoat; jeans; boots. The Mirrorskin slips towards the bar, apparently intent on acquiring a drink now that the investigatory work is done.

Jeremiah Hamilton: The drink offerings are primarily non-alcoholic - teas, coffees, sodas and the like - but the server behind the counter is quite happy to provide what the Mirrorskin may wish to imbibe.

Jane Murphy: Jane came to the Green Room looking quite unlike herself, doppelganger-shifted into an old favorite subject, with dark hair and dark makeup. She did like Teagan, walking in and slipping to the restroom. In a stall, she takes a deep breath to activate her cloak while she gets to work changing her clothes and appearance. A little bit later, she comes out in a red dress, her usual blonde hair, and brighter makeup on her own face.

She goes to get herself some coffee and looks around the space for any familiar faces..

Teagan: Coffee seems to suit them just fine: they take a cup and doctor it -- lots of cream, no sugar -- and lean against the bar casually. Clearly, they're waiting for someone, by their body language, but their facial expression is perhaps annoyingly unreadable to non-Lost. Though at least they get to see Teagan's eyes move? Jeremiah gets their chin tipped up towards him.

Jack Martingale: Jack has been all but MIA everywhere except work for the hell that is the Christmas Theater Season, but somehow...somehow he's managed to get New Year's Eve. Or most of it, at least - the man who walks through the doors is in dress blacks, like he probably came from some matinee or other. He takes a moment just inside the door to just breathe, settle into the sensation of having a free evening, before his face scans the crowd, clearly looking for someone.

The blonde woman gets a quick double-take, from this unfamiliar man, and a slight frown of vague recognition before he continues his search to land on the other Changeling at the bar. The frown dissolves into a warm, if tired smile, and he starts over, dodging the waitstaff and patrons with the ease of long practice.

Jeremiah Hamilton: Teagan earned a quick upnod in return along with a smile to Jane, sliding through the crowd with equally practiced ease to approach the counter and greet the now-trio with Jack's arrival. "Good evening, folks. Welcome to the Green Room, and thanks for coming by for the festivities."

Jane Murphy: Jane smiled back to Jeremiah, and she looked to Jack but didn't seem to quite share the exact same recognition, giving only a brief glance with most of her attention focused to Jere. "It's nice to be able to get out, especially since I'm not working tonight. Good to see the place is popular."

Teagan: Jack's arrival prompts an opened arm for the other Darkling, and Teagan rests their chin on top of his head after kissing the top of same. "Hey, babe," they greet him, turning their attention to Jane with an expression Jack will recognize as mild, reflected curiosity, and then to Jeremiah. "Thanks, man," they answer him, and nod along with Jane's statements.

Jack Martingale: It's like Jack is made to fit under that open arm, snuggled against Teagan's side - though he's nice enough to shrug out of his rain-damp coat, first, hanging it on one of the purse hooks under the bar. "Hey, yourself," he murmurs with a grin, and tips his head up to get a real kiss from them. Short and sweet, before he pulls away to nod at Jeremiah, though his gaze keeps sliding to Jane. "First chance to check this place out since I heard about it, it is nice to see it so full."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "As am I. We've done the ground work to make sure the community here knows that we're a safe space to be yourself and have fun, and they're showing it tonight." He looked over the crowd with a smile then turned back to the trio. "We have a few bands on deck for the rest of the evening and a special menu if you're interested in food as well."

Teagan: The kiss given is taken, and then Teagan's phone goes off, vibrating in the pocket of their coat. "Sorry -- I need to take this," they offer, and it seems rather bland to everyone but Jack, who hears the frustration.

And then they slip away.

Jane Murphy: "Oh, a special menu..?" She smiled, "Now I have to know how it's special." She looks to Jack again, curious about him looking at her, but Teagan's departure takes her attention away until she's checking back with Jere about this menu.

Jack Martingale: The Spring wilts as the object of his affection takes their leave, and he leans against the bar in their absence, casually unbuttoning his cuffs and rolling up his sleeves. There's an intricate tattoo on one of his arms, all florals mixed with bold, sharp patterns, trailing down to his hand, a few vines wrapped around a finger or two.

"You..." he glances between the two of them, a slight frown on his face. "This is...I feel like I know both of you. Could not tell you how...?" He trails off like he's hoping the one of the others will pick up the slack there. "It's been a hell of a week, my memory is..." a vague gesture, and he eases onto one of the barstools to take some of the weight off of his joints.

Jeremiah Hamilton: Jeremiah gave Teagan a nod as they headed off, looking back to Jane at her question. "We usually do stuff on the lighter side of things - sandwiches, soups, that kind of stuff. One of our chefs offered to pull out some of her family's recipes for the night, though, and they are fantastic. Highly recommend the spanakopita."

"We met briefly...God, year and a half ago, I want to say?" He replied to Jack, eyeing his tattoo with notable interest, what with his own floral-based sleeve on display. "Was a conversation dealing with the incident involving the Woods at the time, if I remember right."

Jane Murphy: "Nice. I'll have to check it out and see." She looked to Jack and studied him while she spoke, "I'm kinda new around the city, so.. not sure where we might've met?"

Jack Martingale: He had the tattoo when they'd met, but he's clearly gotten more work done on it, it creeps across his skin under the open collar of his shirt, too, a few delicate tendrils. As he shifts to get more comfortable on his stool, the fresh scent of a spring rainstorm drifts through the air. Some cologne he has on - and layered too, a metallic tang undercutting it all.

"Right. That headache. Nice to see you under better circumstances." The way he winces slightly at the end may suggest that his circumstances continue to be headache-inducing, but he's at least trying to be polite about it.

"You work in theater, ever?" Jack squints at Jane, trying to figure it out. "Or...I mean if you were down at Fort Jackson in twenty-twelve..." He dips his head, takes a breath, and continues. "I eh...looked a little different. Went by 'Jay', Martingale."

The name might ring a bell, and Fort Jackson certainly should.

Jeremiah Hamilton: That wince was noticed but politely not commented on; time and a place and all that. "Here here. Things have been rolling along smoothly enough since, thankfully, and hopefully the same for you."

He went quiet for a moment as Jack and Jane spoke, claiming a water bottle from a nearby staffer and taking a sip as he leaned against the nearby bar.

Jane Murphy: Jane did the math, the tattoo, Fort Jackson, Martingale, 2012. She was quiet as she thought it out and then there was suddenly a moment of epiphany and her expression brightened. "Ahhh!" She laughs, "Wow, you're looking great! Yeah, Fort Jackson, we both trained up around the same time. It's amazing meeting you here now. I'm guessing you don't go by 'Jay' anymore, eh?"

Jack Martingale: There's a subtle shift in his posture, a tiny lowering of the shoulders. The slightest breath of relief. "It's Jack, now." He offers her a genuine smile. "How'd you make it up here, from there? Granted I didn't stay there any longer than I fucking had to, but not everyone's me." A chuckle. "Army still got its claws in you?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Small world." Jeremiah replied with a smile. "I go by Jay myself, as a heads up, so if you hear someone call that name while you're here that's likely why."

Jane Murphy: "Alright, you're Jack," she gestures to Jack, "you're Jay," now on to Jay, and then to herself, "and I'm Jane. Now we're all on the same page, I hope there's a menu printed on it!" She looked around to see if she could find a menu with those special dishes.

Jack Martingale: Jack chuckles. "Jane - 's my sibling's name, I'm not likely to forget it, at least. I could use something to eat too, I'm starving. And honestly, 'Jay' doesn't get my attention the way it used to. Probably a good thing - Jack's a common enough name as it is..."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Ask and ye shall receive." Jeremiah reached over along the counter to procure two menus and offered them to the pair, the selection a variety of Mediterranean specialties. "True, although I figured it's worth a heads up. Dealing with surprise necronym utterances can be rough, I know."

Jane Murphy: "Ah, yeah? What a coincidence.." She said to Jack's comment about the name. She looked to the menus offered, "Much appreciated. Hmmm.. might have to go for that spanakopita with a sparkling water.."

Jack Martingale: "The eh...I appreciate the drink options, too." A glance at Jay, before he returns to the menu. "Alcohol sells, I hear it's hard to do a venue without it, these days."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "It does, but it's worth it for making the folks who don't or can't drink feel more comfortable, including the younger crowd. Being able to do 18+ shows with less hassle is a plus for both the cafe and the performers."

Jane Murphy: She nods, "Honestly, I've never had much of a taste for the stuff. Coffee's my substance of abuse."

Amelia Fedorov: Blue stopped at the counter picking up the most basic white bitch coffee that the Green Room sells before wandering through and looking for a table.

She spots Jay and Jane and gives them a wave leaning on the post by her side.

Jack Martingale: Jack's smile gets a little forced. "I eh...I hid it okay, back then. I do coffee now, the occasional energy drink, but that's as hard as it gets, for me."

The scent of what must be someone's cologne drifts through the air as Blue wanders through the cafe. Like a fresh spring storm, undercut by the tang of something metallic. It's distinct, but not overhwelming, without any of the cloying artificiality that so many scents tend to have. Jay and Jane are talking to a man with his dark hair buzzed into a sharp undercut with the rest slicked out of his face, and a few days stubble on his chin. He's in all black - button-down shirt and dress pants, some lace-up boots - though he's rolled the sleeves of the shirt up and undone the first two buttons, adding a casual air to his otherwise more formal attire. An intricate floral tattoo winds its way up one arm, and a simple ring shimmers on the ring finger of his left hand.

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Yeah, I get you. I hit the stuff pretty hard back while I was in California and things got...interesting." Understatement of the decade, there. "If I indulge anything these days it's my sweet tooth, which is dangerous because one of my roommates is an amazing baker."

Spotting Blue he gave her a smile and a quick salute, tilting his head over for her to join them at the bar nearby. "Thanks for coming by, and Happy New Years."

Jane Murphy: Jane waves to Blue and smiles, "Hey hey, Happy New Years!" She nodded to Erik, "If they ever have an excess of peanut butter cookies, let me know, I can help dispose of them extra cheap."

Amelia Fedorov: Blue wanders over sitting down. "Happy New year, Happy New Happiness!"

A smile on her face as she sips at her drink. "Hi Jay and Jane and nice to meet you Mr. Black." A little chuckle to show its a joke.

Jack Martingale: "Ah - close, actually. You can call me Jack. Happy almost-New Year." He shifts his position on the barstool to include the newcomer in the conversation. "Have any of you made resolutions - or decided not to?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: "I will let you know." Jeremiah said to Jane with a smirk, moving a bit as well to make room for Blue. "I haven't in a while, honestly. I do have some things on the horizon that I'm looking forward to, though."

Jane Murphy: "Hmm.. I'm not sure what I would resolve to do that's different from what I'm already doing. I guess I need to resolve to learn to cook better, maybe. I keep eating out too much." She snorts, finding humor in saying that in a place serving food that she's looking to eat.

Amelia Fedorov: "Well nice to meet you then Jack." She chuckles. "Glad I made a good guess. I want to keep teaching. I was close to giving up. But I think its the right thing to do."

Jack Martingale: The changeling nods and absently ruffled his hair. "I've found that making plans suits me better than making vague resolutions. I won't like, I'm not sorry to be leaving this year behind, even if it means hurtling into the unknown."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Always a good thing to brush up on." He nodded to Jane, getting the attention of one of the wait staff so the gathered trio could put their orders in. "I'm probably about 75/25 for cooking at home versus eating out, although there are some excellent restaurants in town."

"Good to hear." He said to Blue with a small smile. "Getting into teaching other musicians was one of the best decisions I've made in a while, and I've gotten as much out of it as my students put into it."

"Been that rough, eh?" He looked to Jack, a faint mix of curiosity and concern on his features. "Hopefully things smooth out for you in the coming year."

Jane Murphy: She nods to Jack, "Yeah, I can see that. Plans can lead to action, a resolution at best leads to a plan." She looks to Jeremiah, "Having those excellent restaurants meet my lack of any habit in cooking for myself after a decade of letting the government cook for me is the biggest obstacle."

Amelia Fedorov: "Plans. That is a good, well, plan." She chuckles. "For me its been a pretty good year. Just, things, have given me a lot of doubt. Next year I should be releasing my next book which would be nice."

Jack Martingale: "Not bad, necessarily, just a...lack of plans. A...stasis, kinda? I dunno. I just...wanna do more, this year. Not...let it pass me by. But damn, Jane, they got you for a whole decade?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Awesome. Let me know when it's out, yeah?" He said to Blue with a smile, nodding at Jack's answer. "Yeah, I get you. Have anything in particular in mind that you'll be working towards?"

Jane Murphy: Jane nodded to Jack, "Yup. Just got out a few months ago. Couldn't stare down the barrel of another ten." She took a sip of her drink. "Wasn't worth it anymore."

Amelia Fedorov: "Ten years." She is a little wide eyed. "Thanks Jay, ill let you know. Im trying to keep it. Established as it were."

Jack Martingale: "Fuuuck," Jack winces in sympathy with Jane, and reaches out to clap her shoulder in the way only a fellow soldier could. "Good on you for getting out. What eh..." he shifts focus slightly, to Blue, "what's your book about?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Can't blame you. That's a hell of a run." He nodded to Jane. "Glad you've got some time to take care of yourself now, though."

He then looked to Blue, letting her answer the question posed as he snuck a sip of his water.

Amelia Fedorov: "Its about the Geometric correlation between Leylines and the practice of Sacred Geometry. How it has affected historic civilizations before they had any recorded information on the topics."

A few sips of her drink. "Boring Geometry maths for most people but I love it."

Jane Murphy: "Math only bored me in school when I couldn't relate it to something; loved applying math to things." She looks to Blue with a warm smile, "Your leylines studies are an application, so at least it's not boring as a bunch of letters and numbers tossed together with greek symbols that don't relate to anything."

Jack Martingale: "Sounds light years above my head, but that's not a bad thing." Jack chuckles. "I know enough geometry to build a set or two, but I don't remember shit from high school." He chuckles, then frowns as his phone buzzes in his pocket. The expression dissolves into a warm smile when he checks his phone though, and he slips his back in his pocket. "I gotta head out - was great to see you again - and good to meet you, too." He stands from the stool with a quiet groan and tests his knees before putting real weight on them, and grabs his coat to throw over his shoulder. "Happy New Year."

It might be just a trick of the light and the shadows, but it's almost as if his departing footfalls - the soles of his boots, maybe - leave sketchy charcoal flowers on the ground, drifting away before it's possible to get a better look

Vincent Drake: Vincent usually didn't hang in Cafe's but tonight was New Years and he was looking to have a good time. He's also been slowly learning how to make an entrance and tried to make an impression, whether or not he makes one is up to the crowd, he did smile however seeing a some familiar faces,

"Evening folks, here's to another year, I hope it will be just one of many more to come!"

Jeremiah Hamilton: "See you around, Jack. Don't be a stranger." Jeremiah gave the departing Darkling a quick salute, settling back into his space on the bar as he looked towards the new arrival with a smile. "Evening, and welcome to the Green Room. Make yourself comfortable."

Amelia Fedorov: "Its my passion what can I say."

There is a tilt of her head and a sigh as the new comer enters. Followed by a polite nod as Jay greets them.

Jane Murphy: "Good seeing you, Jack. Maybe we'll catch up sometime, huh?" She gave a wave to him as he headed out. She then looked to Vin's arrival, "Happy New Year! Good to see you, hmm?"

Vincent Drake: "Jane, lovely as ever." he says as he sits down, "It's going to be an interesting year, their's no doubt about that but I think I'll thrive.", he turns to the host, "So what do ya have?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: Jeremiah nabbed a menu for Vincent to peruse, mostly of a Mediterranean bent, while giving the Kindred a once-over himself. "Special menu for the evening, courtesy of one of our chef's family recipes."

"Jeremiah, by the way, don't think we've met."

Amelia Fedorov: "I got the recipie for Mama's Shashlik, gonna give it a go. Might share it if it turns out okay." Blue says seemingly out of no where. Mental links being made. Her Russian accent coming through.

Jane Murphy: "Always the charmer," she says with a smirk to Vincent. She looks to Blue, "Please do. I don't really have any family recipes, unless you count the instructions on a Hamburger Helper box."

Vincent Drake: "Vincent," he answers giving a grin to Jane, "So, have anything like red wine?" he asks, "What's on the special menu, and what makes it so special, then again I'm sure all your customers feel special being served by a tall drink of water like yourself." It's New Years, if anytime was for flirting it was this night

Jeremiah Hamilton: "A charmer indeed." Jay commented with a smirk, looking more amused than anything as he handed the menu over. "No alcohol, but I can guarantee we have some of the best coffee in the city. Menu-wise we usually do more on the salads and sandwiches side of things but we let our chef go all out tonight. Highly recommend the spanikopita if that's your sort of thing."

Amelia Fedorov: "Im happy to help you learn to cook if that is a problem Jane. I love teaching people to cook. Though we wont be starting with Shashlik."

Her voice is a chuckle and her accent seems to be fading and then kicks back in.

"Its new years Blue, you can deal with the Allo's for one night."

Jane Murphy: "Would love to learn. Start with something simpler, then? Chicken noodle soup?" She chuckles as well.

Vincent Drake: "Sadly I don't think food will cut it tonight, but the gesture is welcomed," he says to Jay, "I've met Jane and before and but don't think I've ever seen either of you," he gestures to Blue then adresses both, "Tell me about yourselves."

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Well, I run the place for one." He motioned around them with a smirk. "Musician by trade, although I mentor other performers and help them get their music out there more than going on stage myself these days. Yourself?"

Amelia Fedorov: "Im a Geometry Professor." As if that is enough of an explanation before she continues to Jane a smirk at Jay's response.

"Hey, if chicken noodle soup is what your up to we can start there."

Jane Murphy: "I like soups in general." She takes a sip of coffee and then looks to Jere, "When's the next time I can see you play?"

Vincent Drake: "Vincent's the name, crime's the game, scams, blackmail and other assorted things, I'm something of a bad boy." he laughs

Jeremiah Hamilton: "I fill in on occasion here if an act falls through, but other than that I play in the park sometimes. I'll drop you a line next time." He sipped his water, smirking at Vincent as he looked him over. "That so...how's that working for you?"

Amelia Fedorov: Blue puts her head in her hands and shakes it a few times.

"And this is how you get yourself arrested or added to watch lists. For a bad boy your pretty. How can I say this. Bad at it."

Jane Murphy: Jane shakes her head, "I agree with the professor. You at least have to dress it up a little bit, give it a spin. You don't do blackmail, you offer people reputation management services. You don't do scams, you're into blockchain technology."

Vincent Drake: "Well, the money is good and I have a range of skills and expertise if you want to see for yourself." he winks and Jay and turns to Blue

"The key is, the more they think your just an idiot, the least they'll be on guard." he counters turning to Jane

"Ok, I have to admit, that's good, you sure you haven't done this?

Jeremiah Hamilton: "Maybe," he chimed in after Vincent's comment to Blue, "but if you lay it on too think you do yourself a disservice. And thanks but no thanks, I like keeping things above board."

He looked ready to say more but one of the staffers got his attention, causing him to push off from the bar. "If you'll excuse me, duty calls. Enjoy yourselves, and Happy New Year."

Amelia Fedorov: "Have a good night Jay, we will have to get together and talk shop some time."

She smiles as he goes ordering another coffee, is it too late in the evening to be drinking this much coffee. Yes. Yet she orders away.

Polly Romantic: Polly trundles down from the upstairs with a pair of sound proof headphones around her neck. She's not really dressed for the public in yoga pants and an overlarge t-shirt over a sports bra. Her unruly hair is kept up with some pens. She'd been up there working, apparently.

She makes a break for the ordering counter during a lull to get an order in.

Jane Murphy: "Don't forget to let me know when you're playing next! Be seeing you." She waved to Jay as he departs. Polly's arrival got her attention, but she looked back to Blue and Vincent, "Got any new years rituals? My father told me to start the new year doing stuff I wanted to do all year, so I always get a nice long run in on the 1st."

Vincent Drake: "See ya," he nods to Jay before turning to Jane, "Usually I spend New Years with my sister but she's pissed at me, my change in schedule seems to have upset it, what the hell am I supposed to tell her?"

Jeremiah Hamilton: Jeremiah smiled as he spotted Polly joining the rest of the gathering, sneaking in a quick kiss on the cheek as he passed her by to do his managerial duties. Ah, the banes of business ownership...

Amelia Fedorov: There is a tilt of her head at Polly then a smile. "She has the right idea." Mumbled under her breath.

"I want to try and get home early, before it gets too rowdy and spend it with my cat. Maybe work on my book a bit."

Polly Romantic: Staff seem to know her, she seems to know them. No money changes hands, but a tip does.

She beams under the kiss from Jeremiah and watches his butt the whole time he's walking off.

Then she gets her big ass mocha mug and head-sized muffin.

She finds a chair, curls up on it and hugs a knee to herself as she begins picking apart the muffin top and watching the room with the interest of someone counting new faces.

Jane Murphy: Jane listens and nods to the others at their answers. She gives Polly a wave when her look around the room comes to her.

Vincent Drake: "So, who might you be?" Vincent asks with a friendly smile to the new arrival, "Haven't seen you before and I think I'd remember."

Polly Romantic: Of course the wave comes as Polly is poking muffin into her mouth. This causes her to almost laugh, which makes her almost spit out her muffin.

Excellent unintentional icebreaker. "Sorry. I forgot what time it was and--" she makes a little prompting motion with one hand so the other can eat.

"Maybe," she answers Vincent, licking some crumbs from her mouth. "Polly Romantic. Hi." She very politely brushes her hand off on her rump, then offers her hand out.

Amelia Fedorov: Blue smiles as her new coffee arrives.

Then a chuckle as Polly nearly spits her muffin across the room.

"Hey Polly, nice to meet you im Blue." A friendly if tired wave.

Jane Murphy: "Hey, I'm Jane. And yeah, time can get away from me occasionally, too." She smirks and reaches for her sparkling water.

Vincent Drake: "Names Vincent, my friends call me Vinny, I'm in the business of reputation management and blockchain technology." he says taking the hand and shacking it

Polly Romantic: "You should reach out to SBF. He has some blockchain technology that needs its reputation managed." Polly's head ticks a little to indicate she thought that was pretty funny and he should too.

"Well then. Vinny. I am a singer/songwriter/producer type person. Using mostly non-blockchain stuff, admittedly."

She leans to the side to call around Vinnie, "Hey, Jane. A watch and a leash will fix that right up."

Oh. She has jokes.

Blue's intro wins a quick, "Blue's a great name. Can I borrow it sometime?"

Amelia Fedorov: She does chuckle at Vinny. "Learning, see, much better received."

Then her face sort of drops. "Oh fuck. No you cannot have this name or any that I use. Though you may use Blue to address me."

Jane Murphy: "Oh, if only it were so simple.." She chuckled, then looked to Blue and raised an eyebrow over her response to the question.

Vincent Drake: "What kind of music, please say punk rock or alternative." he asks eyes beaming a tad

Polly Romantic: Sometimes rainbow based humor fails to land. Particularly when people don't know you are one. Polly puts her hands up innocently, "Okay. So they're your crayons. Got it."

"Alternative is a broad term. I do a whole bunch of different stuff solo. And when writing, you know. Whatever. But Fluke, my band. Is a little shoe gaze, a little LA Electronica. Sorta of like if the Naked and Famous and Billie Eilish had a fight in a WaWa parking lot."

She cleans her thumb off with her mouth. "I know, right?" It's probably intended for Jane, that.

Amelia Fedorov: Blue lowers her guard. Maybe it was just a passing comment, she is just on edge. Vasya's training at work.

"If only their was more time in the day. No playing with my Crayons in a cafe." She says with a chuckle trying to lighten the mood.

Jane Murphy: "Hmmm.. Fluke?" She asks before nodding and looking down into her cup, zoning out a bit as she looks up the band name. "Have to look into your band. Always like to listen to something new on my runs."

Vincent Drake: "Never heard of it, but I'd love a listen. . .you have merchandise?, I know a guy who can get a bunch of t-shirts done up cheap." he offers, "Other than that, got room for a groupie?" he smiles

Polly Romantic: "You have to get creative, is all. There is absolutely a twitch and YouTube audience for a pretty girl who sits around coloring and speaking her shower thoughts." Polly suddenly laughs at the addition, "You'd probably clear more than both of us do now combined. People on the internet are weird."

"'I have to look into your band' is also why I'm considering the crayon thing." She gestures up at Vincent, as though he's making her point.

"What do you think, Blue? Polly's Pretty Pictures? Kvetching with Krayons? No bad ideas, we're spitballing."

The groupie comment wins him the assurance, "Penis is pretty easy to come by and of little intrinsic value. That said, happy to have a fan."

Amelia Fedorov: "Oh im sure if I sat around colouring naked I would make more money than I do writing Geometry books, but its not my jam."

She chuckles at the spit balling. "Blue Crayons with Polly Ranbow?"

Then just spits some of her coffee across the table at the Penis comment. "At least we can agree on that front."

Jane Murphy: Jane snorted at the comment as well and looked to Vincent, "May need to stick to helping with the t-shirts."

Vincent Drake: he shrugs, "Can't blame a guy for trying, however t-shirts are highly lucrative so that's still a good business model," he looks to his watch, "Oh shit, it's already 1-I gotta get going, need to get home before before the night's gone, been fun meeting ya'll."

Polly Romantic: "Yet we all do. We tell you we do. Do I look like I'm try'n'a?" She gestures to her attire and muffin and mocha. Flexing her relative stature in the place to do some advocating.

When Vincent departs, she legit asks the ladies that remain, "You two good?"

Jane Murphy: She nods, "Yes, though I probably should be heading home myself." She looks to Blue for her end.

Amelia Fedorov: "Im good yeah. Getting a bit tired but good."

Polly Romantic: "I just came down to gas up my tank for the final pass on this track. I can leave you girls to it." She bites into her muffin, holding it in her mouth so she can carry her big mug up the stairs in precisely the way Jeremiah doesn't like.

Amelia Fedorov: "But you're so much fun, I couldn't make you leave."

Jane Murphy: "Ah, alright." She says to Polly before getting up and pulling out some cash to pay for what she's enjoyed. She nods to Blue, "See you around?"

Amelia Fedorov: "Maybe at the waffle shop yeah."
