Happy to be close to Kay, Harmony walks alongside her as they reach home, moving inside and looking around with a sot smile, toeing her shoes off right away to let her feet sink into the carpet. "Home." She basks a moment.

Kay smiles and slowly walks deeper into the home after getting rid of her shoes. "I'm changin' into something comfortable, I'll join you in the meditation room soon." a yawn as she head toward her own space.

A nod and Harm turns, making her own way there and starting to light some of the incense candles, looking around at the softly lit wooden room before picking a mat to settle onto in a cross legged pose. She smiles, waiting and getting comfortable.

Kayla walks back out of her own room and she approach the meditation room and she sits down beside Mary and lean against her side. She's wearing loose white short and a loose, comfortable pink shirt, her hair loose and slightly messy. "How're you?"

"You're feeling a little wrung out hun?" Mary turns to her, wrapping arms around Kay's leaning frame and brushing a soft hand over her hair. "I'm processing a little too." She admits. "A lot happened. And now we're getting a feast thrown, with us as guests of honour." A smile appears, but it's a slightly nervous one.

"It didn't go how I wanted it to go, but I honestly think it'll end up being better that way." Kay looks over at Mary. "What's on your mind? I'm mostly a happy kind of tired right now, I can be there for you to let some stuff out."

"How did you want it to go?" She asks, then ponders Kay's question. "Low grade anxiety." She answers. "A lot of eyes are on us, so I'm hoping I handle things well. I mean, I think we've done well so far." A smile. "If you have any suggestions for relaxing or sorting through a bit of stress, I'd be grateful."

"I was repaying her for a thing that happened between us." Kayla shrug her shoulders. "I kind of selfishly wished she'd just have taken the offer for herself." Kayla shrugs. "But she thought bigger and I think it's a good idea." she looks around for a bit, grabbing a cushion to set down on her lap. "Stage fright is more Jay's business or maybe Alexis, honestly."

"Ah, about you eating that fruit?" She asks, nodding. "You're allowed to be selfish at times Kay, the many come before the few, but we all need to look after ourselves too. Jay told me something like that and I reckon he was right." She turns to lie down, resting her head on the cushion Kay's grabbed if she looks receptive to it. "I think just talking to you helps. I always feel at ease when you're around."

Kay smiles and slowly run her fingers over Mary's hair when she rest her head there. "Yeah about that. About what insight I might have taken away from the world. A lot of how I use my magic is centered about making sure we don't lose knowledge again, I think it's part of that." She takes a deep breath. "That's litterally a cortical precept."

"Mm.." Her eyes half close. "Never losing knowledge is good, and a strong principle to keep to. But I wonder if you did take something from the world. Maybe the insights from that fruit are part of who you are? Either way, I'm still happy to see you as the person you are."

Kay slowly cards her fingers through Mary's hair, deliberate, gentle, if not entirely agile. "Maybe, I think that's part of why I'm looking at the mushrooms and feeling inspired." a beat as she keep playing with the hair.

"They are delicious and healthy.." She murmurs with a slow smile, tone lazy now. "Kay? Given how close we are, well, have you ever wanted to explore that?" A hint of redness touches her cheeks. "And hopefully I haven't just made things awkward."

Kay blinks once and seems only a little surprised, but it fades quickly. "You haven't made things awkward." the necromancer even seems to relax a little bit, her gaze focusing to the side, into the distance, her hands still running through her hair. "My head is filling up with questions right now." she chuckles.

"My head is always filled with them." Harmony grins up at her. "I jump around like a frog on hot rocks, so mediation's good. Helps keep me grounded. You wanna try to grab one of them to ask?"

"Hmmm." She wraps her arms around Harmony and holds her close for a moment. "Is this some kind of a patch for what happened with Little Fox?" the question comes with her softest, gentlest of voice.

"Oh." A blink and a slow shake of her head, but she stops herself, pausing to consider it. "No." She tells Kay just as gently, resting against her as she's held. "You mean ever so much to me. This is earnest and not just because I managed to gnaw my foot off." A rueful, embarrassed grin.

Kay listens to Mary and smiles a little bit further and pokes her nose. "I mean, I flirt with people, we're all super affectionate with each other, I sort of expected something like that to happen eventually." a shrug of her shoulder. "I... feel like both Sirius and Heather are both still stinging with their own lost love." she seems to be working through her own thoughts there. "So I suppose this is something I was hoping for on some level." still half lost in her thoughts, her gaze wandering around the room.

Mary catches her hand after the nose poke, squeezing it gently. "Are you working though anything too?" She asks, sitting up and resting an arm around Kay's shoulders. "And do you need time to think about things?"

"My griefs and my pain aren't linked to my romance." Kayla squeezes the hand back. She leans forward. "Maybe, give me something to think about?" she gives a very warm, mirthful smile.

"I will do my best." She turns to Kay, lips curving in a slow smile before she rests a hand lightly in her hair, leaning in to slowly brush lips against hers in slow, careful exploration, but one that slowly deepens.

Kay closes her eyes, letting Mary guides the pace, her arms wrap around her in a gentle hold. She responds to the kiss with a little more fire than she herself expected to. She breaks away from it and open her eyes. "I think that's enough to think about..." she laugh a little, is she blushing? she's definitely feeling hotter.

Mary's own cheeks are a little red, her eyes bright and the hand in Kay's hair stroking slowly. "Ah, hm, yes." She offers in response, taking a breath. "I'll think about it too. Glad, you are." A shy little grin.
