Bellevue Hotel Elysium

Log

Daniel Hawthorne: The evening was relatively young and Daniel had decided to pop into his preferred Elysium location to see who might be about and get a little work done somewhere other than his studio. The Haunt was well-dressed and Blushed as was his wont, seated at one of the tables with his laptop in front of him, tablet in hand, and a cup of tea sitting nearby with faint wisps of steam coming up from it now and again.

Vincent Drake: Vincent walked through the doors of the Bellevue and. . .oh, oh god, why, why Vincent! A few hours earlier he was invited by a friend to a 'House of the Dragon viewing party', he's already seen it but he loves the show and it gave him an excuse to wear. . .this.

Vincent was indeed walking into Elysium cosplaying as Daemon Targaryen, it was a high end outfit that was made as an exact replica of the costume worn in the show and seemed to have set him in a good mood, walking in as if he was the Rouge Prince himself.

"Evening Daniel." he offered the Nosferatu a nod as he walked over, "How have you been?"

Daniel Hawthorne: Daniel glanced up from the tablet as Vincent entered, about to give his customary nod before he saw what the Daeva was wearing and blinked in surprise. "Evening..." He nudged a chair out for Vincent as he approached, finishing up something on the tablet before setting it aside. "Interesting choice of outfit. There a convention going on that I missed hearing about?"

Juliet Morrigan: Juliet arrives at some point after Vincent so she was not forced to see him enter Elysium in that outfit. However, she would be forced to witness it upon her arrival. The elder tilts her head to side as she looks at the outfit the man was wearing and takes a few moments to register the following question: "what is happening?" to which she does not seem to have come up with an answer that satisfies her.

Juliet for her part is wearing a well fitting dress with . . . an excessive amount of . . . one could only assume are diamonds because there is no chance that she'd wear fake gems, right? Of course her fingers are also adorned with several rings with what appear to be matching gems to the ones on her outfit. Given her age one would probably assume she has amassed quite the wardrobe in her unlife.

"A good evening to the two of you." -She pauses briefly before looking to Vincent, her mouth opens then closes and her attention moves to the person she had yet to meet- "It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Alder Dame Knight, Juliet Anne Morrigan, The Marquise of Cardiff of the First Estate."

Vincent Drake: Vincent smirked at Daniel's blink and supressed a chuckle at Lady Morrigan's reaction, ok, he's totally doing this on purpose. "No, but I was attending a viewing party an hour before." he smiled as he sat down, "And yes, I cosplay as Tywin when I viewed the original show with friends, it's a hobby." he shrugged as he leaned back into the chair, "I always loved the costumes in period and fantasy shows, I have a collection back home, from Anime, Movies, Shows, and I make them look good." he chuckled

Daniel Hawthorne: "Ah, nice. Never got into cosplaying myself but I've made outfits for folks over the years. I was more of the fighting game tournament sort when it came to going to conventions. Did pretty well too."

His attention then turned to Juliet's arrival, her ensemble was equally appraised by the young Haunt as he offered her a respectful nod. As her title was given he sat up a little straighter on reflex, old habits dying hard and all that. "A pleasure to meet you, Alder Morrigan. Daniel Hawthorne of the local Academy."

Juliet Morrigan: "A recent event required a certain level of fashion that would simply be shameful to arrive in attire befitting of anything less than the exceptional."

She explains

"While I do have a preference for upper class clothing, this is slightly higher than what I normally wear."

A small nod at Daniel's introduction

"Well I do sincerely hope the Academy is prospering and that you have had an eventful night thus far."

Finally a glance to Vincent

"Yes. Those 'costumes' were indeed very 'fun' to wear back in the day. They had ever so much breathing room in them and made movement so simple it was positively astounding."

The sarcasm is actually palpable

Vincent Drake: he shrugged, "Forgive me, when you're not used to something it becomes exotic and a nice break from the norm," he simply said, "And it's a way to enjoy a fandom, dress up as you're favorite character and such, maybe I should have came in as Obito Uchiha or do some irony and cosplay as Strahd von Zarovich." he gestured for a ghoul to bring over some whiskey, filling a glass before taking a sip, "Sorry, I'm what many these days call, well, 'Geek', 'Weeb', 'Fanboy', and I enjoy the reactions I get."

Daniel Hawthorne: "So far so good, ma'am." Daniel replied with a polite smile, taking a moment to save his work and put away his laptop and whatnot now that there were other people about. Her sarcastic reply to Vincent earned a small chuckle, nodding quietly. "Some of them definitely had room for improvement as far as comfort is concerned, but what they were able to do with the material at hand always impressed me."

Juliet Morrigan: A moment before she replies to Vincent

"I know through my knowledge of the English language that you did say several words that, when put together, form a sentence. However, I am uncertain as to what several of those words actually mean. I do not know what an "Obito Uchiha" is but it sounds like a name as does "Strahd von Zarovich" thanks to my knowledge of German I know that the word "von" is a preposition form "of" or "from" and used to be used in reference to one's family. However, I am going to take a guess that these are all things from something I have not experienced just yet and for me to attempt to continue to discover what they mean would simply be a waste of time."

It appears that she thinks she is unable to come to a proper conclusion of the information by herself. She thinks for another moment

'Fanboy' is fairly obvious to me, you are a fan of something and denoting the word "boy" is just to assign gender to it?"

That does appear to be a question and she looks back to Daniel

"You sincerely have no idea, there were times when I thought I might be better off without ribs."

Vincent Drake: he looks like he is about to say something. . .but decides against info dumping Naruto and Ravenloft onto his boss, she's not amused as it is it seems, so instead, he simply shrugs.

"Waste of time, maybe," he admits, "But entertaining, also fun. . .I think you'd like Game of Thrones." he said as he sipped his Whiskey again

Daniel Hawthorne: "It's a certain subset of modern media that some find entertaining, and will meet with others who are also interested in it to share their thoughts on the storylines and whatnot." Daniel added, taking a sip of his tea. "Depending on your tastes you might find some of it enjoyable yourself."

"I can imagine. I've made corsets before as part of my work and they can be a hassle at best, especially if they're not constructed properly for the person wearing it."

Juliet Morrigan: Her emerald eyes turn toward Vincent before she begins to explain

"I was attempting to inform you that, due to my lack of modern-day knowledge, it would not be prudent of me to attempt to dismantle the information you gave me. I am prone to overthinking and over analyzing things. Due to this I did not believe that I was in a position to try and figure it out, thus why it was a "waste of time" for me to attempt it. I was not in any way insulting your hobby, the time you dedicate to yourself is just that, your time. Perhaps I would, though I would most likely read the books if it has any."

Those eyes then switch over to Daniel

"Thank you for clearing that up, I am uncertain what I would do with any 'leisure time' I might find myself in possession of. The vast majority of my time is dedicated towards the business, the Estate, and the Clan. Of course not necessarily in that order."

Vincent Drake: "Ah, sorry, it's. . .a lot of people hand wave it as 'childish'," he admits, "I'm apologize for misinterpreting you're meaning," and then she mentioned the books and his eyes lit up, "Yes, the books are soooo good, Martin is never going to finish them though, like, if you read the books, you can tell the show totally sanitized Tyrion and made him a saint compared to his book counterpart, plus I feel making Rhaegar and Lyanna in love was a terrible misrepresentation of the circumstances..." he blinked, "Sorry, sorry, I. . .get excited."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Very welcome, ma'am." He nodded, smirking a touch as Vincent went off on a tear before reigning himself in. "What sort of business do you run, if I may ask?"

Juliet Morrigan: "Your business time is your business time and your free time is your free time. What you do in your free time does not concern me so long as it does not reflect poorly back into the business. I do not know anything about these books so any speculation I were to have would probably not do them justice."

Is her response to Vincent before she looks back to Daniel

"I am the owner of Drac..oh la la!, as a member of the Academy, you have probably seen it is located within Penn's Landing. While not an official Elysium I am working towards making it such. I currently have an understanding with the City about the laws of the location and several other details. All that really is left is finishing touches. The club is up and running and all Kindred, their significant others, and their retainers are welcome."

Vincent Drake: Vincent sipped his whiskey again

Daniel Hawthorne: Daniel paused ever-so-slightly at the mention of the club's name before offering a nod, taking a sip of his tea before responding. "Not much of a club person, I'll admit, but I'll come by and see it at some point."

Juliet Morrigan: Juliet is a woman who has lived close to 600 years and someone attempting to conceal their feelings was not something that was even remotely new to her. The pink haired Elder might as well have been thumbing through a pamphlet that held within it Daniel's current emotional state. She briefly tilts her head to the side as she gauges the Academy member

Vincent Drake: another sip, people watching is fun

Juliet Morrigan: "I am aware that the name is a bit on the nose but I find it humorous and people seem to appreciate the nights where we allow for a more specific theme. Sometimes embracing what you are and sharing it among the population is the best cover one can afford themselves. People can come in dressed as their favorite vampire and we can have themed drinks. That was one thing that seemed to stick out to me: the number of vampire related movies, television shows, and books that have upsurged since I awoke."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Very true indeed." Daniel gave another nod, offering a polite smile. "It's always interesting to see what they get right or wrong when it comes to those stories as well. I was highly amused some time back when one of the willworkers here asked if I sparkle."

Vincent Drake: "When I was still breathing, some of my favorite works included Hellsing, Vampire Hunter D, Interview with a Vampire, Seraph of the End, and while it's not the same thing, Tokyo Ghoul really reads like a neonate's horror story." he offered to the conversation, vampires in pop culture was something he had experience with, "I played a D&D game was a Dhampir Bard once."

Juliet Morrigan: "To be fair . . . I could see how one might see a "sparkle" on some Kindred based on what level of Majesty is used. It could merely be a personal perception thing that was wrongly attributed to all kindred. But I know not for certain the experiences of those who right these books and to be honest? I am not certain I want to, there are some mortals that truly stand out in their respective lifetimes. Yet I do not believe ones that write literature like that to be the ones that I would wish to visit personally."

She looks back to Vincent

"I must assume these are more television shows that you enjoy? I have seen some of . . . True Blood, what an odd series that has so much random theories slapped together."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Perhaps, but I know in this case it was referring to a physical shine that the vampires in that particular story give off when in sunlight. Of course we all know what happens if that actually comes to pass." He smirked a touch, holding his tea cup between his hands but not drinking from it just yet. "True Blood was...interesting, I agree. The thought of a world where those in the shadows are no longer hidden by them is a fascinating one, I'll admit."

Vincent Drake: "Never saw True Blood myself, saw the first season of Diaries, but if we're going by live action melodrama," he looks off in the distance, "Carry on my wayward son, theyll be peace when you are done, lay you're weary head to rest, don't you cry no more," he sang then blinked, "Oh dear. ..the Winchesters would kill me if they where real."

Juliet Morrigan: "Pardon me."

She excuses herself to go and get a drink one that appears to be red wine and by the legs the beverage leaves of it after she drinks it, is most likely exactly what it is.

"I have ironically given such a world quite the bit of thought. This would need to be a world where there is a treat to the human population that is greater than one they would be able to collectively handle themselves. I am familiar with the "zombie" theme that "preppers" prepare for. Depending the nature of such a disease, we could be in a favorable position to actually come to light. A little theatrics and flare could easily propel us into a sort of "hero" status."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Probably." Daniel replied to Vincent, chuckling. "My sister was and is obsessed with that show, so I've seen a good chunk of it."

He then nodded to Juliet, polishing off his tea before setting the cup to the side. "Potentially, yeah. It's an interesting thought experiment, at the very least."

Vincent Drake: "Is it wrong that I may or may not have had day dreams of being emperor of a vampire post apocalypse?" he chuckled

Juliet Morrigan: "Such a position would be exceptionally hard to maintain given the number of us with ambitious goals. There are some that might not care, while others would take a great deal to attempt to steal such a unique position for themselves."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Indeed. Then again, dealing with a potential post-apocalypse society is going to be hectic enough, let alone factoring in the other supernaturals remaining in the populace."

Vincent Drake: he stood up and made a dramatic pose, "Hail Vincent, founder of the Drake Dynasty and Emperor of the New Camarilla," he then sat down and laughed, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please don't take that as my actual ambition, I've just watched too much Code Geass," he laughed a bit more, "I imagine a nerd with an overactive imagination is the last person you'd expect to be among such esteemed Kindred." he gestured to the whole room and smiled, "I've never gotten to saying it, but thanks for putting up with the new kid, I think I've come down from the high of being embrace."

Juliet Morrigan: "when it comes to other supernaturals, it would be easiest to simply divide up territory. Non-aggression pacts have been in place for centuries and remain to this day as means of deterrents. So long as a main pact is created for the "Survival of Humanity" in the face of such an overwhelming apocalyptic force, things should fall into place with relative ease."

She briefly rubs her head

"You would be best off getting your title correct first. It would most likely be: Hail his or her Imperial Majesty, founder of the "dynasty name" Dynasty, Emperor or Empress of "insert region". There of course would probably be some minor tweaks to the title but that should be about right."

Daniel Hawthorne: Daniel chuckled at Vincent's exclamation, giving him a small nod. "To use the line, a beginning is a very delicate time. You've had your bumps and bruises but you're learning from them and that's the important part."

"True enough." He then nodded to Juliet. "This city is an example of peaceful coexistence being possible; it's miles away from how things worked in Boston."

Vincent Drake: "Would it be wrong to dream of a group across the boundries, Vampire, Lost, Mage. . .even Werewolf, under a common banner?"

Juliet Morrigan: "I would classify it as more "idealistic" than anything else. It is possible for groups to unite, there are often strings to why this happens though. Issues a side cannot solve themselves that another can for instance. I do not believe this is something that is common or should be considered the "normal" in our spheres. Doing so would put you at a severe disadvantage, I would suggest to err on the side of caution and then be pleasantly surprised. This is a more realistic thought in my experience."

Daniel Hawthorne: "I prefer the set up here, honestly. Our world can be a cutthroat one, both mundanely and supernaturally, so having a place where we can comingle and really explore our similarities as much as our differences is beneficial to everyone."

Vincent Drake: "One of my partners is of the Lost, I have several friends among the Mages," he sipped, "I think, not just cooperation, but maybe it a future, a true new faction could emerge, where we could be united under a common creed rather then what we are." he mused, "Just a thought from a naive and idealistic childe." he smiled

Juliet Morrigan: "As I said, that is an idealistic point of view. So if you plan on leaving this city at any point in your unlife, I would suggest shelving that and taking a more realistic approach. One that acknowledges that there will be places you visit that this city is extremely different from. There will probably be supernatural factions at odds with each other and vying for power over the city."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Of course." He offered a small nod. "I don't intend on leaving any time soon, though."

Vincent Drake: "Why would I leave?" he said, as if they idea of leaving Philly was. . .almost alien

Juliet Morrigan: "If one never leaves their home, they deny themselves the ability to learn customs of other cities or nations. You deprive yourself of first hand experience that you would otherwise gain from doing so. But to each their own, of course."

Daniel Hawthorne: Daniel remained quiet for the moment, allowing Vincent to answer the Alder as he saw fit.

Vincent Drake: "It. . .I'm not going to deny the quality of another culture but. . ." he seemed at a loss for words, "I can't do that to Her, She needs me, I leave Philly and where do I go, the nowhere towns in Bucks, a ghost town like Centralia, you can't hear Her and I'm sorry neither of you can but. . ." he takes a big gulp of his drink, "It's a song I can't imagine myself without."

Juliet Morrigan: "I am quite aware of your feelings and I do not find fault with them by any means. Perhaps someday you will be able to travel, if even only for a night or two. As you said yourself, you have Mage friends so a night or two on the other side of the world is not impossible. At least I would assume after all, most fiction is rooted in some form of fact."

Daniel Hawthorne: "I wouldn't be surprised. I've seen some of what they can do and it's impressive."

Vincent Drake: he sipped his drink, "Maybe, I just don't see why, my world is here," he shrugged but chuckled, "Then again, that should be a decent reason for Elder's to just pass me off, why worry about a man whose only concern is a single city," then he blinked, "Oh. . .um, Alder Morrigan," he said, in that 'can I ask you a favor' voice one would speak to their parent, "I actually have a new cause I'm fighting for that I may need some of your. . .expertise."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: Val steps in, hands behind her head, waving to the group of familiar people, a raised eyebrow at Vinny, but getting some water and deep breaths before making her way over.

"Hey you guys. Er, well...guys and Dame Knight. How is your day going...night. How is your night going?"

Juliet Morrigan: She arches a brow at the response

"That would depend completely on the elder and their position in said city. If it is an elder who is the ruler of the city it might concern them a significant amount. I would expect the ruler of the city to consider it "their world" as well. The reason I do not remain in Cardiff despite my position in the Inner Circle there is simply because I find it unnecessary. I often act as a tie breaker so I have the luxury of being able to venture where I wish. The position of Marquise is one that is also somewhat at odds with the position of Dame Knight. This is the way I have found balance between the two."

There is a brief pause as she offers a small smile to Val

"Good evening Miss Valeria, your night is acceptable I hope."

Those eyes quickly shift back to Vincent

"This will not become a theme, will it? A new cause every three weeks or so? I recall my younger years of being a touch indecisive myself until my Sire had a discussion with me."

Daniel Hawthorne: Daniel smiled to Val as she came in, an eyebrow arching slightly seeing her somewhat winded state. "So far so good. How's your training going?"

He then looked between the two Unconquered, falling silent for the moment as he observed.

Vincent Drake: He smiled as he bestie came in and waved at her, "Val, good to see you, how have you been?" he asked before turning to his Liege

"I wouldn't call it a new cause, it's not part of my primary ventures, merely a. . .charity project," he shrugged, "I was homeless for a few years breathing and have, even when I was breathing, cultivated friendship with the fellow housing impaired, as such the rise in hostile architecture breaks my heart every time, it's a war on the less fortunate and vulnerable, so I was thinking of doing something about it, rather then take a crow bar and blow torch, I remembered I know someone who can point me at palms to grease to remove them. . .legally." he smiled

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "Training is going aight. I was trying to see if I could tire myself out...so far the answer seems to be no. Like...30 mile run and I'm still not physically tired. Winded a bit, but not tired. Kinda wild."

Val raised an eyebrow at her bestie, then throws an arm around him and gives him a noogie.

"Vincent is a planner. He's the one coming up with a new scheme every other day. Not to be rude or anything, but rather than try to limit him, it might be better to try to get him to funnel his energy and adjust as needed. He's fantastic at adjusting on the spot."

Juliet Morrigan: Juliet takes a moment to raise her glass to her lips as she listens to the words of the others. Letting them air their various plans and desires before she responds.

"Cast too wide a net and the most valuable of fish will slip through it. I understand a desire to want to protect and defend these people. The favors I currently have are at the moment otherwise reserved. I am assuming you wish for me to find a way to make use of my contacts within the Government. This would be a delicate matter and depending on the type of desired outcome, could be slightly detrimental to my own desires. We may speak more of it later and I will arrive at a decision at that time. I promise that much."

Daniel Hawthorne: "That...is impressive." Daniel nodded to Val, smirking a touch at the noogie. "Glad the training's going decently, though."

Vincent's idea got a couple gears turning in the Haunt's mind, however, quietly mulling as the pair talked.

Vincent Drake: he took said noogie in stride, "Of course, I wouldn't dare suggest you to use you're own resources on me, merely that you might know who to work on so I don't waste time and achieve a desired outcome."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: Val bites her lip. Ya know what, let the Invictus Invictus, seemingly for a good cause. She nods to Daniel.

"I mastered Resilience. Granted...that was a lot of my focus with the Diciplines. But I was already pretty good at endurance before all this, gymnastics takes a ton of full body everything. Now I'm just kinda hoping I don't get too reliant on it."

Juliet Morrigan: She offers a small shrug

"Submit a proposal, I will review it and if it meets my expectations, I will see which way it will go. Now, I think it most polite to ensure that the other two guests do not feel excluded. I would be besides myself if I made someone else feel that way."

A glance to Valeria

"I admit my situation was quite different than your's so I cannot offer any keen insight besides the fairly obvious, do not be over reliant on the blood least it exert its influence over you."

Daniel Hawthorne: "Congratulations." He smiled quietly, giving Val another small nod. "It's a fine line to walk, but I'm sure you'll make it work."

At Juliet's mention of the influence of the blood over those who drink it he sat back in his chair, his thumb lightly rubbing against the side of his finger for a few moments before he relaxed.

Vincent Drake: "You need to get off of it before the Olympics." Vincent offered before taking another sip of whiskey before standing up, "I should get going, got a hot date with a bird, a princess, and Netflix." he chuckled, "I'll outline my idea, Val we need to game sometime, good to see you Daniel." he offered everyone farewells before walking out

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "Dude...not in public."

She shakes her head and hugs him before he heads off.

"I'm...a Ghoul. It already has its influence over me. I'm fully Bonded to Guy and I'm fine with that. No offense to either of you, promise, but he's by far the nicest Kindred I've met. Caring, supportive, all that. The circumstances sucked but...well I'm glad it was him."

Juliet Morrigan: "Enjoy your evening Mister Drake, safe travels to you."

Daniel Hawthorne: "No offence taken. I'm glad you found a regnant that treats you well and lifts you up; not all of us had that opportunity." Daniel said with a nod, glancing at his watch as it beeped before looking to the remaining pair. "If you'll excuse me I need to head out. It was good meeting you, Alder Morrigan, and good to see you as always, Val."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: She nods with a smile, offering him a fist bump.

"And then there were two... unless you need to head out too Miss- I mean Alder Morrigan."

Juliet Morrigan: "Enjoy your evening as well Mister Hawtorn."

A glance towards Valeria

"I have no plans to require my attention at the immediate moment. I am free to stay or . . . "keep this party moving" I think is a popular phrase. Though I admit I would like to get out of this dress."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "If you're asking to take me to bed, I will have to decline."

She winces.

"Just...not interested in that tonight. I dunno if there are spots to change here...I mean...it is a hotel but like I dunno if they have things to change into."

Juliet Morrigan: Juliet . . . looks exceptionally confused and simply stares at Val for a long moment before speaking

"I have been in this dress since a function a few hours ago. I am saying I would like to change, I do not sleep with anyone besides my beloved."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: She laughs.

"Thank fuck. There's a running sorta... theme... joke...stereotype...yeah we will go with stereotype that lesbians are awful at flirting so I tend to read into things too much. Sorry for that."

Juliet Morrigan: "I do not sleep with anyone besides the woman I love. We have maintained faithfulness for over three hundred years. I promised her at least a millennia and I have the full intention of maintaining that promise."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "And I'm not meaning to ever push you towards anything but that. Honestly, thats super cute. I'm glad you two love each other so much."

Juliet Morrigan: "Love is a difficult thing for someone of my age to discuss, though I do imagine I am closer to my human side than most my age. I try to maintain it because I do believe it to be a necessary quality for us. Without our humanity we become the beast and little more."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "I... get what you mean. I've... seen what happens to those who let go of their humanity. Kinda... well... terrifying. Sorry again for upsetting you... if I did. I'm really not sure."

She seems nervous.

Juliet Morrigan: "More confused than upset, Miss Valeria. I do not actively attempt to seduce anyone except one person. Which I realize is a strange thing especially for a Daeva, considering we are essentially the embodiment of that specific vice. Well to an extent."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "Yeah, I guess that fits confuse me. Uh... you don't gotta answer but like... how do you get Vitae? That bit confuses me the most. But I uh... Im glad you're not upset."

Juliet Morrigan: "I am capable of feeding from the Lost, I have one such contact that offers herself to me willingly as I refuse to feed from any other Kindred."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "I've... heard from a lotta people in the area that they can feed on the Lost. Makes me...a bit nervous for the Lost, but at the same time it's enjoyable. And they definetly deserve a bit of happiness after all they've been through."

A slow and sad nod.

"But I gotcha. Just you and your partner did the most part. And then..the Lost too."

Juliet Morrigan: "I feel like there might be a little bit of a miscommunication. It is only a means to feed, this person is not a romantic partner of mine. While I care for them, there is no body on body contact."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "I don't...oh jeez. Yeah I'm just messing up all my words tonight. Sorry about that"

Juliet Morrigan: "Perhaps you are a little bit more exhausted than you are letting on. Far be it from me to tell you how to live your life, just know that I will not be offended if you need rest."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "Mmm...you do have a point. Physically tired and mentally tired are two different ballgames. Resilience doesn't help that one at all."

She nods slowly.

"Do you mind if I head out so you can get changed and I can get some rest?"

Juliet Morrigan: "If you would like, I can drop you off on my way home."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: She pauses, weighing it, and nods.

"Aight. I would be okay with that. As...long as you don't use my address against me or.my family in any way."

Juliet Morrigan: "I have nothing to gain from such methods, while I am what many would call an "old school Invictus" I do have a fairly specific code of ethics and honor."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: She nods, a thankful smile.

"I appreciate it. In that case yeah, I'd love a ride home. I'm just....uh...a bit worried about my family getting involved in any of this. The fact that Vincent and I were brought into the community like...2 months apart...leaves me a bit worried for the rest of them."

Juliet Morrigan: "Then it looks like we are heading towards the car."

Valeria Rolan-Ruiz: "Thank you, a lot. A ride is great."
