Overview

Appearance:
Mask: A tall slender person with light brown skin and green-blue eyes, Lif dresses casually and plainly, often preferring clothes that don't restrict movement and T-shirts with catchy slogans. There is an old scar at their throat, under the left side of their jaw.

Mien: Their dark hair is always clinging to their face, as if wet, and their skin feels cold, clammy and damp. Their eyes are literal pools of water and leak rivulets down their cheek in well-worn channels. The scar under their jaw dribbles water constantly as well, as if they're a cracked vessel.

Mantle: Plants around Lif are dotted with dew like grass on a summer morning.

Personality: Lif is a deeply caring person, their heart cracking at the seams as they look at what is going on in the world. They're passionate, bright, and looking to increase awareness about the problems they see in the world.

Public History

Fell out of the Hedge in Philadelphia in August 2017.
- Spent her first month or so Ironside very ill, and was tended by the Spring Court
- Joined the Spring Court in the aftermath of her recovery
Became a Joyeux in April 2018
Left the Spring Court and joined Summer in January 2020

Well, Actually - While many take Lif as a servant of the Brackish King, perhaps a scrying pool, she was actually kept by Odinn. Still, she feels an affinity for other aquatic changelings, and will seek their company for casual hangouts.

I Speak for the Trees - Lif is fiercely protective of the environment and works as a student trainee for the EPA while studying Life Sciences at Temple. They've even organized an environmental justice group on campus. Are you also interested in things of this nature? Reach out, they'll loop you in on a letter-writing campaign.

Ignited - The release of information about the Philadelphia Energy Solutions refinery and its levels of benzene was the final straw for Lif, and led to her moving from Spring to Summer rather quickly. She's not actually that good a fighter, and just has her Big Mood to rely on, for the moment. Anyone offering training will quickly become her best friend.

Clear Waters - Despite no longer being a Joyeux, Lif tends to keep an eye on the Clarity of those around her, and is still willing to offer their services to those in need.
