Vampire/Theme/Positions

Domain Positions

There are numerous positions distributed among courts, clans, and covenants that players can conceivably aspire to and occupy. The following is a list of the positions in the domain and who currently occupies them, if anyone. Unless noted otherwise, a position is open to PCs.

Sakima

The highest authority in the city, advised by the Caucus. This is an elected position, voted on by the Caucus itself. Usually the Sakima also serves on the Caucus. (This position is not available to PCs)

Sakima: Saagochque

Caucus

The Caucus is made up of representatives from each of the clans, chosen by the clan as a whole. These representatives are referred to as Sagamore, Priscus, or just as the head of their clans. (This position is not available to PCs)

Keepers of Elysium

Each Elysium has at least one Keeper, who is responsible for ensuring its security, enforcing its rules, making sure that supplies are stocked, and making sure the right people are brought in to deal with problems that exceed their capabilities. Someone can be Keeper for more than one Elysium, and an Elysium may have more than one Keeper.

Frankford Chocolate Factory: Esme Chevrette - Although it looks run down and abandoned from the outside, the facility is far more secure than it looks, and easy to get in and out of. Inside, there are some secure rooms that can be checked out to guests, and a nice lounge area for visitors to socialize. There are a couple of ghouls on staff available to assist at most hours.

Bellevue Hotel: Sora Kan - Located in the heart of the city center, there are vampire-safe rooms at the hotel that are available for new arrivals who need safe lodging and want to be in the heart of things. One of the building's corner domes is a vampire-only lounge that requires key-card access to reach and which has 24-hour security outside it.

Bala Cynwyd: Temporarily Esme Chevrette, assisted by Floretta Williams - A nice home on a private drive in a quiet corner of Bala Cynwyd plays home to one of the more suburban choices for Elysium in the city. Since a lot of the wealthier kindred who don't want to be in the middle of the city are in the area, it's surprisingly busy.

Legal Aid

While not official positions precisely, there are members of the community who make themselves available to assist with legal problems, as well as things like establishing identities.

Okorafor & Kan: A law firm run by Carthian Movement members Ejaita Okorafor & Sora Kan, they also help with establishing 'legal' identities.

Sheriffs

The Sheriff position is more an investigatory position than an enforcement one in Philadelphia. They're responsible for investigating issues that arise within the domain, bringing in experts to assist as needed. More than one Sheriff can be appointed, and while they tend to leave investigations to each other when they know someone has a vested interest in an area of the domain, they don't have designated jurisdictions.
