"Oh yeah, life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone, now walk on."
--
John Mellencamp

Mask: Their androgyny shifts from day to day on a whim--sometimes more masculine in baggy clothes, sometimes in makeup and dresses. Whatever they wear, it's always comfortable enough that they can move around easily in it. Their skin is dark olive, dark hair buzzed short. Their eyes are strangely pale--a golden-green color. They have a quiet presence about them--when quiet and unmoving, it's easy to overlook them. But once in motion they come alive, commanding attention.

Mien: Lux' skin darkens to nearly pitch black, dark enough to contrast the bright neon glow that emanates from them. The light rarely shines directly from them--instead it shines out from inside their clothes, casting their dark features in stark highlight. When in motion they live afterimages behind them and trails of light, like a long exposure photograph. Their ears come to slight points, and their eyes are black, save for the irises, which creates two rings of neon light staring out from the darkness. If they stay in place for too long (Which is fairly rare), flickers of light will drift off of them, creating a halo of eerie firefly-like orbs.

Mantle: Glimmers and glares like the sun catching a snowbank occasionally, a blinding white rather than their usual yellow glow.

Personality: blah blah

Public History:,

Won't Slow Down: Lux has only been out of the Hedge for a few months--but they've made the most of their time. They hit the ground running, quickly joining the Winter Court and integrating themself into mortal spheres. (More info once sanctioned.) Dream Free: Lux has earned a name for themse
Dream Free: Lux has earned a name for themself as a street artist. Their graffiti covers buildings, tunnels, abandoned equipment, and anything else they can get their hands on. Their art almost always makes a political statement--be it related to issues with local government, LGBT+ pride, or support of equal rights. They've gotten to the level of fame that people actively look for their work, and a few have paid them to make murals.
Power To The People: Speaking of political statements... Lux also has integrated themself into local politics as an activist. They're often seen around various rallies, protests, or charity fundraisers. Word has it they have the ear of some influential people.

PARKOUR!!: Lux loves a good thrill. They get their kicks by jumping off of rooftops and ledges, throwing caution to the wind. Urban exploration is one of their favorite pass times. Got to find the best places to tag!

"Blinding Lights", The Weekend
I said, ooh, I'm blinded by the lights
No, I can't sleep until I feel your touch
I said, ooh, I'm drowning in the night
Oh, when I'm like this, you're the one I trust
Hey, hey, hey
I'm running out of time
'Cause I can see the sun light up the sky
So I hit the road in overdrive, baby
Oh, the city's cold and empty (oh)
No one's around to judge me (oh)
I can't see clearly when you're gone
